Tosei Hotel Cocone Ueno

The location is great. Not so far from train station and still quiet zone and opposote to Ameyoko Market. They offer free coffee, tea and snack. The coffee is good taste. I had it every day. The room is clean but very small. I stayed in double room. I feel the bed is queen size and fit for couple or parent with kid only. Not reccomend for friends staying together in this room type. What surprise me is cleaning service. I left since 9am and attach the tag requesting for clean. And I was back around 3.30pm. They didnt clean my room yet. Some might say I should notify the reception before leaving. But is it too late? 03.30pm?

Check in and checkout was smooth and very clean room., This is the only hotel in our experience to have a coffee machine for unlimited hot and cold coffee. Also allowed us to store bags for free to pick up later had unlimited bath salts and biscuits for guests too.. The room was small but that is a standard for Tokyo. Location was perfect to walk to many attractions, train, metro and shopping areas.Overall good experience.

The hotel is very modern and the room remained spacious even though it is only 12sqm. They clean the room daily and there are free drinks in the lobby. The hotel is situated in between Ueno and Okachimachi stations. Will definitely recommend!

Great location and friendly staff. Room was clean and well-equipped, but very small — difficult to move around with luggage. The hotel has amenities like laundry facilities, ice maker machine. Still a good stay overall!

Rude Staff – Not Recommended - Stay Away Arrived early, check-in was at 3 PM — fine. We had already paid online and handed over our passports. While waiting, I went to the self-serve coffee station. The female Indian receptionist didn’t even come over — she loudly called out across the lobby, stopping me rudely, saying can not use only after check-in. She was holding our passports the whole time. Completely disrespectful and harsh tone, no sense of hospitality. First impression was terrible. If this is how guests are treated before check-in, imagine the rest. We extremely unhappy and will never return. Avoid this place if you want pleasant service . This place Isn’t it.

Very good location to Ueno Train Station. Service is top notch and friendly people always. Free hot/cold beverage (Coffee/Hot Chocolate/Ice)

Nice small clean room. It’s situated near Ueno station so it’s easy to travel to different parts of Tokyo. Across the street is a street full of restaurants and convenience store! You will never get hungry when you are staying at this place. Best is in the reception area, there’s free coffee and tea and some snacks! Oh, go up to the terrace at night, you can see a fully lit Tokyo sky tree tower!

Great value for money . They have enough supply for shampoo,conditioner,hand wash unlike in other hotels. Coffee is also unlimited for in house guests. Space is a lil small but it’s still fine. Location is great for skyliner and other metro lines too. Very close to Ueno park. Staffs are nice too. Thank you team . Will definitely stay again if i visit tokyo next time.
