There’s so much to see and a lot of fascinating insight into the island’s history. I spent a few hours walking around and even got to watch people doing live excavations, which was really interesting.Make sure to bring a bottle of water — it’s an open area with little shade. the car park is very small.

Most people travel to Menorca for the gorgeous coves and the sun. But a visit to this archaeological site is highly recommended. The biggest talaiotic settlement with very well preserved examples of homes from different periods to appreciate the progress of the culture and way of life. Interesting engineering features like the water conduction and storage system. The closest to a prehistoric metropolis in the area housing up to 1000 people at its peak. A guided visit is highly recommended to fully appreciate the site. They conduct them in English, french, catalan, and Spanish.

A fascinating site full of history! Torre d'en Galmés is one of the most impressive examples of ancient Menorca. There are plenty of spectacular prehistoric structures to explore, and it really gives you a sense of how people lived here thousands of years ago. Definitely worth a visit if you're interested in archaeology or the island's cultural heritage.

An impressive site with very old house type in stone. It's free for all on Monday. Can be pretty hot even if there are many olive trees. Several caves can be visited, sometime just follow the tracks. Many informations are available close to each structures.

An incredible place. Once you arrive at the tiny car park you can see the edge of the village, town. There are English written information points dotted throughout the area which help you to appreciate how old and impressive this place is. It is well worth a visit to get a feeling of what it would have been like to live on Menorca 2000+ years ago. Bonus tip, go on a Monday and it is a free visit as they don't charge you!!

Incredible, impressive, enormous complex of Talayotic structures, basically houses of large stones and incredible construction. Unbelievable how sophisticated this all was for so many years BC with so little tools as it seems. Be prepared to bring sun cream and hat on sunny days, most of it is out in the open field. There is a parking lot for about 15 cars (estimate). Lots to walk and lots to explore for kids as well (find the holes, caves and houses and pointing arrows).
