"In the foothills of the Himalayas, the Rampur distillery was established in India back in 1943, making it the oldest distillery in the country although today it’s owned by Radico Khaitan, India’s largest spirits producer. But it wasn’t until recently that Rampur released this robust single malt—made from North Indian six-row barley—in the United States. For the first two-thirds of its aging process, it’s kept in American ex-bourbon barrels, before spending the last third in European oak casks that once held sherry oloroso. The result is a delicate blend of balsamic vanilla and tropical fruit notes on the nose—somewhat unique to Indian whiskies—and the American white oak is complimented by hints of rich caramel, dried and stewed dark fruits, and spices like pepper and clove from the European oak. Due to the climate in the Himalayas (the temperature ranges from 30 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity is typically between 70 and 80 percent), this whisky matures much faster than most, lending it a smooth, mellow taste with a long-lasting finish." - Devorah Lev-Tov

Google
First time visiting this location, and I was not disappointed. It is a bit overwhelming when you first enter, but once you get your bearings and locate the actual thing you want, it gets better. I was looking for some sparkling wine and located the aisle for it fairly easy. Was able to see a whole selection of all of their sparkling wine and noticed that they were cheaper than a Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Publix, etc. I was very excited to find the kind I like and for a fraction of the cost. This will be my new favorite place. They have a huge parking lot as it's located in a shopping center. Everyone was super friendly and efficient and gave great recommendations.

I went to this location for an investment seminar. We were in the classroom right off the front entrance. It included a wine tasting at the end with one of the total wine staff members. She was very sweet and knowledgeable abt the wines we tasted. And she was very patient with all of our questions lol. I walked around the store a bit and there definitely is no shortage of items to chose from. The staff I did encounter was very friendly.

Google
Big selection, but guidance is hit or miss depending on who you talk to. But also wine is so subjective and everyone likes different things, so I get that it’s difficult to make suggestions that will please everyone. The store is laid out well and there are always people available to help.

Google
Great selection, knowledgeable staff, weekend samples, wine tasting classes, find your old favorites and try something new! Easy parking, quick checkout and fun to explore, convenient neighborhood location.

First time ever visiting this store and had an amazing experience! I needed specific beer/wine to pair with a dinner party and I was VERY overwhelmed with making a choice. I have a young son in a wheelchair who was about 10 min from a likely meltdown and time was of the essence! KRIS offered to assist me and not only helped me pick out the perfect beer/wine for my occasion, but also helped push my son’s wheelchair around the store and was so sweet with interacting with him. Once we picked out all the items he walked me up and opened a register so I wouldn’t have to wait in line with my son. As a special needs mama, I cannot even tell you how hard the world or a simple grocery store visit can be to navigate sometimes and the respect/care showed to us today had a large impact. Thank you so much Kris for your incredible customer service and kindness today. We will be back! :)

Google
I love this store for their choice of beers. For the first time, I decided to buy some of their winery direct wines on this visit. Based on the 4.4 review of ED Cabernet Sauvignon, I took a chance. It was by far and away the absolute worst bottle or box of "wine" I have ever had. This includes Franzia, and the multiple bags of wine I drank backpacking through Australia that I got for less than $2AUD/ bag. I would appreciate it if they stopped carrying this fortified colored water so no one else will have to drink this swill.

Google
Great place for wine and other potable. Was looking for a grapefruit radler recommended by a friend. And yes they had it! Really great selection here. If you can't find it elsewhere try here.

Wow! What a great selection of wine. Amazing experience. The store is HUGE. Very friendly staff

Yelp
We aren't big "Boozers" - But, special Shout out for there lovely selection of "Kosher" Wines. Tis the season - I suspect that my wife will be compelled to return again for more purchases this 2024-2025 Holiday Season. Staff is friendly!

Leigh G.

Yelp
Helpful staff always helps me find exactly what I need ~ or points me to something unexpected and wonderful. My go-to for hosting book club or holiday parties.

Luisa K.

Yelp
workers are rude!!!!! they were not kind to my kids and kept looking at them acting like they were going to open a botle of wine and drink it! I will not be coming back here. so disrespectful we were just trying to shop and a worker tried to cause a seen and wouldn't leave us alone.

