Google
Cozy restaurant with a 360 degrees view over the city / sea. If you are looking for something special, this is the place to go. I want to start from the service 10/10. The staff is amazing, always there to help you and very very kind. There is menu a la carte or testing. We went for the testing menu and everything was delicious. Highly recommended!

Google
The restaurant is located in a very nice place with views on the city, but the service lacked as they were not attentive and the food was not at the highest level. For the money, the food is not at the same level.

Amazing ambience, all around windows to see the beach and landscape. The tuna, and razor starters are great! The waiter named Jesus was really nice to us!

First of all, i have to say that they don’t deserve Michelin Star.. We went for our wedding anniversary. We liked so much this restaurants view.. But i can not say the same thing for service and food.. Food is avarage, waiters are unprofessional.. We surprised about it..They are always forgot what they took an order, always confused about orders..One tables orders going another’s table, and the other one’s to other’s…another suprising thing; waiters shirts all wrinkled. Restaurant management is obviously very incompetent..

Google
First time here. Really good restaurant with beautiful views of the city (Coast area and some parts of the city), good food. Customer service is great too. More into the “expensive” side of things. Make sure to make a reservation!

Amazing views from all Barcelona. Great service, tasty food, thanks to Jordi for making us feel like at home we will come back for sure

Yelp
This restaurant is worth going to in Barcelona. We got the prefix tasting menu and paid before hand. There was an issue trying to reserve through their website AND it seemed unorganized as they didn't have the reservation code through their system and made us find it to confirm. But once that was done the view, the wine, and the food were great! Lauren our waitress was amazing and we appreciated her attentiveness throughout dinner. We were served several courses and the meal offered a wide variety of unique but tasty food combinations! If you are a foodie and enjoy trying new things definitely come her

Yelp
Views were amazing! Restaurant located at the top of the cable car tower. Food was just ok. I ordered the sea bass and revived something else entirely. Bread and service was excellent. Recommend if you want to see Ariel views of the city. Just know you are paying for the views- food was hit and miss. Menu could be laid out better- labeling apps vs meals.

Yelp
I ordered lobster cannelloni which was awful so told the waiter....he called a manager who suggested other dishes. I chose one and when the bill came it included both meals. I queried this and they said I ordered both so needed to pay, I reiterated that the manager encouraged me to order why am I being charged for 2 meals they said they wouldn't remove Also they charged an additional 20 euros in error for wine The food was appalling and so was the service The views were great however I would not recommend, there are great restaurants between W and Pacha, great tasty choices. Dont waste money. My bill for 2 was over 200 euros. Big disappointment

Yelp
We had a reservation at this highly recommended Michelin Star restaurant. Presentation of food was beautiful but flavor was lacking. I ordered the sea bass and the skin was fried but not crispy as expected. The omelet that came with it was very fishy! We were expecting to be impressed by the view and we were until we noticed the window where we were seated was dirty, gray and dusty compared to the other windows; and realized that our table did not have a table linen like the other tables. Our table was like a cafeteria table... did not look elegant at all. We asked the restaurant manager why we didn't have linen on our table and our window being dirty and instead of apologizing, he said "I don't know why", and said it with irritated tone. When you are given a Michelin star, there is a level of expectations that should be met and this place did not meet those expectations... not from food, and neither from their service. Even the view did not make up for their lacking!

Yelp
Wow! The spectacular city view of Barcelona and its surrounding ocean was a sight to see from this Torre d'Alta Mar which means High Sea Tower. This fine dining experience was to die for because each dish was elegantly prepared and perfected for a simple yet subtle tastes of fresh seafood. We got the 10 course meal with wine pairing. Each dish had its own explosive yet refreshing taste. For instance, the tempura fried cod was fried so evenly and the batter was so crunchy and soft like snowflakes that melted in your mouth. The truffle scallops was so refined and had subtle tastes. Oh and the desserts were so orgasmic! Yes, the whole experience from friendly servers to scenic views and food tasting was so divine - I was definitely in heaven for three and a half hours that I was there!

Yelp
Fabulous weather and fabulous views but very very long lines and the cable cars are rather slow, so be prepared to wait for a long while. However, if you are traveling with friends, they can hold your place while you go gallivanting from window to window snapping pictures! Muy Bien ~!

Yelp
We showed not with booking reservation but lucky to secure a table for two at this highly recommended restaurant. Unfortunately the lunch menu only available at specific days, and ended up ordering three plates of appetiser. We gave an Ace for the view and food presentation, and C for the flavour. Over price, over promise but under delivered.

Yelp
Come for the absolutely breathtaking view of beautiful Barcelona, stay for the Michelin star level experience. My husband and I did the chef's tasting menu with the wine pairings. The plates were works of art, and tasted even better than they looked. The service was impeccable. Every course that was brought to us was described in great detail. They were also incredibly generous with the wine pairings; letting us revisit or top-off any of our favorites. This was the most impressive dining experience I have ever had. Highly highly recommend.

