The place is a bit too popular and there is a queue even on a week day. The experience is also a bit rushed, but it is a nice cafe especially for traditional yokan lovers.

We were not impressed by the dessert menu and the long queue so decided to just buy sweets in their main shop. The shop is very well designed, good visibility over sweets and had plastic models to see how each would look like outside package. The shop also included a special exhibition explaining Japanese methods of preserving food - very pretty and informative. Staff were very friendly and polite, and can speak English very well. We really enjoyed our time buying these sweets. The sweets themselves were a bit too sweet for us, but might suit those with a sweet tooth!

Great traditional dessert! Love the way it's done and the taste is amazing. But a little expensive though.

Traditional Japanese desserts 🍧🫘🌰Battalion suggestions: add ice cream or shaved ice to the desserts

There is the Shop where you can buy Wagashi, the Salon de Thé where you can sit and enjoy Toraya's products and macha, and the exhibition space dedicated to traditional art craft items in Japanese and English. This time is was about the history and traditions of Chopsticks holders. Super friendly staff.
