"Snorkelling & Diving With shallow waters, oceanic drop-offs, sunken ships, bright coral walls and diverse marine life, Tahiti is perfect for both beginning and advanced divers, and if you've never dived before, but want to experience the underwater world, you can do an entry level dive that includes a pre-dive morning in the swimming pool learning the basics, followed by a dive that doesn't extend deeper than 15 meters. You can also just book a snorkeling trip, which still lets you see the marine life, including sharks. There are a number of different reputable companies including TOPDive, which is at the Intercontinental Resort and Tahiti Plongée, located at Marina Lotus, nine kilometers from Papeete."

We had an amazing snorkeling trip with Activiseas in Tahiti! The water was crystal clear and we saw so much marine life—tons of colorful fish, a small shark, an octopus, and even a sunken plane and two boat wrecks! The guides were super friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt safe and had a great time. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend!

We went snorkeling one morning through Top Dive and had a great experience. We had two wonderful guides that explained in great detail all the fish, coral and sea life that we saw. They were knowledgeable about everything under water and the island of Tahiti.

Went Snorkeling with the wales (I think it was about 4 hrs) and also Kayaking on a different day (free for one hour if staying at the hotel). The lady at the front was very nice and spoke good English, and took our reservation for the whale watching/swimming/snorkeling part. For the whale snorkeling, the lady in charge of the boat spoke most of the time in French, I tried my best to translate but sometimes she would specifically translate to English for my wife (so, I'd say we understood about 90% of everything). She was very insightful and respectful of the whales and their space. In the boat, there was also another younger lady assisting and during the swim with the whales, she also held the buoy for whoever needed it. The day we went there was also another lady from the Oceania institute talking about Whale research (almost all of it in French). The experience of swimming and snorkeling in the deep ocean, watching momma whale and baby whale was amazing. We also saw a school of Dolphins. The only complaint I'd have is the snorkeling gear they give you, the breathing tube, specifically, didn't seem too clean. Oh, also, I thought it was very nice that they provide you with a wet suit, because that water is very cold, and the wet suit certainly helped.

My partner, an experienced diver with over 60 dives, had an amazing experience at this dive center. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the instructor was one of the best she’s ever dived with—calm, knowledgeable, and made the dive truly memorable. As someone who isn’t a certified diver, I was thrilled when the captain invited me to join the boat ride. He went above and beyond, helping me address my fear of the ocean in a way that no one else has. I’ve been on many boat rides before, but the level of care and service I received here was unmatched. A truly fantastic experience for both of us!

We did two dives with Top Dive, both were fantastic experiences and exactly what we expected after talking to our guide. Our guide Dimitri was very knowledgable and did great leading our group. The driver, boat and equipment were also excellent. I highly recommend this dive shop to anyone looking for a great experience. If you are staying at the Intercontinental it is just a two minute walk.

My partner and I went to topdive Tahiti for two dives this morning - 8am and 10.30. Very well organised and helpful team made booking easy. On the 10-15min trip out we were treated to viewing whales and dolphins from the rib. Our dive guide was relaxed and confident, helping us into our gear. Gear was well maintained, good quality and comfortable. Nicely paced dives. We saw turtles, sharks and tropical fish. Definitely recommend, particularly if you are staying at the intercontinental. Thank you :)

We did the helmet dive .... what an AMAZING experience with the stingrays. Friendly team, well organized. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that they told us we would be underwater for 30 minutes but I observed that the first team down were only under for 22 minutesvand our dive was 25 minutes. Still happy to highly reccomend the helmet dive here. Clear waters, plenty of tropical fish ... a MUST to do.

Very professional team. One diver was with my husband and son, and other one with me and my daughter. On beginning he felt that my daughter don't feel safe under water (it is different world), and didn't pressure her. She stayed up snorkeling. Three of us enjoyed very much rest of scuba diving
