Tora Sumi Tattoo

Jay did my tattoo, he was amazing and even went above and beyond with the design and colour (which makes me love it even more) . It was my first tattoo and he made sure I was comfortable and talked me through the process so I wasn’t as nervous. He made sure it was not painful (which it wasn’t). Will be back again

Myself and two of my best friends got matching tattoos done by Mattia. I first reached out to Mattia after seeing the amazing photos of tattoos he has done on his social media page that I had come across when looking for an artist. That’s exactly what we found in Mattia he is a true artist his work is amazing. We gave him our design and what we were hoping for it to look like with the colour incorporated into it that has a meaning for us three and our friendship and what he created for us was amazing it blew our expectations completely. If you are looking for a tattoo studio where you will get some awesome tattoos I definitely recommend going and seeing the guys at Tora Sumi you definitely won’t be disappointed. The staff there are very welcoming and knowledgeable. The communication from Mattia and the staff was on point and a very positive experience overall. We were made feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. The studio is an amazing and unique place with true artists. We definitely will be returning for future tattoos with Mattia.

I have been going to Tora Sumi since 2015. Everyone at Tora Sumi is welcoming and its a comfortable environment listening to the buzz of conversation and artists at work. I have only had tatts done by the same artist however they have specialists that cover all types of styles you can think of! Reasonable pricing and a location that is quite easy to find. No negatives here! Highly recommend. 🤩

I first came to Jay back in 2017 when I got my first thigh piece done. Its lasted so well over the last 8 years that I asked Jay to help with another thigh piece for my big 30th birthday to myself. What can I say except I’ve been so ecstatic with Jay from the very beginning, he’s always down to discuss your ideas & add his own spin to them that just give them this extra bit of magic. He’s also always happy to do the weird, wonderful & downright hilarious, especially pop culture concepts. From the moment you’re in the door, staff make you feel welcome & relaxed, so whether its your first tattoo or your 20th, you’ll be left in awesome hands for whatever you want & you’ll be going back time & again. If you dont believe me, just know that I got 8 more tattoos done over the last two months at Tora Sumi only & now more than half my tattoos are done by Jay. Because thats how happy I’ve been with the stellar work & will be back for more soon. If you want a place that you’ll feel right at home in so you can have your permanent artwork displayed on your body by someone you know is going to look after you & make sure you get what you wanted (not to give Jay a big ego but he definitely exceeded my expectations & brought to life so many pieces in the exact way I envisioned. I got my first tattoo with the Tora Sumi studio, and Eduardo was my artist. The studio was clean, and each artist had decorated their small section with their own art and tattoo designs. I could see cleaning materials neatly set out at each station. The person at the front desk was upbeat and kind, and gave excellent customer service. Eduardo clearly has a high standard for his art. He printed multiple slightly different lengths of the sword to find the ideal size. After talking with him for a bit, I felt very confident leaving the final design in his hands. I was initially thinking of getting a black linework tattoo, but after mentioning colour and seeing his face light up, and his beautiful botanical art on the wall, I was really happy to get colour on the botanics in my tattoo. During the three and a half hour process we took a few breaks, and Eduardo made me feel very comfortable to initiate the breaks when and if I felt I needed them. I got to stop to have a look at it right before the colour time, and even without the colour it looked incredible. With the colour? Even better. He has managed to do a beautiful piece of botanical art, capturing key characteristics of the plant I wanted incorporated into the tattoo. The final piece looks better than I imagined it would. Moreover, the sword is very straight, and we all know straight lines are a pain in the arse to do, much more so on skin. It's been a week now since receiving the tattoo. There were no healing complications. Huge shoutout to Eduardo for this beautiful tattoo. I am incredibly pleased, and once I work out what I would like next, I will definitely be seeing if he's got room in his schedule to do the tattoo.

Just back from a fresh addition today and it was the best experience Ive ever had. Clean, friendly, reasonable and incredibly awesome at their work. Thank you for my favourite tattoo Matt, you are an absolute legend

Best. Artist. Ever!! I have two tattoos from Jemka and both are incredible. She takes the time to really understand what you want and delivers with such detail and perfection. Jemka is so easy going and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you meet her. I recommend everyone get a piece done by the super talented Jemka. You will love it ♥️ I follow everyone in the shop and love their work. Everyone there is wonderful, friendly and kind. I love going to Tora Sumi.