Yelp
Amazing view and great service! Spent a special evening here. Food , music and ambiance was excellent. Our cava glasses were never empty and each course was served with great presentation. The glass elevator that takes you up the tower itself is spectacular and when you are on top of the tower overlooking the water on one side and the city on the other side ( we had a corner table with panoramic views) it is like a different world. Oh and it is way less touristy than Jules Verne ( atop the Eiffel Towers) and way more personal in terms of service.

Yelp
Took my boyfriend here for his birthday while we were visiting Barcelona, and the view was amazing, the service however left much to be desired. It took our waiter awhile to finally ask us for our order, and then there were so many people that came by, while our waiter was MIA, you really didn't know who to ask for what. I had the sea bass, which was excellent, perfectly cooked and seasoned, boyfriend had the beef medallions which were just ok. Which was a bummer since it was his birthday. Overall beautiful restaurant, but the service really was horrible, and the servers seemed to be much more attentive to the needs of other tables. I definitely wouldn't go back. There are too many great restaurants in Barcelona to deal with one with poor service. And I think the W hotel still has them beat outside of Mountjic for best view of the city!

Yelp
It is a surprising restaurant at the top of the teleferic tower near the beach. We went there for a special occasion on a Thursday night - definitely needed a reservation. The restaurant is small, with an excellent view of Barcelona and its beach at night. Good service, a little pretentious but they lets us take our time for our dinner. The food is generally good and somehow creative. Portions are small. We started with what was listed as an octopus salad with "colored lentils and potato marbles" - essentially, it was four pieces of octopus well-cooked (which is not really my preference), with a few scattered lentils and four tiny potatoes. We continued with the veal with stuffed zucchini flowers (stuffing was creamy mushrooms) and the Bluefish & seafood catalan stew. The veal was undercooked (although we did ask foe medium well) and the bluefish was very fishy/salty and it felt heavy. The wine list is quite nice, but they have a very limited selection of wines by the glass (one type of red, two white, one rose, one champagne). Dessert: we went with the "Alaska Volcano" (meringue on top of chocolate cake tarts and ginger cream) and a glass of Sauternes. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but for the price and its reputation it didn't meet expectations.

Yelp
The food was quite good - the view was spectacular. The presentation of their food was also quite noteworthy. The smoked pork came covered under a glass dome, which when lifted, smoke wafted out. Their violet mousse and yogurt cake dessert was also one of the most beautifully presented desserts I've ever seen - quite tasty too. I'd say that there was bit of an unnecessary markup/premium for the view though. I've had just as good, if not better, food elsewhere in Barcelona for 1/3 less than we paid here. No complaints about the food or service though.

Yelp
If you want to experience the view from up in the tower and the romantic settings this is the place. I knew the prices were quite high for so little and not savory food. At the beginning I asked the pseudo waiter for the menu, he just told me to wait...I said I did not want to wait I wanted to see the menu, so another lady, the one that greeted us brought us the menu which was right on the service table in front of us, that means that he was not allowed to show us the menu for some weird reason. Then another guy pretentious looking and presumably being our waiter asked us if we were ready...it was not even 2 minutes since I started looking at the menu. I then ordered the Lluc del Cantabrico and the Suquet de Rap and a water. After ordering, the other pseudo waiter brought us a mini cream of mushroom (which we did not order) and I hate mushrooms so I told him to take it away, he said it was compliment from the house and that nothing happened if we were to drink it but anyways I told him to take it away. Then came the fish dishes we ordered, it did not wow me. One plate was too salty and the other was ok but just 2 little pieces of fish with 4 little pieces of potato. For me it was just common food and nothing out of the ordinary neither fancily plate decorated. After finishing I right away asked for the bill, I did not want other foods being brought to me without ordering. To my surprise the lady that greeted us was very nice and sang me a small version of the happy birthday song and nice enough to bring me a tiny piece of chocolate cake and 4 tiny pieces of some cookies. Then I was given the bill and noticed that the 2 Cream of Mushroom Apetizers were charged at 5.50Eur each which we returned. Normally this is their trick into getting you to pay kind of a cover charge but it was clearly written 2 (PA I Aperitius) so that meant Apetizers for me which I did not consume and returned, before going to this restaurant I read in Trip Advisor about this appetizer scam so this is why I turned it away. I was not giving a hard time to the waiter as they do not know if the customer has any allergies to mushrooms. I was just in my right to get my point across and the principle but not for the price. In any case it was fishy when he told me that it was on the house because you would think by charging so much per plate something else has to be included like a salad or soup like a normal restaurant...but it turns out that "on the house" means it will be charged in the bill! If you don't take a clear look at your bill then you will fall in their appetizer scam. In conclusion, if you want to splurge and do not care about the food and service quality then this is the right place as only only the view and the nice lady in the front desk were nice, the rest...do not get your expectations high on this restaurant.

George S.