Yelp
My husband and I went to this location and not even 2 minutes in the store we were approached by three different employees asking if we needed help. Of course they are being nice doing their job but after the first two employees we just wanted to browse. The one employee stood next to us after we said we didn't need help and appreciated the recommendations. After looking for a brief moment, she approached us again with more recommendations. This experience made me want to RUN OUT OF THE STORE. They need to tone it down. Felt like I walked into a tank of sharks.

Yelp
My trip here last week was...Everything! I encountered several amazing, helpful, kind and knowledgeable staff members! It was one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time, seriously. You may be thinking "it's just Total Wine", lol and I get that. But I was shopping for specific things and these folks legit went above and beyond. They work HARD too. From climbing those huge ladders to get merchandise off shelves, then checking out with so much stuff and calculating discounts. IDK, it was proof that they do so much more than just sell wine. These folks here were all so knowledgeable about what they sell, where it was and so much more. Can't thank them enough for making that trip such a breeze! Also, the store itself was super clean and organized and they are very well staffed. There was even a gentleman offering samples and this was a weekday afternoon before 5pm. Great team at this location, kudos all around!

Yelp
We went to Total Wine to look for a box to deliver our Save the Dates, unfortunately we didn't find a box that we liked. However, we didn't give up and continued looking around the store and found these incredible Mr. + Mr. wine gift bags in our wedding colors (navy blue and silver). Although we didn't find all 80 bags in one store (we were eventually able to find them by going to various stores) we were able to find them by going to several stores. It was nice to see these bags and not just the Mr. and Mrs. bags. Additionally, it was nice to also find the silver tissue paper that we needed. Thanks for making your stores inclusive Total Wine. My only suggestion would be to make these available to order online. Additionally, every store we bought some of the bags from had incredible employees that asked us what we were doing with so many bags and when we showed them pictures they congratulated us!! Amazing customer service!

Greg O.

Yelp
Large selection of wine and beer. I'm from out of state and checked out the local section to get some NC wine and got some from Biltmore and another winery. Also saw they had some from NY's finger lakes. I recommend giving those a try.

Vanessa C.

Yelp
The service here is STILL LACKING. A friend ORDERED online for a Memorial Day treat for visiting guests & other friends. My friend picked up her order via the standard pick up process but when she reached her destination, she opened the box and it was someone else's order. TOTAL WINE NEVER CAUGHT THIS HUGE ERROR & if they did, they never contacted her. She had to call them the next day to inform them of this MAJOR MISTAKES. Service is STILL REALLY BAD HERE. I guess managment does not care about service AS LONG AS THEY SELL, SELL, SELL. BTW, I only gave 1 star 2 post, you deserve NO stars. Oh & that 15% off of 12 bottles is NOT A SALE, GO BACK TO MINIMUMS OF 3 OR 6.

George D.

Yelp
I came for the "& More" part... in other words - beer. They have an excellent selection. Surprised they had so few Dunkel varieties - especially this time of year when Dunkels are very popular. But, I came away with $70 of loveliness that helped restock my beer fridge. The beer section can be overwhelming. Pro tip - Ask for help. I wonder if they can special order stuff from out west?? Specifically, a Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Chocolate Stout out of San Diego.

Bob B.

Yelp
I love this store! Great selection, helpful staff, excellent prices. I always spend more than I intended when I go in there!

Peter M.

Yelp
Their inventory is the draw, IMO. Lots of selections especially from smaller vintners that cannot produce the volume required of large grocery chains. And the pricing is very competitive. However, the store appears in disarray with boxes everywhere. Maybe it is the feeling of contention that troubles me with tight aisles and end caps cascading into the walk space (I feel claustrophobic just writing about it). While the staff is helpful and knowledgeable, the checkout is awkward with never enough registers open. Cannot they smile more and seem happy? After all, wine is the elixir of life! As a Reserve Member I have attended a few of their invitation only wine events. For the most part, other than the samplings, improvements are needed. Lackluster food and poor presentations don't inspire me to attend them any longer. For all the hype of membership and points, etc., I cannot see where their "discounts" are anything more than Harris Teeter grants on a weekly basis (ouch, yes, that one hurt). I wish they were better at what they do 'cause they have inventory and selection in spades. In the market for a unique bottle from a smaller vintner? I say, "Give 'em a whirl."

