Toppers Pizza Place

I usually go to Toppers in Gonzales Rd. But the last two times the same lady was with a very bad attitude. She is so rude and her face is showing a really bad attitude about the customer service. I work in a restaurant too and I know that work with people is hard but this is not an excuse. I think that the customer service news to be a priority all the time. Also, I don’t know the name of this lady, but the cashier name in my receive is Dulce. Please, try to be more polite and nice. Thanks.

I like how the workers here move fast. Especially the women, I like to say thank you. If we're not giving us a hard time when going in there.

Love Topper's. Their salad bar is the freshest in all of the land, I'm quite certain. Love their pizza as well. I do wish they offered cauliflower crust but perhaps in the future they will. I tried the meatballs this time. While small, they were good. If you are looking for a spot that is family friendly and also good for larger parties, this is a good one.

I moved from southern California but every time I come for a visit I have to have Toppers!!! We don't have a Toppers in Fresno (hint, hint) so I make sure to get pizza from here any time I visit. Please consider opening a location in central California. We finally got a Coffee Bean and tea leaf after living here for 20 years and it is very successful. I know the public won't be disappointed in Toppers Pizza!

I grew up eating Toppers pizza. I moved out of state 11 years ago and every time I come back to visit family, I HAVE to stop and have Toppers for a meal. Never disappoints! =D 5/5: I was in town again and needed to come to Toppers for dinner. Still the great taste. Garlic bread was amazing!

We were told Toppers have good pizza so we came and found out for ourselves that Toppers have good pizza. The ranch does taste really good. The salad was fresh with no soggy leafy greens. The workers did a really good job with keeping this place sanitized for new customers to come without getting sick.

Guys, I've reviewed toppers many times, and it's the same as always, "wonderful pizza" my food soul loves this place. Tonight, we had spicy Italian sausage and pepperoni.. I love it. Like always my brother and sister, treat you food soul once a while.. enjoy good eats and God bless

We ordered a medium pepperoni with pineapple and breadsticks. I am not one much for pizza but this was exceptionally great pizza. The sauce was good. Cooked perfectly. Service we amazing. The design and interior was fun. Arcade. Salad bar. I don't live in the area but I would travel here just for the pizza again. Peter and cindi were the ones the helped us. Service was great. We had to order the cookie pan. It was also so worth it.

Great service and good food. Came during 5pm and it wasn't too busy, yet. My kids and nephew always get the classic pepperoni. I went with the creamy chicken and it was delicious! As my nephew was finishing up, he felt hair in his braces. Addressed this to someone (black shirt) and she asked for us to promptly return the pizza and made a new one for us. Aside from the hair, kids got to hang out in arcade so it was a nice Friday passing time. It's always a good time here at Toppers with their vibes and chill ambiance.

Food was good but no cap. The lunch size pizza is getting smaller. So it was 4 stars for me today but hopefully it was just an off day. The service is always good and the ambiance is always chill.

I give toppers today a 2star review I came in on my 30 minute break here on New Year's Day not on time I called hour ahead of time of pickup I really am disappointed now I'm late for work.

I especially love their salad bar! When we go in, we get a salad bar and either a hot turkey sandwich or a small delicious pizza!

The gourmet pizzas at Toppers never disappoint. They're expensive. But if you'd rather spend less and you're okay with subpar pizza, go somewhere else. The last two times I walked into the restaurant on Gonzales I was treated very well, in addition to having outstanding pizza (the Italian Garlic Supreme is my personal favorite). The individual (wish I caught their name) who took my order was extremely courteous, smiled, and was just very pleasant. Not all places have customer service like this.

Toppers Pizza is, without a doubt, the GOAT of pizza places! I'm not afraid to say it's the best pizza in the world. Their specialty pizzas are always a hit, but even a classic pepperoni pie is elevated to new heights. If you've ever had the misfortune of moving away from Ventura County, I'm willing to bet Toppers Pizza is at the top of your "what I miss" list. It's that good! The combination of flavors, and quality ingredients makes Toppers a must-visit destination for pizza lovers. Don't @ me, it's the truth!

If I could give this place 10 Stars I would! The service was great the thin crust was light and delicious and not too much red sauce. It came out of the oven 7000° and it was delicious. I would eat hair everyday and be 400 lb if I could!

The pizza was a medium size, combo which didn't come with the correct toppings and the turkey bacon sandwich came without bacon. Was a $46 bill, when I finally got to speak to the assistant manager he was dismissive and rude... never again!

