Google
Gone down a bit in recent years. The place has always been expensive but the location, experience, and topping selection justified the price somewhat back in the day. Now, it is just ok. Yesterday, there were many broken machines. They also had many topping selections missing. The service was just ok and everything was lackluster. The sign at the front is even faded. Because of all of this it now feels really overpriced.

Google
I love toppings!!! BUT the workers always close earlier than the store actually closes. The toppings are always put away a good half hour before closing, which is super disappointing since the store is named toppings. Why can’t they leave their toppings out until close. It’s so frustrating!!!!!!!! Here’s a photo of my froyo with no toppings because the worker told me she had to close early else she would be there late lol.

Libby Hill

Google
An absolutely fabulous froyo experience. I'd estimate ~120 toppings and ~12 specialty flavors (regular flavors too.) You get to do toppings yourself - important. 15/10 would drive any distance to come back. SO GOOD.

Google
Toppings has a wide selection of frozen yogurt flavors and an even wider selection of toppings. Everything is self-serve and you pay by weight. There is a decent amount of seating inside and a few tables with chairs outside. I have only visited at night and have never had any trouble finding street parking. I personally enjoy the tart flavors more but Toppings only have a few. They mainly have sweet flavors but also include some interesting ones that you don't usually see.

Google
This place is gorgeous! The yogurts are delicious! There are so many more flavors then their copy cat competition. The difference is this store is kept clean! Very clean! They have many more options then the yogurt shoppe and they aren't deceptive as to the contents like the dump around the corner. This store is professionally run and that makes all the difference!

Google
Came here kinda late night on a Friday night. Line wasn't too bad. About 30 minute wait before we got to the counter. A lot of variety here when it comes to flavors and dessert types but I can't say it was amazing. We tried the cookies and cream ice cream sandwich and the grasshopper and both were pretty good. I probably wouldn't be back because I don't think it's worth the drive or the wait but for my first time it was pretty good.

Google
There's a reason why this establishment's name is toppings too. in addition to having what seemed like about a dozen or more flavors of frozen yogurt and custard. They had what seemed like hundreds of choices of toppings. If you could think of it it was there. The establishment was clean, the staff was welcoming, and the yogurt was pretty darn good too.

Google
I walked in and asked if there were vegan flavors, I was told "yes". TLDR, there aren't. I asked to see the ingredients list to see if there was regular cane sugar (unsafe to vegans due to bone char), and it seems there was nothing vegan friendly amongst the selection. Darn. Try the local "The Yogurt Shoppe" instead, they are considerate of vegans and have 3 flavors as of July 2022 (chocolate, watermelon, and blue gatorade [YES the gatorade flavor is safe because they use the powdered drink mix])

Yelp
If you have any reason to wonder how this place got its name, take a look inside. I have never seen such an amazing selection of toppings and then once you take a look at the yogurt choices, it just blows you away. Everything was incredibly tasty and fresh and that's the reason my single serving cost me almost 14 bucks. That being said, I'll be back!

Yelp
Toppings Yogurt on Palisades is a favorite in our household! The sheer number of topping options is amazing--there's something for every craving. My kids absolutely love coming here and getting creative with their yogurt bowls, piling on everything from fresh fruits to candies. The staff is always patient and friendly, which makes our visits even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a fun and tasty treat, this is the place to go!

Monserrat R.

Yelp
10/10 yogurt spot! They have the best flavors and the best toppings. The workers are always so nice and have awesome music taste!!!

JohnE U.

Yelp
Always a good place for desserts, with a wide selection of yogurt flavors and delicious toppings. Very conveniently located in town, and the service had always been friendly.
google avatar

George M.

Yelp
Nice place with music playing, a lot of flavor choices and a large variety of toppings, hence the name. We tried to guess our ice cream prices and it was fun. There's an art section and arcades and a tv playing the playoffs nba game right now. The froyo is incredible.
google avatar

Alexander D.

Yelp
I'm not the biggest frozen yogurt guy but this is as good as it gets! I like the chocolate brownie but my favorite part is the excellent staff and the art wall/arcade are a ton of fun! 100% recommend

Fabian S.