Courtney P.

Yelp
Love coming here! Chip greeted me while I was wandering through the Cabernet aisle. He was able to guide me in choosing two red wines that came highly recommended by him and they're Winery Direct. If you're a newbie to wine like myself, I highly recommend signing up for their rewards and paying attention to the staff picked signage posted on certain wines. They definitely know what they're talking about! Thanks Chip, can't wait to try the Pinot!

Yelp
Total Wine & More is my go to spot for a large wine purchase, because they offer a great selection with outstanding customer service. This location is large and layout is perfect for finding exactly what you are looking for, as they have areas designated by wine and beer. In addition, there are employees throughout the store to assist with finding what you are looking for as well as making recommendations based on what you are looking for. Throughout the week they have special offers, including wine tastings. I can say I have purchased some great wines based on enjoying during a tasting. Prices are also great, much cheaper than your local grocery store and sometimes you can locate a coupon, even better. If you're in the area and looking for wine and beer, great service and prices, Total Wine & More is your go to spot!

David L.

Yelp
I'm 21 and they wouldn't serve me because my friend was under 21. I will never spend my money here again. Rude unhelpful manager.

Deborah N.

Yelp
Stores like this one in Charlotte, NC, convince me that my home state of PA needs to step into the modern era when it comes to how wine and alcohol is sold. This store was a nice discovery on our visit to the Charlotte area. They have wine, but also have varieties of beer and ale available. The selections were diverse and distinct. Wines are arranged by country and region. They offer a wide range of prices. The staff people were friendly and knowledgeable. But now I have to return to the land of state stores and archaic laws.

Hanover F.

Yelp
Sarcastic Service not appreciated I went in Saturday 2/8/20 at about 2:30pm, and asked two associates who were standing in the beer section, chatting with each other, and asked if a certain limited release specialty beer might be on hand. The response from one of them was a tone-deaf, "That's funny. That's the best joke I've heard all day, thanks!". The other associate chuckled and smiled along. Neither of them asked if they could help me find an alternative, or anything that would be considered service-related. Once they'd delivered their punchline, they both stood there grinning. I'm a club member and spent probably in the thousands of dollars over the years at this particular location. I really hope that my "joke" was enough to get them through their shifts, it's the last time I'll enter this store. My response to your staff may be a little late, but it stands. Get bent.

Yelp
absolute worst experience at the Wilmington, North Carolina location of total Wine and more. Had a $25 gift card for the store and they would not honor it. Spoke with store manager Randy for clarification and after reviewing the video still would not offer assistance. Would never recommend, going to total Wine and more in Wilmington as the customer service is horrible. called the phone number to corporate, and yet again received no assistance from them. Was referred back to the store location where we were turned down in the first place.

Anisha H.

Yelp
Well, I came, saw, and purchased nothing. Instead, I left and now heading to the total wine on providence road. Extremely out of my way, but I would much rather take a drive than have lousy service. I walked into this location, eager to begin shopping. I noticed everything they had on sale, even the super cute wine luggage bags! I stopped into the restroom because I knew my shopping experience would take a while. I was there to purchase lots of wine for lots of holidays celebrating. After grabbing my cart, I stopped to take a look at all the sale items they had in the front of the store. I picked up lots of the super cute wine bags, which made it perfect and one less store I needed to visit for my 20 gifts. Then a nice lady asked if I needed help with anything which I shared I was looking for several bottles of red and white wines. She did not help me; she just said that someone would be with me shortly. I waited for an additional 15 to 20 minutes, and no one came to help me. I asked again, and a gentleman at the front gave me a little bit of an attitude and stated that someone would be with me shortly. At this point, I had enough, and I left my card at the front of my items back and walked out of the building. It does not take this long for someone to assist with things that you have a list for and need help with. So I drove to the Providence location, which was about 30 minutes away and was provided with excellent customer service immediately. I explained everything that happened on the other side, and the store manager, she profusely apologized for the lack of attention. She shared that she used to be the store manager of that location and and was familiar with the person whom I was speaking of and saying that she would contact him and explain my concerns and address the situation appropriately.

