Toro Toro Sushi and Poke

We order sushi from Toro Toro almost every week, and it’s without a doubt the best sushi I’ve ever had. The quality is absolutely incredible — everything tastes so fresh and delicious. We usually order on weekends, and honestly, I get excited just thinking about it. You can tell how much care they put into every detail, from the beautifully presented food to the thoughtful packaging. I’m a huge fan! 🍣💛

I visited Toro Toro with a friend to celebrate a birthday, and from the moment we stepped in, the experience was great. The interior design is beautifully done both stylish and welcoming. While the service is self-serve meaning you place and pick up the order yourself, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. When I placed my order, they took the time to clarify each question I had about the ingredients, which I really appreciated. We ordered the tasting for two box, and they made it halal for me. The food was outstanding! Easily some of the best sushi I’ve had in Mississauga. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and full of flavour. The portion size was perfectly satisfying without being overfilling. My friend and I had a great time, and I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality meal, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just in the mood for some good food. Parking can be a bit tricky, but there is underground parking available nearby. All in all, a fantastic dining experience.

DO NOT TIP, EMPLOYEES DO NOT GET THE MONEY Recently I went to this location to try their food with my girlfriend. The sushi was great however as I was paying I jokingly asked the person at the cashier that they got their tips. They shyly told me no they do not. I then asked for a refund since if it's not going to the workers that are doing the work I'd rather not tip the owner. They told me since I had already paid there was nothing I could do. I asked for a manager and was kinda brushed off by them. I work in service as well and what this business is doing, stealing tips is frankly illegal and should be reported by staff to the Ministry of Labour. Sushi was good at least. Buyers beware though, not sure what other shady practices they are doing. It’s a shame since I thought the sushi and experience were good despite this.

Found this place on Uber Eats first. The package and food taste and quality were so impressive, so we decided to try in-person. We are still super impressed with them. It feels like their food makes my soul and body super happy and healthy.Totally worth it.

I want to give the food a higher rating, but for the price I paid, I think its feels more like medium quality food fish, layered in many sauces in in a glorified fancy package. So for the price, if you prefer colourful fusion sushi, this is for you But if you are looking for quality fishes, this is definitely not it And I think for this reason, I was disappointed

BUGS IN FOOD. I wanted to like this place. But unfortunately, there was a bug or maggot in my shrimp and lobster poke bowl. I would be aware if you choose to eat here, because there might be bugs in your food. Although we got a refund (which is appreciated), I would not come back here, because their hygiene standards don’t seem to be good. I found the bug midway through the bowl, it was gross.

Food was fantastic, as always. The sharing box is a great deal for such high quality fish. The service is always so fast even with long lines. Always recommend this place!

The food is amazing. Would suggest staff to ask customers on arrival if we have dined there before, and provide a quick explanation to those who have not. My family of 6 showed up and was advised we could sit anywhere. We picked a nice spot by the window. Did not realize it is take out style and we were waiting for service for some time. Anyways, the staff are kind and food is bomb. $1.50/hour for parking, which I prefer as I never have trouble finding a spot.