Yelp
very good frozen yogurt, nothing wrong with it. but the guy working there today asked extremely unwelcome questions and among other things claimed I was bad for not paying for the ice cream when my date wanted to pay but in fact was here for the first time in my life on a date and he wanted to show me a good place and then again when we are about to leave he starts telling my date to tie his shoes for the 5th time even though the design of the shoes were like that. don't go there if you want to be jumped on by the way you dress.

Yelp
I hate to write a review like this when I loved the place back in April, but since I was last in to Toppings, I haven't seen the sweet Manager at all and if I try to ask the person working they either can't speak due to a hearing impairment or the person doesn't speak english. How do you run a business when you don't have employees who can literally just answer questions you might have. The woman manager was very engaging, had conversations will all of the customers, she said something about building the community as she had done with other businesses. She just seemed to truly care about the customers and the customer experience. I've seen a few of the new workers rolling their eyes if a kid makes a mess of The Toppings. They're kids in a 100+ Topping store, of course they will get messy. The Manager didn't care, she would laugh it off, tell them it's ok and she'd clean it up asap. The toppings were always willed nicely with her and the store was clean as a whistle. It's been pretty bad lately, it looks dirty, toppings are half empty and stale, some of the fruit even crusty. Not sure what's up with that amazing manager but you should do what you can to move her back to this store. You should have your best in your biggest store, right? Just my latest thoughts that mirror a lot of my friends who frequent Toppings.

Yelp
It's gone down hill. The whole place could use a paint job. When I went there today more then half the yogurts were out of order. The price is insane as well. Didn't bother looking more around. It used to be the hit spot 10 years ago, now it's just not welcoming and looks dirty.

Yelp
I used to stop and enjoy this yogurt 3 times a week. O I so looked forward to treating myself! I was paying over 7.00 for a half cup of swirled yogurt, but it was Devine Heaven. A month or so ago I noticed a thinner cup that my yogurt went into, a spoon that now is so sharp it hurts the sides of my mouth, (the good ole spoons were remarkable lovely to eat with) and cheap crappy thin napkins that you need 10 of to wipe ur table or mouth. Not happy with the cheap new supplies, but the yogurt was still great tasting. ( prices were raised as well) A couple of weeks later I rush in for my fix and settled down at a table, and something tasted off. The yogurt was different......no flavor. What I say? Nooooooo the NEW OWNERS wouldn't cheap out on the product as well really? I threw it out and chalked it up to my buds being out of order. Came a week later hoping to rekindle my luv affair but nah..Same unsatisfying flavor. Say it ain't so....The yogurt recipe has been changed and it tastes bland and flavorless. I'm crushed that you fiddled around with a great tasting product and now are serving a substandard product.....all to save money I guess. Ya lost me and my circle.....boooooooooooo

Yelp
What happened to this place!? Used to be the THE best frozen yogurt experience ,you could eat off the floor it was so clean . I Guess this is over... , the shop is so dirty and the quality of the froyo is all runny and gooey...yuckiest experience! Not even mentioning the prices, absolutely ridiculous. Bye bye Toppings , thank you for the memories!

Yelp
Simply marvelous Great selection Very friendly staff Beautiful location Can not wait to returm

Yelp
BEST FROYO PLACE EVER!!! If you go you should get the PB flavor 100% kind of expensive but worth every cent.
google avatar

Dragonfly K.

Yelp
New owner kept the name, but it's a different company now. Was told it's owned by yogurt shop. Who knows. Cheap junky topping and terrible less quality yogurt. It taste nothing like before. Place is dirty. We gave it a try 3 times after the change of ownership, but will not be back.

Yelp
MY ALL TIME FAVORITE FROYO PLACE ON THE PLANET!! This place is hands down the BEST frozen yogurt spot in LA. They have great options for yogurt, my favorite which is HONEY GREEK!! Paired with Nutella and berries, YUM! And the topping options are endless!! The price per ounce is a little higher than average and with all the delicious options, it's easy to go overboard! Highly recommend this place if your in the palisades!
google avatar

Staci W.