Bruce K.

Yelp
Shopping for booze for the holidays, there's really no reason not to make Total Wine a key stop in your preparations. They have everything you could possibly need for wine and beer. Neatly organized by region and by country of origin, there isn't a wine-producing spot on the map that isn't represented here at Total Wine. Admittedly, some are better represented than others but where else will you be able to easily choose Alsace and Argentina and Venezuela and Vietnam? They make wine in Canada and South Africa and the UK. Heck, the only continent without wine is Antarctica. As for the beer selection. I thought that it wasn't quite as well organized but there was absolutely as much variety on offer here. Seriously. Stop at Total Wine. As I said in my initial review, it comprises or constitutes a whole. There's no need to go elsewhere.

Chantel B.

Yelp
Came in and found exactly what I wanted . Was in and out in minutes . I appreciate that my ID was checked.

Cameron K.

Yelp
I can't really say anything bad about Total Wine. They have a large selection of beers and wine with good prices. They have items in all price ranges and quality levels. I love that I can go to one place to buy my Portuguese wine and my German beer for the best price in town. I love Portuguese wine and am always thrilled with their selection. They have informative staff that will answer all of your questions and then some. I love coming to Total Wine to restock my beer fridge and wine rack. They have a rewards program that you can join for free as well to accrue points to use towards future purchases. They even have curb side pickups so you don't even have to go into the store if you don't want to. Part of the appeal of the store for me is being able to wander around and read about various wines. I wish they had tastings! Maybe they do and I've never been there at the right time. They have adhered to social distancing guidelines well.

S M.

Yelp
I usually do curb pickup but the times I do go in everyone is super helpful and courteous. Great selection and always clean. They have signs up and markers on the floor for social distancing. There is one guy who works there and on occasion has brought my order out to car that is a real ass(reason for only 4 stars). He thinks he is the high and mighty one and it's beneath him to bring your order out. Every time I go there, I pray he doesn't come out to my car and give me an attitude. He is very curt and would be much happier working elsewhere. I don't know his name but we just call him The A Number 1, Ahole! Hope you go on his day off because the man is a true downer!

Jonathan B.

Yelp
It's a good spot to get wine. Also: an excellent spot to get beer! The name misled me for years before I finally came into one of these. I don't care much for wine but more than half of the store is dedicated to it. Still, they manage a considerable amount of space for beer. There are coolers with cases of beer if you want some local and local-ish craft and big name beers. If you're looking for unique single bottles those are mostly down the aisles not cold. Maybe my biggest complaint because I usually find myself wanting to drink them immediately! Foreign beers abound too. Can't speak much to the wine but if you can't find one here I can't imagine you'll find one anywhere else. They also have a humidor?! I'm not a cigar guy but that's pretty cool. I bet it smells pretty dang good in there. The main thing that brought me was the Queen Charlotte's Pimento cheese. They also have gift bags made for wine and beer and other party hosting décor type stuff. Sorry, no spirits! Prices aren't bad considering it's a specialty shop. Service is great and the staff was incredibly helpful. I called to make sure they had the pimento cheese and they were incredibly polite. In the store they quickly directed me to where to find it.

Michael N.

Yelp
So - let me get this off my chest first - I hate the parking lot - super busy and a ton of blind spots - thank God for back up cameras! Okay - so the review! I felt like I walked into a party! It was like a beehive full of beer and wine! I think in total there were 5 sample tables set up from breweries including New Sarum and OMB. Uh, who doesn't like to shop and sample? I was really impressed with the selection that they decided to refrigerate - some really good stuff, because as you probably know most is stored room temp here. Jeez - I'm starting to believe beer is taking over the world - there were at least two full very long aisles of beer. It can be a bit overwhelming just wading through all of the choices. Luckily, if you can't find something or are unsure if they carry it, an associate can look it up for you; they're like Beer Librarians! The prices here are very reasonable and many times beat grocery store prices - the only bad news is that I can never get out of this place without at least spending $50.

