We came here because it was highly recommended by our host. We tried to book twice but it was always fully reserved, and only managed to get a table after a last-minute cancellation — so expectations were high. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The service felt extremely rushed and transactional — our food arrived in under 5 minutes, and it didn’t feel freshly prepared. We followed the recommendations and ordered the beef with mashed potatoes and the white ragù veal. Both dishes were just okay, definitely not worth the price. We were in and out in about 30 minutes, which is not what you expect in Italy, where meals are usually about quality and experience. Overall, for what we paid, it felt underwhelming and not memorable. Would not recommend.

The hype is real! Apart from having delicious food, the service and atmosphere in this restaurant is exceptional and unique. The ambience and decor are brilliant to look at and food is served with passion. We were so full that we opted for no dessert but we were still provided with some delicacies on the house.

We ate at Torcolo last night and it was amazing! Beautiful atmosphere, kind, patient and helpful staff and the most incredible food! We had their famous pasta with truffles, the boiled meat and grilled octopus - all were incredible. The staff does a lovely job explaining the menu…just an overall incredible experience!!

Went here for lunch with my partner. Very cosy and chic restaurant, service was great, and my partner particularly liked the Versace plates. We only ordered the truffle pasta and the white veal ragu, both of which were amazing. There was the added bonus of a (very) small starter and a selection of cakes for dessert.

We stopped at Hotel Torcolo restaurant (not the hotel) and really enjoyed it. It looks a bit chaotic at first – lots of people, busy atmosphere – but don’t let that fool you. The food quality is great! I had lamb chops with truffles – delicious. Even with all the hustle, service was fast, friendly, and professional. Also a very nice wine list. A great spot if you want good food in the middle of the buzz.

Come here if you love rich and creamy and truffly pasta! The truffle pasta is amazing: cheesy aromatic, pasta is soft not too al dente. They came with more truffle and put more on it was delicious wow. Also enjoyed the complimentary tomatoe soup meat ball. Great selection of house bread. The complimentary dessert was nice which five different types, just a bit too sweet.

Google
The worst food I’ve had in Italy in recent years! Stale ingredients (lobster in the pasta), terrible presentation (risotto with a treble clef), and no flavor at all in the kids’ Bolognese pasta. They even charge €3.50 per person just for the “privilege” of being served on Versace plates. Feels like a typical tourist trap with sky-high prices! I strongly recommend avoiding it!

We had a great last dinner here in Verona! All the staff were kind and welcoming, patient and helpful. We loved the decor and elegance of the restaurant and the food was phenomenal! One of our party said it was the best lamb they’ve ever had!

Yelp
When you first walk in, it's everything you think of for a quaint, Italian restaurant. You know the food was great because it was jampacked inside. I love the place settings with the Versace plates, and the faux plants and flowers hanging from the ceiling to create a nice ambience for dinner.

Yelp
Lovely interior. Cozy and wow the tray of special desserts that come with the meal were fabulous and the ice cream comes in a huge sherbet glass. The pasta was amazing and good service. Great Bellini's and no rush to leave. Great place to catch up with friends

Yelp
We dined here because some people we met earlier in our trip told us they'd eaten at Tortola 2 nights in a row! It was delicious (but we only opted for one night) Excellent vibe in the patio dining area, and everything we ordered was delicious. There was an eggplant appetizer that was one of the highlights, and the truffle pasta was a decadent caloric splurge (I was glad my partner and I shared that plus his dish (tuna with crispy leeks). We were too full for dessert though they look great. Even if you decline dessert they'll present you with a ridiculously large platter of bite sized sweet treats (a nice gesture but they were all too sweet and not necessary on top of the great dinner flavors).

Yelp
Very stylish and nice personnel, although good service the food was mediocre at most and really overpriced... You can find much better and cheaper restaurants in Verona city center if you look around a while. If your priorities are on how the restaurant looks, this could be a great option, and the food is ok but not what it could be.

Yelp
One of the best Italian restaurant i ever been everything is fancy and rich, their Tortellini in Brodo are absolutely tasteful, il lesso (boiled meats) is fantastic with the "pearà" and the "salsa verde" or "cren" (horseradish) is a must and goes perfectly with the "cotechino" (boiled pork sausage) I can't wait to go back to try more of their dishes! The wine they have are the best you can find, the Amarone (typical women from the area) is absolutely one of the best choice but they have a huge selection of wine in their personal "cantina". Guys if you are in Verona you MUST go and try this place is for sure a great experience

Yelp
We showed up on a busy Saturday night without reservations, but were kindly given a lovely table for two inside. We had a cheerful and attentive waiter who brought extra plates on the dishes we shared (because we don't like to overeat, we often order an appetizer to share, our own first plates, a second plate to share, and a dessert to share ... and a bottle of wine to share). My thick spaghetti with basil sauce was the best pasta I tasted in our two weeks in Italy, and the beef in wine sauce really did cut like butter. A wonderful meal just off Piazza Bra!

Yelp
Terrific regional food and wine served up in a family-run atmosphere. More reasonably priced than I expected. Steps from the arena, and fast service, so it was perfect for a pre-concert dinner. Only odd point was the muzak, which reminded me of a bygone era. Would definitely return.