Yelp
Super fun ice cream shop that lives up to the name. However with so many toppings monitor the loading as the ice cream rises so do those prices!
google avatar

Sebastien T.

Yelp
Humongous selection of frozen yogurts and toppings. Very good but very pricey. A medium size portion with a few berries came out to 12$

Yelp
As the name suggests, it's all about the toppings here! There are at least a dozen yogurt flavors on tap at any given time plus the ability to swirl carefully thought out combinations. Unfortunately the day we went, which appeared to be pretty slow, the girl who was working the register was not very personable. As it was our first time, we walked in and asked for some sample cups. She casually pointed to some that had already been laid out without a word and went back to browsing in her phone. I like that they mark dairy free, no sugar added and low fat options! We made our selections then moved on to the toppings. And there were many! Enough to cater to every palate with over 3 million combination possibilities! Sounds enticing, but nothing was marked so telling the different between chopped nut varieties or chocolate chip/chunk bins proved to be a challenge. Again when we asked for assistance, the girl behind the counter seemed more bothered than interested in being helpful. Sadly, it was a turn off to see a long blond hair stretched out atop the candy bar section. Other than that unfortunate sight, the rest of the counters were kept clean from stray toppings and there was nary a piece of trash in sight. It was a bit on the pricey side for froyo and will be reserving this place for when the craving strikes rather than a "go-to" stop.

Yelp
Whenever I get the urge for something cool and refreshing I stop in to this shop for frozen yogurt. I like the self serve and the ability to select my own toppings and mixtures. I usually go for something without added sugar and top with nuts. Not too exciting but I am not all that complex. Three to four items together gives my palate textures and tastes. I like the texture and colors of the yogurt because they remind me of good gelato in Italy. That Lady is not a fan of frozen yogurt, so I usually do not have to share. Thankfully our dog is not allowed sweets, so there is more for me. You probably see through my brief reference to sharing as what it is, I don't share my frozen yogurt, not when I made it my way. The store is casual with seating inside and out. The staff is always up beat and it is on the sunny side of the street, in the afternoon, so a little extra tug on the handle will help you cool down quicker. Now you know all my secrets!

Yelp
I found this place while walking around exploring the neighborhood. I decided to bring my mom by since she's used to Pinkberry. The first time I visited was last Saturday. My mom was so overwhelmed it was amusing. She went with the original tart yogurt, and I chose the caramel yogurt. There are a LOT of toppings to choose from here. This place trumps Pinkberry and Yogurtland easily. There are about 5-6 separate sections to choose toppings from. Gummies, chocolates, cereals, nuts, cookies, candy bars, jelly boba, mochi, fruit, and sauces. My mom was so overwhelmed that she asked when the fruit was coming up (she's legally blind and I was making her fro-yo). Every time I'd take a topping, the girl would go after the spoon I touched, and place it a certain way. Okay, they care about presentation here. For two yogurts, I paid about $9. It's a bit pricey, but this is by weight so it's sneaky. I returned here yesterday with my boyfriend because I knew he'd enjoy all the options. This time, the yogurt in the cappuccino yogurt dispenser flowed so slow, I could have topped my cup and started eating. The girl working started texting while behind the counter. Then shortly after, a man and two little boys appeared. The one little boy grabbed a cup and put a good amount of chocolate custard in it, then decided to can it. Then they both filled up their new cups as the man went behind the counter with the girl (I'm guessing he's the owner?). The two boys proceeded to go around and put toppings in their cups, with their bare hands. While their dad was in front of them. I'm somewhat disgusted this was allowed and the 'norm' of Toppings. If I hadn't returned, this place would have had a glowing review.

Yelp
Good fro-yo but the toppings are the star here (as that "other" yogurt place in The Palisades gets the edge in creamy-ness) They have some seats inside and a few outside but most people take their to go.
google avatar

Shayna G.

