I attended a "Petite Pause" retreat in June and was blown away by the attention to detail and generosity of the staff, the food, the scenery- the whole experience was restorative and transformational. Tops'l Farm is the perfect place to unwind and be equal parts restored and inspired.

We had the pleasure of getting married at Tops'l Farm in early June, and it was an absolutely magical experience from start to finish! Sarah and her team were incredibly organized and a joy to work with. They ensured that every decision was finalized weeks before our big day, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the celebration. One of the highlights was having our friends and family stay on the property with us—it truly made the whole experience even more special. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious food and drinks served during both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. Everything was executed flawlessly, creating a warm and enjoyable atmosphere that made our day unforgettable. If you're considering Tops'l Farm for your wedding or any special event, we cannot recommend them highly enough. Their attention to detail and dedication to making your day perfect will make your celebration truly remarkable.

My husband and I got married at Tops'l Farm on August of 2024 and we cannot recommend the venue enough! The food, drinks, accommodations, staff, scenery, and hospitality were all superb. We had about 150 guests coming in from all over the country, and everyone had the most amazing time. Food: The food at Tops'l is SPECTACULAR. Tops'l catered both our rehearsal dinner and wedding, so I was exposed to a wide range of their work, and all I can say is... their chef, Bonnie, and her team are experts at crafting local, seasonal, delicious meals. Because of the size of our party, we chose to do family style plating for our reception, and it was such a hit with our guests. I was worried that family style would lead to some people not getting enough food, but the opposite was true. There was more than enough food to go around. They are also SO accommodating to allergies and dietary restrictions. I'm gluten free and Tops'l made sure I was able to taste and experience everything. Accommodation: We took over the full property and it felt like summer camp in the best way. Our friends who stayed in the A-frame cabins had so much fun and were super comfortable (even in a rainstorm!). My husband and I stayed in the Cottage which was incredibly cute but also very spacious, and our friends took over the Farmhouse and Cider House. It was so fun to have our favorite people onsite with us, and across the board, everyone had a wonderful time! Working with Tops'l: The people who work at Tops'l really made the experience so special. I was lucky enough to get to know much of their staff, and every single person I worked with was kind, thoughtful, and supportive. We had to make some last minute rain plans the week of the wedding (every bride's nightmare), and I felt instantly at ease once I got on the phone with Tops'l. They helped us figure out a plan B, and really rallied the troops to ensure we had the best weekend. Like any small (ish) wedding venue, they are still working out some of the kinks in the planning process, but everything ended up coming together beautifully. If you're looking for a Maine venue that feels authentic but not kitschy, elevated but not overly formal, warm, inviting, and beautiful, look no further!!

My husband Caleb & I feel so fortunate that we were able to host our recent wedding at Tops'l Farm. The entire weekend felt like magic, and the farm captured everything important to who we are as a couple - our sense of adventure, love of the outdoors, spending time with loved ones, and detail to great food and experiences! We found Sarah and the Tops'l team to be exceptional, detail-oriented, intentional, warm and helpful. From the beginning of the wedding planning process, we knew we were in the best of hands and were going to be able to plan and provide a unique and thoughtful experience that would bring together our loved ones in a unforgettable celebration. During the wedding weekend, our guests from all over the country gathered over the most delicious cocktails, meals, and warm fires, in a landscape of fresh lupines and flowers, baby sheep, lush trails and a scenic river. Our guests loved staying in the unique and dreamy accommodations at the A-Frame cabins, Cider House, and Farmhouse. Even with a bit of rain on our wedding day, we had the most fun, intimate, and loving day that we could have ever asked for. Our time at Tops'l felt thoughtfully supported and orchestrated, peaceful and relaxed, and the kind of effortless that you know only really comes with actual intense preparation and an amazing team. Many of our guests were a bit skeptical why we were bringing them out to mid coast Maine, but by the end of the weekend everyone was over the moon with the farm and the area. The vibes here are truly amazing and the farm was the perfect backdrop to our personalized dream weekend! Everything from the friendly and helpful staff, the incredible food and service, to the beautiful and immaculate grounds and lodging was truly top notch. Tops'l brought so many of our people from different walks of life together to have such a joyous and relaxed weekend that felt like a true reflection of us - and we are so grateful!

