Tosei Hotel Cocone Ueno

I had a lovely stay at Tosei Hotel Cocone Ueno. The location is fantastic — just a short walk from Ueno Station and close to convenience stores, restaurants, and shopping. It’s very convenient for exploring Tokyo or catching the train to other areas.The room was compact but very clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom amenities were good quality. It’s clear the hotel pays attention to cleanliness and detail.The staff were polite, friendly, and always willing to help — I really appreciated their warm service. I also liked the little touches, such as free coffee in the lobby and a peaceful, modern atmosphere throughout the hotel.The only thing to note is that the room size is quite small, which is normal in Tokyo — but if you travel light, it’s not a problem at all.Overall, a great value for money stay in a convenient location. I’d definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo!

It’s super convenient for sightseeing and getting around Tokyo.The room was quite clean and cozy, though a little small (which is pretty normal for Tokyo). Everything was well-maintained, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful whenever I needed assistance.I also liked the little touches — free coffee at the lobby and the modern, relaxing atmosphere of the hotel.If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay in Tokyo without spending too much, I’d definitely recommend this hotel. It’s great for solo travelers or couples who don’t mind compact rooms.

The location is great. Not so far from train station and still quiet zone and opposote to Ameyoko Market. They offer free coffee, tea and snack. The coffee is good taste. I had it every day. The room is clean but very small. I stayed in double room. I feel the bed is queen size and fit for couple or parent with kid only. Not reccomend for friends staying together in this room type. What surprise me is cleaning service. I left since 9am and attach the tag requesting for clean. And I was back around 3.30pm. They didnt clean my room yet. Some might say I should notify the reception before leaving. But is it too late? 03.30pm?

The overall experience was great, the location of the hotel is amazing, very close the Ueno station which is a big plus when you’re travelling from Narita airport since you can just take the Narita express.Not to mention it is also 1 block away from Ameyoko. Which is perfect for me since it’s near but in the same time not right next to the market since it will be noisy. Great Plus!Room is tidy and clean, amenities were replaced everyday. The only downside is the room is really quite small but it’s definitely acceptable since Tokyo is really packed.The Front desk team members are very polite as well. Will definitely comeback next time if I’m staying in Ueno for my future trips

Check in and out is super fast. Even after check out, we are able to have free coffee and chocolate for kids while waiting to go airport. The staff are still as friendly. Kids enjoy the bunk bed and the bath tub. We have a comfortable stay, thank you.

Room quite clean but there is still dust in the corner area.Super quiet compare with other Tokyo hotels i had stay in the past. I rarely cant hear noise from outside. Some Amenities need to ask from staff such as shower cap. Cleaning every 3 nights.

We loveeeee every aspect of the hotel! The staff, the location, the mood and tone. The facilities are superb! With coffee machine, availability of additional pillows, ice machine and microwave, also a beautiful view from the rooftop! We will definitely stay here again.

Good location. Very nice and helpful staff. Easy for Thai tourist due to there is a Thai front desk agent. Feels like home. You can deposit your luggage overnight if you have another booking.