Yelp
This is probably the best frozen yogurt I've ever had but 3 stars for being poorly run. They're very inconsistent in their hours and are closed when they're supposed to be open. When they are actually open they are understaffed and unhelpful. They have a bunch of kids working there who aren't very knowledgeable about their jobs. I hope this place gets its act together because their yogurt is really superb.
google avatar

Evalin M.

Yelp
I come here every week with the girls I babysit. Every time we come they have new flavors which keeps things exciting. I've never seen a frozen yogurt shop with so many toppings.. hence the name ;) I honestly just with they had more locations but I'd go out of the way to come here! Best frozen yogurt shop I've ever been to!

Yelp
Toppings is SO FUN and just like their name implies ~ so many toppings !!! Fruit and candy and cereal, oh my! Dairy free options (yay!) and lovely customer service! Also great prices and big helpings! Not to mention, great location and always good parking available around there.
google avatar

Ross S.

Yelp
I have been to toppings a few times, and it is definitely a fun hangout place in the palisades. They have a great assortment of froyo, and not to mention all the TOPPINGS! There are hundreds of toppings that you can spice up your ordinary froyo cup up with. I really like the range of froyo that toppings has, from basic tarts to cookies and cream, to peanut butter and beyond. If you are looking for froyo in the palisades, I definitely recommend toppings
google avatar

Noesh H.

Yelp
One of my favorite frozen yogurt places in LA. I discovered this place with a couple friends of mine from Malibu! All I can say is this place is what you call high-end, quality yogurt with a very luxurious atmosphere/setting. They have an unbelievable variety of toppings, hence the name "toppings". Not to mention, after consuming their yogurt; you won't feel heavy and full like most yogurt places. You will feel satisfied and light. I highly recommend everyone to try this place at least once in their lifetime!
google avatar

nikki k.

Yelp
I consider myself a frozen yogurt expert. I travel all over the world and make a point of trying frozen yogurt places everywhere I go. I think Toppings is among the best. Texture matters. The frozen yogurt at Toppings is incredibly smooth. Many places I've been to taste great, but the texture can be granular or icy. Toppings has mastered a smooth, creamy texture. Taste matters. Toppings is delicious and decadent regardless of the flavor, though vanilla custard, peanut butter and caffe luxxe are my favorite. I am a purist, but I realize to many, toppings matter and they have a name that fits their toppings selection. This place is worth the drive if you're not near the Palisades. And if you are, walk there because you'll want to keep going back!
google avatar

Roxy R.

Yelp
One of the best yogurt places I have been to in LA. Their flavors are so delicious especially the chocolate and vanilla custard. They have such a big selection of toppings. Love supporting small businesses especially during COVID. This is a local gem.
google avatar

Kae G.

Yelp
Hands down the best froyo in Pacific Palisades! We enjoyed the machines innovative assembly -you're now able to mix two flavors into one. The caffe latte and salted caramel mix is amazeballs! We also enjoyed the vanilla custard flavor, with all of the bomb toppings!!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a wonderful shop to duck in for a sweet treat in the Palisades. It's extremely clean, offers a really nice selection of flavours that all taste great, and as the title says, a wide array of toppings.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in on our way to see a play. Damn good yogurt. True to its name, tons of toppings. Very clean. Fully recommend. Would eat again.

Tara C.

Yelp
I am a huge Toppings fan! I come here pretty frequently to get my frozen yogurt fix as I feel like they have a lot of options to choose from for both fro yo and toppings. One favorite flavor of mine is the honey Greek yogurt! Although there can be some variation in the quality of the fro yo, I find that Toppings is pretty consistently good and you can always sample before you commit.
google avatar

Livia R.

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about Toppings. It's a reliable stop for a sudden craving. However flavor wise it is a bit hit or miss. I like all the toppings they have, but they are often out of nutella. I've also encountered some (unpleasant?) workers. Not rude just dismissive. Finally, their "base" ($$) is a bit high for me. I wish one could just pay for however little one wants. But they do have a good variety of toppings, hence the name;)
google avatar

Monica G.

Yelp
If Toppings does not carry your topping of choice, then it probably doesn't exist. They even have pickles! Vast yogurt flavors (although they didn't have my beloved coconut) and fair prices. Same concept as yogurt land but with slightly higher prices and wayyyyy more toppings.
google avatar

xavier p.

