Total Wine & More

Have purchased a few times and have been pleased until we cracked a rum bottle and was surprised to see it break. Could’ve been a manufacture defect or storage issues at seller point. Either way unlucky. Still going to enjoy it

Super disappointed on the customer service here, especially by a boy name Teddy. He stated he was the manager and come to find out he wasn’t. He verbally attacked an amazing employee for no reason and lied about my ID being expired . After checking it , it was not. I spent too much money on that store that day to be humiliated with out a sorry. Thankfully Jen (cashier) was super nice and amazing! I will be reaching out to corporate on my incident and also making sure the great employees are recognized! teddy needs to be removed before they get a lawsuit!

Poor experienced I had, despite of helpful staff. I came to this store followed with my wife, she had her expired ID as she renewed it recently. Denying the purchase it’s okay, but to have to wait 24 hours to be able to buy again is wild. We bought from another store. Never coming back again!

Came with my friend to buy his drink. They wanted to card me too since I was with him. I understand the process, do not think anything of it. I do not have my drivers license and used my global entry as my form of id. I guess ms.D was never presented this form of id before. And told me she doesn’t know what that was. As I try to explain to her in a normal tone, she said,”if you are trying to get smart with me I will go ahead and cancel your sell” … what? Why? For explaining? Super rude and unnecessary. Definitely will not be back.

The wine store is awesome. The location gets pretty backed up with traffic. Yesterday we tried to go on Christmas eve, and because the only way to exit is through a rotary it was absolutely nuts.

1★ Extremely disappointed with my pickup. Total Wine clearly states orders will be ready within two hours, yet mine still wasn’t ready after that window. What’s more, third-party orders (DoorDash/Uber Eats) at this store get fulfilled immediately, but the Total Wine app couldn’t process its own pickup on time. If you can serve outside apps faster than your own customers, something’s broken. I won’t be using their pickup service again.

Store is huge with a very wide selection of beer, wine, liquor, & other spirits. You will be sure to find something suitable! Staff is friendly & ready to assist if needed. Plus, they deliver!

I had made a wrong turn, went to turn around and it was there. I said I need to stop. We in Pennsylvania unfortunately do not have a Total Wine and More store. Other states that I visit all have one. I hate it. Total Wine is a haven for beverage enthusiasts, boasting an extensive selection that caters to every taste imaginable. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an impressive array of wines, beers, whiskeys, and much more. The wine section alone is a journey through global vineyards, with knowledgeable staff on hand to guide you to the perfect bottle for any occasion. I found myself searching the aisles for wine for our hotel stay, but ended up leaving with local whiskey that I can't get back home. In addition to the wine that I wanted to grab as well.

I have only been to the one in Everett, and my last visit was fantastic! I came in looking for prosecco and a bottle of wine for an anniversary party. I was greeted by a nice gentleman, Bill. He asked me if I needed any help and was eager to assist me. He was friendly and knowledgeable and helped me pick out a nice bottle of wine! I ended up getting two extra bottles for myself. Great store associate and appreciate his recommendations! I will definitely be back to see Bill when the holidays come around for more reccs!

If you are picturing yourself relaxing on a chair, nice breeze blowing and a (insert favorite drink here) next to you, Total Wine should be your destination to make sure your perfect day happens. Huge parking lot out front, an amazing selection of everything you didn't even know existed, and when you get towards the registers there are about 300 little bottles to ooh and aah over. No need to decide if you should get a whole bottle of something or just a few nips, give your friend the nips and keep the bottle for yourself. Note: having those tiny bottles is really helpful when you are baking a rum or whiskey cake, need a splash of creme de menthe, etc. Employees are helpful and friendly, and the prices can't be beat!

This place is like an amusement park for adults so much fun just strolling through the aisles and looking at all the different things.

I normally like this place because it has a lot of options. Except recently I've been buying 2 Chicks. July they charged $11.95 & now they are charging $14.99 . About a $3 up charge seems excess. Hi , I'm responding to the comment below . I called customer service & they said they don't control the prices , but the company does . Not sure what to do with that information. $3 May not seem like a lot but times that by a case . That's $18 extra per case .

One bottle of the wine I need on the shelf. Had to get a different brand. Last 6 bottles of Tito's on the back of the bottom shelf. Had to find a box to kneel on the floor to get it. Line is outrageous. No customer service. Should be called total shi$show. Another company that's gotten too big to be concerned with customers. Back to reliable kappys from now on. Cashier was great.

I really liked this total wine, it had a very large selection. I was looking for a tequila and a vodka and the staff there was incredible and very knowledgeable. This employee asked what I was looking and was able to recommend and describe at least 7 different types of tequila and vodka. He really knew what he was talking about and helped me make my purchase. He also wasn't trying to up-charge and recommended different bottles based on the price range I was looking for. I was truly impressed.

Just about the worst customer service you can ever receive here. Not helpful and the prices are higher than your average liquor store. Don't recommend this location at all!!!!

The older lady with grey hair was very rude and judgmental. I love going to total wine but this lady made my experience unpleasant.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The Karen giving out free samples denied us service because my best friend who was way over 21 left her ID and understood she couldn't have a sample. Then we were informed that they wouldn't sell any alcohol to us even after she left. 2/3 of us had our ID's.