I'm not super big on pizza, but Toppers is the exception. Whenever people visit from out of town I always recommend this place to them. Even my friends who left Ventura County will ask me to bring Toppers when I visit them. I'm not quite sure what separates Toppers from other pizza joints, but I do like how they have a much larger variety on toppings than most places. I usually order my pizza with garlic, chorizo, red onions, and cilantro. Toppers also has a pretty sizable salad bar which can surprisingly fill me up.

To go salads are exempt from sales tax. Sales tax is charged on to go salads at this Toppers Pizza. I informed management at Toppers that they should talk to the owner about charging sales tax on to go salads. They said they would not talk to the owner. I am leaving this Yelp review to communicate with the owner that you are violating CA tax laws by charging sales tax on to go salads.

The pizza taste diferent. Seem they changed something on the pizza dough. Please go back to original recipe.

Very disappointed today in Toppers smaller sandwiches yet higher priced. The greed has hit this place.

They changed everything new pizza sauce the ranch was watered down. Why not sell a variety of beers. Not returning anymore. I would go once a week for lunch but I'm done.

Toppers and In & Out are hands down the most overrated places in the 805. Stop the madness already! Overpriced and mediocre. I blame the fact that people here just don't know any better, unfortunately. Three times we've ordered delivery for various get togethers and it's cold, rubbery; no different than freezer section pizza. In house, the personal pizza is pretty good during lunch for some odd reason. I will give them props for a fab salad bar and dressing options. The jalapeño poppers and pizza cookie are great, sandwiches too. But the pizza?! Come on, now! If you don't mind being a little spendy and want a gourmet GOOD pizza, I recommend Bettina in Montecito.

I guess I'm spoiled, I live in NorthernmCalifornia in Stockton. I come visit my family frequently in Oxnard and they always brag about Toppers, and such. Today I came spent $40 on a medium combination two salads. When it came out,.. I thought it was seriously a Dijornio pizza. I showed our server a picture of our Eric's Pizza; renown in Stockton for being the best. They thought I was being rude, I guess,. but as I mentioned, I would not recommend it just go and get a Digornio instead

Didn't know where to go for dinner! Toppers always sound good. I ordered a small pizza with mushrooms/fresh jalapeños. I ordered my pizza well done as I like it crispy but it was soggy. It was good but not great. I like my crust super crispy crunchy and toasty! There's always next time!

You can never go wrong with some toppers pizza. Hawaiian heat with fresh jalepenos and fried onions.

Also , there's a ranch shortage? Lol assistant manger only gave me 4 cups to get ranch when I have a party of 5 What's the issue I order a large pizza ?

I am never coming here again I was peacefully eating my food with my friends as soon as I took a bite I munched on it for a while and there was something long in my throat and I didn't know what it was... I pulled it out of my throat and it was a hair and it had a bit of cheese on it... The food was alright but that hair didn't stick good to me...

My favorite pizza place in California. I have been a loyal customer for many years. Awesome salad bar with great dressings. Everything is always fresh. I must say that delivery service is always fast. My favorite location is at Oxnard Harbor. Very spacious, clean, and great customer service.

Pricey but really really good!!! Friendly staff. I like the salad bar too. The camarillo location is my favorite. We had a birthday party there too.

I came with my family to have a quick lunch snack, ordered the lunch special only to be informed that they aren't making anymore, mind you it's still within the hours that the special is offered they just refused to make more. I order a regular meal, what really upset me was after I ordered one of the employees either family member or friend came and ordered a lunch special, and they made it! I was appalled at the pure unprofessionalism. They have forever lost my families and my business. It's a shame it was a business we used to enjoy.

Great spot no complaints amazing thin crust pizza with so many options of toppings. Friendly staff very quick service no long waits.

Best pizza place EVER!!! If you're born and raised in the 805 and leave... you'll literally come back here to visit and want to eat here! Never mind the outdated place at some of these Topper's Pizza places... you're here for the food. Hopefully, they take care of that part later! You'll want pizza for sure and that famous amazing ranch! Literally, the best ranch ever! You can't forget the salad and well... you'll need half a sandwich too :D My favorite sandwich is the tasty bacon Turkey and I would say the second sandwich I get when that's all I'm gonna eat is the veggie sandwich.. it's sooo good!

Excellent salad bar during nonCOVID times. I especially love that they have fresh spinach, jicama, cheddar cheese, eggs and a good ranch dressing. Their pizza has always reminded me of Rusty's in Santa Barbara & Carp. I found out recently that in fact, the two used to be owned by brothers that split the business and renamed Ventura area stores Toppers. My sister loves this pizza. She loves the garlic chicken sauce and spicy roni cups. My daughter loves the garlic chicken pizza and my granddaughter loves their pineapple pizza. I like their cheese and veggie special - gold the mushrooms, add pineapple. I've tried several other local pizzas but so far this is my favorite.

