Torch Lake

Beautiful lake. There are two different where you can access the water. One had a dock where you can park the boats. There are some shops and restaurant around it for souvenirs and good food. Weather was great so we had a really good time here. There is also a private side of the beach which you book for events.

Beautiful lake with crystal clear water and with a small park at the shore! We didn’t had time to hire a boat and spend a day at boat and sand bars. If one has extra days, this could be an activity to include.

Pictures can't describe this place. It truly is the most beautiful water. The water is very comparable to the Caribbean. Just a little colder.

Beautiful and clean. I’ve only been once but would love to go back. I didn’t go to any beach while there so I don’t know what they are like.

You can't beat this lake. Clear water and a big sandbar for folks to hang out and enjoy the water.

Such beautiful waters!! We had never seen anything that clear! Enjoyed boating around the lake and the others adjacent to it. Not many public docks that we could find if you need bathroom breaks and they aren't well marked so plan ahead and try to find any docking points you need. If you want to fish head more towards Clam Lake near the Grass river, beautiful views there too with far fewer houses.

Michigan's 2nd largest inland lake. Very beautiful and serene. Sandbars are a great place to visit. Hiking and canoeing are things you can do here apart from fishing. Can visit when in the Traverse city area Try exploring the Rapid River area as well