Oanh P.

Yelp
I was in Charlotte last weekend and didn't know the markets and stores close pretty early compared to Boston. This place was open until 10pm! Thank goodness. Taking 2 stars away because I believe there's only wine and beer here. I might be wrong though.

Eric K.

Yelp
I visit the Total Wine a couple of times a year. Why only a couple? It's dangerous! I went in to buy ONE bottle of wine as a gift. Next thing I knew, an hour had passed, my arms were full of four bottles of wine, I was searching for a basket to add a fifth, and I still hadn't decided which bottle to pick up as the gift! Total Wine has aisle upon aisle and shelf upon shelf of wines from all over the world. And local NC wines as well. And for those of us who enjoy wine but aren't fine wine connoisseurs, the bottles are simply categorized, the shop provides a description of the flavor of each, they label monthly favorites and new varieties, and each bottle is discernably priced. It's like wine for dummies! The prices always amaze me, too. I don't like to spend a lot on a bottle of wine and enjoy finding a bargain, especially if it's something palatable, new, and comes in a nice looking bottle. I'm all about packaging! Don't get me wrong, though. Total Wine also carries a huge selection of top-of-the-line choices and offers wine classes! If you're looking for a bottle of wine for a gift or just a nice evening at home, pass by the wine section at your local Harris Teeter and give Total Wine a try instead. You'll be amazed at all the wine they have...and get a great deal in return! And if you're more into beer, they have a large selection of beers from around the world that I've never even heard of, too! p.s. The French wine in the pink label that I got for the gift was a hit! Everyone loved the packaging and wanted to know where I got such a beautiful bottle of wine. Do I know how to pick 'em or what?

Michelle S.

Yelp
I love their selection and when it comes to any wine ending in 7 you know you are getting the best deal around. Menage a Trois or Apothic Red are both like $7.97 a bottle which is at least $2 cheaper than you can find it anywhere even on sale. They also have an amazing beer section including by the bottle as well as kegs. They have beer and wine from around the world. They also have great geer for drinking that make great gifts.

Rachel D.

Yelp
Antonia Patten is the best!! Find her in the store and she'll point you in the direction of some of the tastiest wine.

John H.

Yelp
Solid 4 stars for Total Wine & More. Basically all their merchandise fits into to my "favorite things" category... I'm always sad when I realize I cannot solely shop here. Well - I can, but it would be super ugly to function during the week. Navigate through the parking lot, not my favorite, but once you get in, you are safe and can browse through wine/beer options all day. I have yet to use a shopping cart here (probably for the best), but they have them up front with baskets. My usual "go-to" is hitting up the "make your own six-pack" aisle, but I like getting gifts for friends if I'm coming over for dinner or whatnot. There are plenty of folks to help you out as far as trying to make selections and most of the staff is very helpful in their knowledge base. Everyone is friendly and you can get in and out fairly quickly - unless you get stuck behind me in line where I am carrying my "armload" of beverages in my refusal to get a cart ;)

Jamie H.

Yelp
Nice selection of wine and great workers... everyone was willing to answer questions and help recommend selections. Price is also much better than about any other option!

Karen C.

Yelp
I always love the convenience and prices of Total Wine. But I have had some disappointing experiences shopping there in the past - staff who would walk past without speaking, or asking if I needed help with anything. Last Wednesday, I had the OPPOSITE experience. Ashley was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accessible. She offered not just location help, but specific info on craft beers, and discount info. It made me happy to spend my money there! The cashier was also friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back!

tanya s.

Yelp
Yes, they have a good selection of wines but it's best to call ahead to make sure they have what you are looking for. If you don't call ahead you may have a long wait while they search for what you want. They'll tell you the computer says they have two cases of it but it may be a long disappointing search. Their system for locating their cases is strange and needs to be revamped. Then when you get in line you might get stuck behind a slow person and when they open a new line they take the person at the end of your line, not the person who has been waiting the longest. They'll send you coupons in the mail but then run out of what they offer and don't restock. They just sent out coupons for a free insulated wine bag. They apparently ran out of them the first day and had no plans to re-stock. What kind of marketing plan is that? Costco is a good alternative. Their selection isn't as extensive but what they have is often cheaper and you don't have to wait while someone tries to find what you want.

