"Started after the founder studied local weaving and a Bagobo Tagabawa headscarf called the tangkulo, this label is known for pastel separates embellished with traditional beadwork and a custom-woven gintlo plaid from the Blaan. The designer researches indigenous patterns and techniques—incorporating pangulabe beadwork and working directly with Bagobo Tagabawa artisans in Lubogan, Toril and Blaan women of Kiblawan—and has received recognition such as the Grand Winner title at the Stellar Mindanao Heritage Fashion Designers Competition and international showcases in Malaysia." - Stephanie Zubiri