Yelp
Crappy service, no organization was asked to be moved to different tables 3 different times. The staff wouldn't let us speak to the manager or give the store number, when the manager finally came he would not listen to us. Also they need to practice CDC guidelines for social distance.
google avatar

Kyle M.

Yelp
Toppings is very much an appropriate name for this frozen yogurt gem in the Pacific Palisades: the second you walk in, the selection is overwhelming! Nuts, cereals, candy bars, gummies, fruit, cake pieces, chocolate-covered everything...the list goes on! I can't even begin to describe all the choices you'll have to make. The store as a whole is really nice as well, with clean counters, a well-organized toppings bar, and chalkboard walls with the flavors written above the machines. Most importantly, the one thing that you cannot miss here is the Chocolate Fudge (near the register at the end of the toppings bar). It's hard to describe but here's my go at it: imagine that you have something that tastes exactly like hot fudge, but it's not actually hot so it doesn't melt your frozen yogurt. Not just chocolate syrup--cool hot fudge. Well, Toppings has just that. My best advice would be to DRENCH everything you already have piled into your cup with their Chocolate Fudge, as a last touch to your froyo masterpiece. It's incredible and unlike anything I've had anywhere else! As far as the frozen yogurt itself goes, it's delicious. I am a traditionalist so I usually go with Vanilla or Cookies and Cream, but I also really enjoy the Salted Caramel and Graham Cracker flavors when they're available! They have sample cups so feel free to try whatever you want before committing to an entire cup of it. They're all creamy and perfectly sweet, not overbearing, and a great canvas for all the toppings you'll inevitably load it up with.
google avatar

Bethany S.

Yelp
This place is a fro-yo lover's dream! With 20 different fro-yo flavors and a seemingly endless number of toppings - you must try this place if you love froyo. For flavors, my favorites are the yellow cake batter and salted caramel - so delicious! When you arrive, ask the counter for sample cups so you can make sure you get your favorite combination of flavors (even though you can't choose a wrong one!) One of my favorite elements of Toppings is that it's DIY - so you can get exactly as much or as little as you want, and you pay by weight. The toppings are what makes this place even more amazing. Anything you've ever dreamed of putting on fro-yo is available here!! Lucky charms marshmallows, chocolate potato chips, gummy worms, Nutella - you name it, they got it. This place is a can't miss!
google avatar

Emma R.

Yelp
If you want to experience the real, do it your own frozen yogurt, then this is the spot!! For the frozen yogurt selection, they have regular, Dairy free, sugar free, and low fat, all marked above each yogurt. The topping selection they have is insane.. from brownies to skittles to chocolate and caramel sauces. Definitely recommend. Good street parking. Try to go before all the kids get out of school, because then it can get pretty busy..
google avatar

Jodi B.

Yelp
This is the BEST yogurt place I have ever been to. Just as the name says "Toppings"; oh my, there are toppings galore! Any cake or sauce or candy you could ever want is all there. Not only are there an abundance of toppings, they are of the highest quality and delicious. They are just what you would want on your yogurt. The yogurt was amazing as well. The flavors were diverse, and delicious! They have healthier options also, such as vegan and no added sugar. My personal favorite yogurt flavor was the blueberry. The yogurt tasted so fresh and light. Perfect treat! Definitely worth stopping by.
google avatar

Ebbie C.

Yelp
I have never seen so many toppings options at a frozen yogurt place in my life. They present it so beautifully and everything is super clean and topped off and fresh. Really it is impressive to see. There is a flavor for everyone and especially if you live a healthy lifestyle, you will appreciate the healthier options and how packed with flavor they are. you have no excuse to eat unhealthy ice cream after coming here. What a treat!

Holly N.

Yelp
The lines can be long sometimes at certain times but it's always fun to come with the kids and hubby for a sweet little treat. Thank you guys for being so cool about our extra big party through. Everyone's order was perfect. Thank you! Support our local businesses everyone!
google avatar

Lisa L.