Angela T.

Yelp
Worst customer service in Charlotte. It gets 3 stars because you can't beat the prices. I guess that's the trade off. They save money by hiring mediocre talent. ‍

Stephanie G.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. The store would not let my husband purchase wine because I was with him and did not have my ID on me. The lady then continued to say that I wasn't even allowed to come into the store without an ID, which is a complete lie. We will not be back.

Michelle P.

Yelp
This may be one of my favorite places ever... The inventory alone makes it worth the drive... The staff really knows their stuff... Give them a price point, a type of beverage and you're off to the races... lol I really enjoy the free tastings and they give coupons for the wines on the tasting bar... Sometimes there are bonus wines or a beer to try... Other times, there are little treats like a chocolate or canapes... Crackers are usually a given to cleanse your palate... I can only think of one time there haven't been any... Every few weeks, they have a huge free tasting called an Extravaganza... Around 25 to 30 wines and a few beers... They bring out the real snacks for those... :) In the summer, there are a lot of breweries (local and national) that come by to let folks sample their wares... This store does not have liquor, but I have still never left unsatisfied...

Jenny B.

Yelp
I can't say anything bad about Total Wine & More. They have always been my go-to spot for beer or wine in Charlotte and they usually have everything I'm looking for unless it's a seasonal limited edition bottle. The prices are fair and the selection is great. I love the 'recommended wine' section because they include bottles that are within my price range. It also gives me the opportunity to try new wines that I usually wouldn't pick out myself. The staff has always been very knowledgeable and helpful when looking for bottles that would suit me. They also have free wine/beer tastings on the weekend - love when they have that!

Lydia W.

Yelp
Guys there's this store that sells wine cheaper than anywhere else I've found yet AND they give you coupons! Whhhhaaaaaa????? I am ashamed mad and bewildered at how long I've lived in the area and didn't know about this place! And I call myself a wine drinker? Pssshhh obviously I've been living under a rock! This place has wine for days! Tired of your same old same old? Come here and browse the different selections! They all have an in depth description along with ratings from critics and the staff themselves. Everyone that works here that I've encountered has been super nice and helpful so just ask for a recommendation! They also have a gigantic selection of beer for all the non wine drinkers out there! (Y'all are weird but it's cool we can still be friends) as well as a cigar stock so you can grab your fancy smokes along with some cheese and crackers to go with whatever fantastic new wine you're trying that night! Look basically if you drink wine on a professional level like myself and you haven't been there you're doing life wrong and you need to stop and go there now. No really go!

Mike M.

Yelp
First of all they carry Panthers Wine so that right there is 3 stars. The staff is as helpful as you want them to be. Need guidance? They are there for you. Want to shop in peace, they'll leave you alone. This location as a ton of French wine especially from Bordeaux. They have frequent beer and wine tastings too. Check their schedule.

Tom T.

Yelp
5 stars for consistently carrying most craft brews cheaper than the grocery stores. They almost always have a coupon as well that knocks another couple bucks off a beer run. The wines are targeted mostly at their direct relationships with various vineyards. Have to work your way through to find a few gems. Broadly carried labels that can be found in other stores usually have similar prices, I haven't found great discounts on those typically. Every once in awhile they send out a 20% off coupon though, and then the savings are pretty good.

Jen L.

Yelp
Great spot (when in the area) to grab wine at! Everyone is friendly and helpful! Great selections available. I just wish there was one closer to where I live!

Michael E.

Yelp
Just before heading to Napa for vacation, my baby and I decided to try out some wines before heading out there and loved the selection AND price. Definitely my go to place for adult beverages.

Belle D.

