We live in Manhattan and have traveled to Peru 🇵🇪 multiple times. We know good Peruvian food when we taste it. This restaurant serves Peruvian cuisine at the same level as the famous Peruvian Chef Gaston Acurio. What a present surprise 😮 our compliments to the chef and the staff. A special shout out to Paolo and our mixologist Raesyel.

One of the best dining experience I’ve had in Kuala Lumpur. The room soars in height but the lighting could be better. Soft table lights and intimate atmosphere lighting would be ideal. It’s a bit bright. The food however, needs no further refinement. It is absolutely delicious from dishes to dishes, from appetizers to main course to desserts. Was sad to learn that the creative and masterful chef who’s responsible for the incredible menu has left the restaurant. What a great loss to Torito. The owners of this establishment and hotel clearly don’t understand the importance of this amazing chef nor deserve such a talented chef after choosing to let him go a competitive restaurant. He’s talent cannot be match by another. We enjoyed every dish that he has created leaving behind a legacy of his own.

A new gem on the KL culinary scene where the food is as great as the view, where the service is warm, vibes are chilled and Chef Ivo, who patiently waited a year for his pride and joy to be born, shines brightly through with cuisine that bursts with flavour, freshness, passion and love! Started with Chef’s signature Cevice and it was simply delicious with flavours bouncing off the taste buds. Savory, sweet, spicy, texture and freshness all dancing around the palette at the same time to be finished off at the last moment with a touch of spice. The scallops were Devine, the sushi sedap and the tenderloin beef eaten with the marinated boiled and roasted potato simply mouthwatering. Save space for the cream caramel dessert - the vanilla flavour from the Madagascan vanilla is so smooth and concentrated that you will be doing sweet cartwheels of joy. High quality ingredients that are super fresh, made with love and national pride enjoyed with the perhaps the best views in town, make Torito a sure fire winner. Portions are generous and the prices extremely fair given the quality, service and experience - so this restaurant has it all. We only enjoyed a small part of the menu and with Chef Ivo’s extensive menu creations, it will not be long before we return for a continuation of this wonderful culinary journey 🤩🥰 This place is a winner - simply Excellent!!!

It’s on level 53 of the Banyan Tree hotel in KL. Restaurant open at 6. Initially Restuarant was a bit warm n stuffy n I requested restaurant staff to lower temperature, and they somehow fix it . We ordered variety of appetisers to share , must order includes cassava bread with butter , tuna roll , ceviche with raw fish in a tangy marinate ( they call it Tiger’s milk) was tasty and refreshing . We got sharing rice dishes in a sizzling hot iron cast pan, resembling some form of paella . It’s on the heavy side and personally I found the rice a bit wet. Shout out to, you come here for the amazing view of KL tower n plaza 118.

I’m from Peru, currently living in Australia. I hadn’t had Peruvian food for more than two and a half years, and when I came here and tried the ceviche, it instantly took me back to my childhood it was incredible! I also had the pleasure of meeting the chef, which made me so happy. I’m so proud of his work. Excellent customer service, food 10/10, and the views were amazing. I definitely recommend this place!

Went there twice in June’25 for my birthday and joining a friend for the dinner. The edamame is really unique (my pick) and my friend said the steak ‘char’ taste was good. The rest are not bad and it is probably down to personal preference. Price will vary on the type of food you order. View is really nice and the seatings are very comfortable. It’s better to make a reservation so you can get a window seat.

I went to Torito with high expectations for my birthday with my family. Entering the restaurant, we greeted very well by the staff and the ambiance was great. However the food was quite underwhelming. Only the scallops (hot appetiser) and the king prawns (big plate) were a stand out for me personally; the rest was quite mediocre. And our waitress was sweet but as she was serving my mom a piece of the bread, she dropped it on the table 3 times, continuously 😅