Yelp
This yogurt shop is great and a pleasure to go into. Always a huge variety of yogurt flavors and literally unlimited in your topping choices as they have such a huge variety of toppings to choose from. The place is clean and atmosphere is very inviting. Love to go there with my family, it is the best!
google avatar

Evelyn F.

Yelp
Omg I visited yesterday and ahh, love it! So many toppings, like anything you could ever want, a little bit or as much as you want The yogurt was all pretty good too. And the awesome thing is, even though its in Pacific Palisades, its pretty inexpensive. Specifically 51 cents an ounce. Love this place so much & will def be back! An example of how much I loved it is me going back for round 2; also just because there were so many more topping combinations to try!! I recommend cappuccino with red velvet cake. Aaah.

Piojito H.

Yelp
The best yogurt in town!!!! So many different flavors and many toppings to choose from. You won't regret :)
google avatar

Michele P.

Yelp
All I have to say about this place is WOW! The plethora of topping options really did meet expectations considering the name of the entire place is "Toppings". I have never seen so many toppings in my life in fact it made me wonder how they all stay fresh when there are so many options. I also liked the eight flavor options for the yogurt and must admit that I sampled every single one before I picked my perfect, top-able combination. The four out of five star ratings is because I thought it was a little bit too pricey.
google avatar

Natalie L.

Yelp
I'll be the first to admit it- I'm just a little bit obsessed with this place. It honestly did take me by surprise just how MANY toppings they offered (maybe I should have just known from the name?) but I was seriously surprised to make my way around the corner, only to discover more and more of what can only indulge my serious sugar addiction. The flavors of yogurt they offer are also fairly extensive as well, and they are constantly adding and rotating flavors to mix things up (not that they need to- it was hard enough to narrow my decision to what ended up being about 2.5 different flavors. By the time I had reached the other side of the toppings bar, my cup already seemed pretty full, but I just couldn't resist adding everything that seemed I couldn't do without. I ended up with an embarrassing amount and variety of toppings, which included but not limited to: chocolate covered gummy bears, marshmallows, chocolate covered marshmallows, pop tart pieces, graham cracker crumbs, brownie chunks, red velvet cake bites, cookie dough, donuts(!!!) pie crust, actual pieces of apple pie, hot fudge, and marshmallow sauce. Wow. I was ashamed/super excited to indulge in the amazing sugar coma I had created, and my inner glutton was so proud. I will be definitely be back, and not a day too soon.
google avatar

Brittney R.

Yelp
The best yogurt shop ever!!!! Everything is truly amazing! It's clean and delicious. Staff is nice and the prices might seem high but you get your money's worth!
google avatar

Lillian C.

Yelp
3.5 Its main selling point is that it supposedly has the largest toppings bar of any froyo place in the US. That said, I don't need require any exotic toppings and am more than content with the selection at your typical froyo place such as Yogurtland, which happens to be 9 cents cheaper per ounce. Nonetheless, while indifferent to the variety of toppings, I appreciated the quality and freshness and thought the cleanliness of the place was unparalleled. They had a decent number of flavors to choose from, with chocolate custard, vanilla custard, strawberry, cappuccino, caramel, and banana being the more memorable ones. Sadly, the plain tart was too tart and icy and was rather disappointing. Overall, a very good place, but not mind-blowingly amazing.

Yelp
Mmmmmmmm, Anytime I'm in LA this is one of the 2 places I'm thinking of going to for a sweet treat. I love that this place has soooo many flavors and they are all pretty delicious. Every time I go I like to try a new flavor. I was amazed that the butter popcorn and cookie dough flavors tasted so true to the real thing. Not to mention the gazillion toppings they have. I knew this place was a winner when I noticed they had pretzel and m&m waffle cones. YUUM! But I'm a simple gal and chocolate is my preference. I usually top with the gummies and a couple pretzel cookies. Every topping I've tried in there has always been fresh. No stale hard gummies here thankfully. BTW they have the cutest spoons, shaped just right to make sure you can scrape and get every ounce of goodness in your cup.