Yelp
I like this place. It's too bad I do not go here often enough to buy our favorite wine that I cannot find at other places. Place - huge, large selections of wine! There are rows and rows of different wines. Selections - they have everything. My husband bought this certain Malbec wine that I used to make Pot Roast and it was superb. Maybe I should not have used just a good wine, but I cannot find another other red wine that brings out the flavor like I did.. I could only remember how the label looked.. Red foil cap, Malbec, made in Argentina? , with a wild animal in black. Service - nice and decent

Yelp
This is my first time at this location. I've been to other Total Wine's before so I'm familiar with how it is. I was looking for a specific beer to get for my husband. I know some locations sell it and some don't so I wasn't sure what to expect. I walked in and I see a customer service desk. There were two guys there and they both weren't busy. I asked one of the guy's about the beer and instead of him walking over to help me find the beer, he just tells me to walk down an aisle. I asked if it would be in the front or middle or end of the aisle and he told me to just walk down that location. Eh, ok. I looked and looked and of course I didn't find it. I found the brand of beer but I did not find the type of beer that I wanted. There was no one around for me to ask. So I go up front again and told the guy about my finding the brewery but I couldn't find the exact beer. He finally walks over to help me and of course he didn't find it. He then walks me over to the next aisle to look at the beer that is displayed in the center and couldn't find it either. He told me to wait so he can ask someone. I waited and waited and he finally walked over and found the beer. I got what I wanted and checked out. The girl at check out was friendly but she didn't offer to bag my beer. And when I put the beer in a cart, I rolled the cart at the end of the exit door and there was a huge sign that said to not leave the carts there but there were carts there. I didn't know where to leave it so I had to go back in the store with the items I purchased and dropped the cart off. Annoying and the service wasn't that great overall.

Yelp
Loathsome customer service. I've been here over six times and have never been approached by an employee or seen one in the wine section. Cashiers are just waiting for their shift to end. For a better wine selection and service, go to the bottom floor of Belk's in South Park. They know their stuff.

Yelp
I love Total Wine and I love how close it is to my house! You can find all of your favorites and they offer online ordering through the app which is super convenient and they'll have your order ready within 2 hours. Use their app because it organizes your favorites for you and can help you find a specific wine in the store and makes pre-ordering super easy! The people are really friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Love this store. Everyone that I've met in this store has been super friendly and helpful. But not helpful in that pushy, stalker-esque way. They're attentive and knowledgeable, and patient when I'm being fickle. The store is clean and well organized. They usually have a tasting going on for beer or wine. The parking lot can get a little hairy, but it's not the worst. I always go out the exit behind Total Wine, there's a light there. Drive cautiously in this parking lot, don't get too excited about bringing home your well priced wine and beer. They have a make your own six pack aisle, but most of the beers you could just buy one of if you like. Along with the helpful staff, they also have carts and baskets to help you carry everything - but I'm with John H - I'm usually struggling to get my armload to the register. Challenge accepted. ps. one of the "survey questions" at the end of this page is asking me if they deliver... what a tease!

Yelp
I come here quite often and the staff is absolutely amazing. They always have what I am looking for and if I do not know what I want, I generally find it by the time I walk out because the staff is there to help you what you are looking for. I recently signed up for their newsletter/membership and I get coupons via email now that entail discount coupons. This location also hosts events that one can attend. And besides wine they also have a giant beer collection, local wines and a cigar walk-in place (do not know what it is called). The prices are actually really good. Even though I know that I probably have to pay one or two bucks more than elsewhere, but it beats Harris Teether prices by far, PLUS look for the weekly deals they are offering in store. Those beat the prices ANYWHERE, especially if you know your prices.

Yelp
It took me a long, long time to finally check out Total Wine, and I'm glad I did. I was searching for some particular brews, so I bypassed the wine entirely. There seemed to be a lot of that, but I ignored it. There is also a lot of beer, and they have everything from individual cans and bottles to bombers and growlers. The organization makes it fairly easy to find what you're looking for. Individual cans, bottles, and bombers are organized by type, and packs and cases are organized by brewery. There's a separate cooler area with cold selections and some pre-filled growlers from Birdsong and other NC breweries. I had a hankering for some beers from Fullsteam, and I found everything I was looking for. There's a growler filling station in the store, and there are around six beers available for growler fills. It's a nice feature, but nobody can compete with The Beer Growler, methinks. Overall, I felt kind of bad about not going to a locally-owned bottle shop, but I found what I wanted and found it at a good price. I'll be back when I have another massive beer shopping list.
