Toro Toro Sushi and Poke

Got the taste for 2 box, 40 pieces for $80+tax, to go. The place is cafeteria style so you order at the front and find a seat yourself. I took my food home instead instead of paying for parking. It took only 15 mins to prepare the food so it's pretty quick The box looks good and arrangement is definitely picture worthy. The sashimi isn't the freshest I've had. The rest is super saucy so it covers the taste of the fish. I'd prefer to actually taste the fish at this price point. There's also a lot of rice for the aburi, and a decent amount of rice for the other rolls. The summer rolls (rice paper wrap) were really chewy and not a lot of flavor. The soy sauce is also more sweet instead of salty so that's different. Overall, it's worth a try but I didn't love it. It's good for people who don't like the taste of raw fish and want to eat sushi

We order sushi from Toro Toro almost every week, and it’s without a doubt the best sushi I’ve ever had. The quality is absolutely incredible — everything tastes so fresh and delicious. We usually order on weekends, and honestly, I get excited just thinking about it. You can tell how much care they put into every detail, from the beautifully presented food to the thoughtful packaging. I’m a huge fan! 🍣💛

I think this place focuses more on the sauces overpowering all the flavour, you can't really taste the fish or the umami of the rice. Everything is drenched in mayo based sauces. Good if you like that kind of sushi, I avoid however avoid the stomach ache, unless u scrape off some of the sauces.

I visited Toro Toro with a friend to celebrate a birthday, and from the moment we stepped in, the experience was great. The interior design is beautifully done both stylish and welcoming. While the service is self-serve meaning you place and pick up the order yourself, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. When I placed my order, they took the time to clarify each question I had about the ingredients, which I really appreciated. We ordered the tasting for two box, and they made it halal for me. The food was outstanding! Easily some of the best sushi I’ve had in Mississauga. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and full of flavour. The portion size was perfectly satisfying without being overfilling. My friend and I had a great time, and I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality meal, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just in the mood for some good food. Parking can be a bit tricky, but there is underground parking available nearby. All in all, a fantastic dining experience.

My daughter went in dressed as Rumi… the staff were AMAZING.. they greeted her as Rumi.. played the Kpop Demon Hunters songs while we were there &&& asked for an autograph on our way out from Rumi. My daughter was over the moon how “everyone” recognized her. Food is obviously ALWAYS on point. Quality and taste always superb.

DO NOT TIP, EMPLOYEES DO NOT GET THE MONEY Recently I went to this location to try their food with my girlfriend. The sushi was great however as I was paying I jokingly asked the person at the cashier that they got their tips. They shyly told me no they do not. I then asked for a refund since if it's not going to the workers that are doing the work I'd rather not tip the owner. They told me since I had already paid there was nothing I could do. I asked for a manager and was kinda brushed off by them. I work in service as well and what this business is doing, stealing tips is frankly illegal and should be reported by staff to the Ministry of Labour. Sushi was good at least. Buyers beware though, not sure what other shady practices they are doing. It’s a shame since I thought the sushi and experience were good despite this.

Found this place on Uber Eats first. The package and food taste and quality were so impressive, so we decided to try in-person. We are still super impressed with them. It feels like their food makes my soul and body super happy and healthy.Totally worth it.

The first time I ordered through UberEats from this restaurant, the food was excellent—I was genuinely impressed with the quality. Unfortunately, my experience tonight through UberEats was very different. The karaage chicken was mostly fat, which made it unpleasant to eat. The butterfish nigiri wasn’t trimmed properly and contained connective tissue, which was equally disappointing. When I tried to call and share my concerns, I reached a message saying they couldn’t answer and their voicemail was full. It’s a stark contrast to my first order, and it shows inconsistency in both food preparation and customer service. Based on this experience, I’ll think twice before ordering again.
