Torri ta’ Mġarr ix-Xini

Another Maltese cultural treasure set in another coastal location. This tower lacks easy automobile access and one will need to walk. The trail from Victoria and Xewkija can be hard to find (or easy to lose) as of March 2025, but it is well worth the effort.

Just 10mins walk from the Mgarr ix-Xini beach/bay. Nice view of opposite cliffs and bay. Tower was closed (May-Saturday). Interesting stairs with the lifted bridge.

Beautiful, easy walk which is quieter then most places

Beautiful walk from Xatt l-Ahmar. Tower quite dilapidated. Needs work!

Remote spot. Locked, but draw bridge and stone stairs are cool. Also a shady place to rest after the goat trail.