Yelp
It didn't live up to our expectations. A restaurant pretending to be which is not. The view of the city is not as astonishing as advertised, and it does not justify the high prices of the meals, small portions and not savory food, for which we paid more than 100 € each. You can find the same food quality or even much better at lower prices in many of the restaurants of the city. Special mention for the poor service, in particular the guy who is at the ground level door, showing a lack of professionalism and bad manners, inadequate for a restaurant which pretends to be world class, but it is not. I will not return ever. Not to be recommended at all.

David R.

Yelp
Food was ok, not speculator for the very high prices charged. If you go, it's for the view and not the food. There was a cover charge of about $7 per person in addition to the high priced dinners. This is mostly a tourist resturant.

Yelp
Our company treated us to a trip of a lifetime to visit Barcelona. I booked this restaurant for our big company dinner of 50 people since it was a close walking distance to our hotel at the W. I read reviews that said the restaurant offered spectacular views of the city, but I was skeptical on the food and service as it had mixed reviews. When arriving to the restaurant I noticed the front area lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. I believe they allow people to smoke in the front area lobby of the restaurant since it is a long elevator ride to reach the outside. This is a turnoff to me! I don't want to smell smoke while walking into a nice restaurant. The restaurant has stained black carpet all throughout. I was also not impressed with the shabby white chairs or furnishings either. It just didn't fit the fine dining standards that this restaurant is trying to advertise. I was greeted by a man who I assume was the manager. He didn't offer his name, a smile or any type of friendly gesture. He escorted me to the area where our group would be held and quickly left. The servers had the same rude attitude! They did not advise any of the guests about what they were serving. They would just plop random dishes on the table and quickly walk away. If someone from our party did have a chance to ask the server what the dish was, they gave dirty looks and quickly muttered the dish with attitude. I think that they should have provided some kind of paper menu to each person describing the dishes that would be served, especially because this restaurant serves very unique dishes that you may not recognize without asking. When our guests would try to order a cocktail, which was a separate charge it would take forever for it to be served. This was our menu served to the group: Cream of mushroom with sweet potato - good but it was served in a very tiny glass. Jamón and Catalan tomato bread - delicious 60 deg egg with wagyu blood sausage - it was a bit strange. The sausage was good, but it was a very small piece. The egg created a soup consistency for the dish and it had this stringy stuff that tasted fishy with it. Octopus - I didn't like it at all. Very fishy taste but I also received some good feedback from others. Seafood rice with prawn - I didn't care for the rice. It looked like paella in a small bowl with a single prawn on top. Black and white scallops - it was good. Scallops were a little fishy for my taste, but had positive feedback from others. Fancy plate and everything was edible. Beef - excellent. Cooked to perfection. Dessert - it looked just like a real egg made with thin chocolate. When you broke it the inside oozed with what appeared to be yoke and egg whites made from lemon and mango. It was cool! As the dessert was being served the manager called me over to the side. He rudely advised that our group was being overly loud and causing problems for other surrounding guests. We were 50 people scrunched in a small section of the restaurant. I was advised when making the booking that we would have black curtains blocking off our group, which would help with privacy. The curtains were never closed!! We paid 200 euro per person to hold this dinner and was advised that we would have 2/3 of the restaurant. You would think the managers and staff would have gone above and beyond to make sure our group was comfortable and our needs were fulfilled. I strongly do not recommend anyone to book a group reservation at this restaurant. They do not cater well to large groups. They are not personable. They do not go the extra mile to make your dining experience unique. We will not be back and I will not recommend!!

Yelp
Definitely a must do for romantic dining in Barcelona. We spent the day clubbing on Barcaloneta beach and then took a rickshaw to dinner. The views are stunning. The most beautiful sunset I've ever watched. The food was excellent, much better than I expected, and after everything I heard it was much cheaper than I expected.

Yelp
Late review: we chose this restaurant since it was walking distance from the W that we were staying at. The restaurant is at the top of a tower that serves as a cable car stop in the day. As you can imagine, it has a great view as such. Great seafood (prawns!) and matching wine list. Service was fantastic, staff very gracious even though we spoke no Spanish.

Katelyn H.

Yelp
the view is amazing but that's about it. they gave us appetizer soups that were supposedly "on the house" yet charged us 5.5 euro each. then our appetizer was the prawns and on the menu it said 25 euro for the prawns. when we got our bill it said the prawns cost 25 euro per 100g and they gave us 190g and did not ask or tell us until we got the bill and were confused. we both got fish as our main course and one was overlooked and one was undercooked. both portions of fish were small and the dishes didn't come out as the menu said. they did serve good drinks and the view was nice but that's where the good things about this place ended.

Tom K.

Yelp
Amazing food. Friendly people great view. While it is a bit pricey the value was excellent. The prefix menu offered a great survey of catalin food.

Yelp
Of all the restaurants I ate at in Barcelona, this has the most breathtaking view of the waterway. I was there with colleagues and all the food they brought out was fabulous!
