Toshiro is a master at his craft. Alongside his wife Yoko and the rest of his wonderful staff Toshiro runs an incredible spot. The drinks are exquisite and next to his extensive selection of japanese whiskey and local gins he also has a small variety of more exotic drinks like mezcal from Oaxaca and Durango. His smoked old fashioned is worth coming all the way from Mexico just to enjoy once more. My congratulations to Toshiro, Yoko and his wonderful staff. Sophisticated and full of passion. If you are in Niseko this place is a must. 10/10

The kind of special place that brings you back to a town over and over again. The cocktails are sensational, naturally! Such innovative ideas perfectly executed. The non alcoholic drinks are good too, my matcha ginger beer was fun! But the highlight is the service. Such sweet and friendly people. Heartbreaking to have to leave this bar, we must come back!

TOSHIRO'S BAR トシローズバー Fantastic experience we both had a very talented Mixologist, it's such a nice I was amazed to see the way he makes the cocktails. I really loved it and she did too. We liked it so much that we would like to go again for pre-drink before our dinner somewhere else. Staff are attentive. The bar was beautifully designed. They do have very good collection of whiskey, including Hibiki (many collection) | would say if anyone visit Niseko please go to Hirafu to enjoy this phenomenal bar Cocktail experience.

We visited Bar do Toshiro last night as a couple, and it was one of the most special experiences we’ve had in Japan. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine warmth. Toshiro himself is incredibly cool and approachable, and his team is just wonderful — some of the kindest people we’ve met. We ended up spending hours there simply because the atmosphere was so inviting. The drinks were outstanding, with a wide variety of creative and beautifully executed cocktails. Highly recommended, a place we’ll remember for a long time.

The atmosphere and drinks at Toshiros Bar are special. We have made it a point to drop by every time we are in Hirafu - the cocktails are top notch. If you can, get a seat at the bar and watch Toshiro work. Yoko, the co-owner, is so warm and hospitable - it’s a lovely place to relax and wind down after a day of skiing.

An absolute gem in Niseko. Toshiro’s Bar is everything you hope to stumble upon and then return to again and again. The cocktails are exceptional — crafted by Toshiro himself with real precision, creativity, and soul. The smoky presentation cocktails are a highlight: theatrical without being gimmicky, beautifully balanced, and genuinely memorable. Every drink feels considered, from the aroma to the final sip. The service is just as special. Toshiro’s wife brings a warmth and attentiveness that makes you feel instantly welcome, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. There’s a calm confidence to the whole experience that makes the bar feel cool, intimate, and quietly seductive. And the whisky selection… unparalleled. An extraordinary range that will impress even the most serious whisky lovers. Stylish, atmospheric, and deeply personal — this is a bar run by people who truly love what they do. I’ll absolutely be back.

There are other bars in Niseko, but if you want something truly unique in terms of atmosphere, experience and delicious cocktails then Toshiro’s is the only option. Take the homemade Yuzu gin (actually don’t, leave it for me)… smokey penicillin or one of the dozens of incredible whiskeys. Yoko and Toshiro will leave you with memories that survive the morning after!

If you're a fan of Japanese whiskey, then you may enjoy the variety of flight options Toshiro's bar offers! Though pricey, there were many hard to get options, so definitely it's worth a splurge of you can afford it. Otherwise, just come for the chill and classy atmosphere of this bar with very welcoming and attentive hosts. A very solid option after a day on the slopes nearby!