Get the carnitas pizza. It's so freaking good. One of my fave pizza places in the area

Best pizza EVER! You can't choose wrong! We love the carnitas chipotle pizza! Best ranch in the entire world! I don't live in Ventura county anymore and I always wonder why in the world they don't expand a location out here. It would do very well! Santa Clarita is too far as well and I'm always craving toppers pizza. There is literally NOTHING like this pizza in la county. I have searched through and through! Toppers come to LA already! Confusing website for ordering pizza and they'll blame you for it being confusing. They won't refund or remake your pizza. They don't care about customers. Just about taking your money and misleading customers and never making it right. All they can say is, "oh well," and hang up on you. Which is exactly what happened. Horrible customer service. Been eating here for years and feeling very disrespected. Probably not going to order here ever again.

I used to love the jalapeño poppers...but someone ain't cooking them right these days. Too much cream cheese, and they never seem sizzling hot anymore.

I don't often come to this area much, mainly because it's around 70 miles from where I currently reside, so I knew I had to pick the perfect place to indulge in when I was in Ventura county again. * Chicken, chicken, and more chicken. I ordered a medium half and half Creamy Garlic Chicken and Chicken Ranch Dijon pizza. There were plenty of toppings and the staff happily gave me as many ranch and cheeses as I wanted. It was an AMAZING tasting pizza. Rich in flavor and perfect ratio of topping to cheese to crust. The only complaint I have is that the pizza seemed a little small, for a medium size. * You have a choice from selecting pizzas from their 'top hit selections' (which is what I did) or you can simply create your own. Aside from pizzas, they also have salads, sandwiches, and breadsticks. What would a pizza joint be without alcohol? No worries, they serve beer & wine for my over 21 friends. * Covid considerations: staff is always wearing masks, they socially distance their in door seating, and have a designated employee filling and refilling drinks at the hydration station The Creamy Garlic and the Chicken Ranch Dijon complimented each other very well. I will definitely be back to try other things on their menu!

This place was OG pizza with games and family style and yet modern. I really loved this place - they were fast too!

I have had toppers shandwhiches. I alway ordered a roastbeef provalone pastrami on rye. I always ask for thousand island dressing . They never put it in the sandwhich always on the side. You can not have a ruben with out it. Technically its not on the menu.

Worst ever ordered 2 pizzas 1 was done right while the other one was done wrong took them 37 minutes to bring us another one after everyone was done eating except my husband. We can to Oxnard from Santa Paula just for this shitty service the just kept ignoring us never coming back ag

Great pizza, great service and delivery is so fast. I love how efficient they are. This the way a business should be run. Kudos to the owners. The only issue is the price is a little high.

Hour and 20 minutes to get a cold pizza delivered. The young man who brought it to the door asked if this was the right address. Yes, it's on the house in two places, both facing the street, both are illuminated. Went ahead and reheated it instead of waiting for another to be delivered.

Best tasting pizza in the area. A bit pricey though. You can get decent pizza at other local restaurants for much less. Try it when you want to splurge.

The food was good but the employees were so rude and disrespectful. Very dismissive and it was barely opening. very disappointed.

You know you'd think after people finding cockroaches in their food and hair in their pizza at other locations - they'd be more prompt and efficient with their customer service. Not only was their another person in front of me- they took their employees order before even acknowledging me. No apology, no nothing and to make matters worse- there was 5-6 employees and I'm sure managers and/supervisors behind the registers. Not a good look Toppers. To add insult to injury, every time I would say thank you- it was NEVER acknowledged with a "you're welcome" or a "thank you." Furthermore, I get home with my take out and paid for 2 LARGE RANCH DRESSINGS and... nothing

What can I say, Toppers is my go to pizza place. The pizza is always hot and tasty, and if I order by phone the pizza always has the correct toppings, and no wait.

Their new policy that you have to show your ID to a complete stranger is illegal. As someone who has recently dealt with identity fraud, do not let them look at your card and ID. They were completely unreasonable when we addressed this on the phone.

The best pizza place in the 805! It really can't be beat. People who move from the 805 and come back to visit have to hit this place first. I'm glad I am close to one. It's a bit pricey on the specialty pizzas but it's worth it. The crust is bomb and the ranch at the salad bar is too good! If you're in need of quick lunch for work, they have a special and it's worth it. Love it here.

It's my favorite pizza around Ventura county. I have been to almost all of them from Ventura to Oxnard to Camarillo they are great pizza lunch or dinners anytime for me thank you guys !