Tops’l was the perfect place for our wedding. Sarah and Josh have created the most magical slice of Maine. It was such a pleasure working with their entire team - Chef Bonnie, Chloe, Caleb, and many others - to make our weekend special. Tops’l offers such a unique experience having several lodging options for large gatherings: the Farmhouse, Cottage, Cider House and 11 A-Frame Cabins allowed our nearest and dearest to be present all weekend. Chef Bonnie and her team did an incredible job with all of the food which was locally sourced and delicious!! Many of our guests said it was the best dining experience they ever had at a wedding. We’re so glad we chose Tops’l and would do it all again in a heartbeat. We can’t wait to come back and visit !!

We had a micro-wedding here, and it was such a perfect weekend! Sarah and her team have such a great eye for detail, and thought through every little detail. All of the events of the weekend went so smoothly with no issues. The team was able to handle the long list of food allergies our party had with no issues at all. Our guests remarked on how amazing the houses were, and that it was the best food they had ever had a wedding! Thank you so much Sarah and team!

Tops’l Farm is truly the most magical venue to have a wedding. From the moment we locked eyes on this place we decided to book the full property for our wedding takeover. The team was responsive, helpful, and guided us every step of the way. Sarah and the team are the best in every way. We arrived for our weekend in the woods a couple days in advance and Chloe and the crew on were so helpful with setup. Tops’l lent us some gorgeous decor items such as bud vases, candle sticks, and rustic tables and chairs. The food and drink menu was impressive at first glance online and fully exceeded our expectations - Chef Ken whipped up some awesome dinners that looked equally as amazing as they tasted. If you’re looking for a glamping getaway with your closest family and friends this is the place. We knew we wanted the experience and our guests were able to stay on property and take advantage of the gorgeous setting. The cabins were perfectly curated with everything you need for your stay. The farmhouse was breathtaking and perfect for the bridal suite and gorgeous photos. Our guests are still raving about the great time they had and how they would visit again in a heartbeat. I could go on and on about how truly special our wedding at Tops’l Farm was, but you will just have to check it out for yourself!

Tops’l Farm is an amazing place to celebrate a wedding. We were planning our event from across the country, and actually booked Tops’l sight-unseen! Sarah and her team were extremely helpful and communicative during the booking process, had clear and thorough contracts, and worked well with our coordinator. Over the course of a year of planning, Tops’l was great about answering a million questions, creating detailed catering and bar quotes, and helping our guests book their lodging. By the week of the wedding, we were so excited to get to the venue and settle in with our families and friends. Between the cabins, the farmhouse, the cottage, and the Cider House, we were able to have almost all of our 50 guests stay right “on site” with us, which made for easy coordination for the whole weekend. The cabins are as cozy and cute as they look online, the property is impeccably maintained with thoughtful touches, and the whole staff was warm and welcoming. We felt cared for but not hovered over, and our guests had only good things to say. The evenings around the fire in the campground with our friends will be lifelong memories. And now – the food!! We were so excited about the menu we created with the Tops’l catering team, and everything was impeccable - truly the best wedding food we’ve ever had! The event barn was the perfect intimate space for our 50 guests, and every appetizer, main, and dessert that came out was better than the last. Our allergies and requests were accommodated, the wine list was fabulous, and we were glad to know that so much of the food was sourced locally. My only regret is that we didn’t have them do our breakfast catering too! We’re so glad to have found a venue that completely understood our goal of having a wedding weekend that didn’t feel rushed, where we could really enjoy time with our guests and share the best Maine has to offer - great food, beautiful scenery, dark skies, and warm hospitality. And we’re grateful to know we can come back to visit for all their lovely events throughout the year! Many thanks to the Tops’l team for helping us host a beautiful day that really felt like “us.”