Placed an order online for delivery in the evening. Delivery charge was 8.99 as opposed to the daytime charge of 5.99. Gave explicit instructions while ordering on how to find my house. Delivery time was set for between 5 and 6 pm. 6 pm came and went. At 7 pm I received an email announcing that my delivery was on the way. No apology for the lateness, no explanation. This company uses Door Dash for its deliveries. The usual procedure is that the Door Dash driver sends a text with a link to a GPS map so that you can track their approach. I never received this text. At 7:30 I got another email from Total Wine saying that my delivery had been cancelled because "no one was there to accept it or the driver could not find my address". It went on to say that if I still wanted it, I should call them within 45 minutes and reschedule. I rescheduled as instructed for the next morning at 11 a.m. The delivery charge was 8.99, which is what is charged for evening deliveries. The order came with no problems, I got the usual text from Door Dash so I could track it. My problem is that no one apologized for the initial delivery being an hour late, I got no explanation for why the driver could not find my address despite me leaving detailed instructions on how to find it. If they chose to ignore those instructions, that is not my fault. And I think that ripping me off for $3.00 is contemptible. It is not that much money, but it is the principle of it; even Instacart would not do this- they reimburse you the "Priority Delivery" charge if your order is going to arrive late and send an apology. Because the Door Dash driver did not text me as they are supposed to and ignored my instructions (besides being an hour late) I get the feeling that my order was not processed at all and this company just cancelled it for reasons of their own. Attempts to contact this company have gotten no response. I will find somewhere else more professional i.e with respect for their paying customers to buy wine.

Amazing selection of everything. Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable about products. They do a lot of tastings. They offer events which I've never been to but maybe someday!

Stopped in at approx 3:30 April 25th was stocking up on some white wine from burgundy and had the good fortune of running into Nicolas ( I hope I'm spelling his name correctly ) who mentioned he was the wine manager and just got back from a trip to Tuscany. He made an excellent recommendation for a cote de nuits and we continued our convo as I we walked to check out. When we got to check out there was a couple arguing loudly and aggressively with the cashier about the females ID. The male who smelled heavily of Weed and exhibited visible signs of intoxication was verbally abusive to the point of being threatening. Nicolas stepped in and de escalated the situation ( thereby taking the heat of the cashier lady who was only doing her job in regards to making sure the ID was correct and legal ) I really want to give a shout out to the cashier lady ( my apologies for not remembering her name ) and Nicolas for being calm and professional despite being verbally berated and intimidated for just doing their jobs! I love Total Wine & More. I was so excited when I learned they were finally opening stores in Massachusetts. When I lived in Virginia I went to the Total Wine & More in McLean on a regular basis. Their selection cannot be beat and their prices are pretty good too. I'll make a trip to this Total Wine & More in Everett every few months to stock up. I really like browsing their craft and imported beer aisles. It seems like they have everything. Craft beer from all different states and different countries. They do an excellent job of highlighting local craft beer. At my recent visit they had beer from Wormtown, Night Shift, Exhibit A, and Aeronaut, just to name a few. In addition to their excellent wine and beer selection they have a wide range of different types of liquor. You can find everything from scotch to gin to amaro to pistachio liqueur. Staff will ask if you need help and they greet you with a smile when you checkout. They hold tastings on a regular basis and are generally later in the week like Friday or Saturday.

Total Wine is my go to source for alcohol and related products. The selection of products is vast, particularly for NA Beer, which is what I mostly shop for.

This location is inside a very large and modern shopping center. They have most of the great wines as every other locations, the costumer services is good and they have all shells well organized. The only problem for me (in particular) is that no direct or with connections metro gets here from my brother apartamento, so I had to rent a car and make a huge purchase...

I rushed across town to get here before it closed at 9:30 PM, and made it by 9:15 PM. But since I took 60 seconds putting my mask on and walking from my car, the bouncer guy said I couldn't come in. They now stop letting customers in 15 minutes before closing. What kind of BS is that? I literally needed one single specific bottle. I wasn't planning on browsing for 45 minutes or something. Total Wine has lost my business, since I literally cannot make it there before their early close, as I get out of work at 9 PM. And I buy several expensive bottles per week. Also, the employees often have improper mask etiquette, such as letting the masks fall below their noses.

Store is big, Staff is overly helpful. They have too much of a selection its almost mind boggling at first. Then you walk around a little & see what they have to offer. Tons of gifts, tons of snacks.. Lots of options... Prices are great for wines & liquor that I bought... Will def stop in more to see what I can get for good prices.. Will update if anything major changes.

I go to the Total Wine in Natick, MA and Everett, MA and they never disappoint. When I ask where certain wines I'm interested in are located there is always someone knowledgable and excited to help me. They will recommend ones they like and I always go with their recommendations and they are always incredible and added to my short list!! And they are not recommending the most expensive ones either - so impressed.

I order two keg of Heineken paid for and they cancel may order two hrs before pick up time and call the place they simple told nothing they can do don't go to this place kappas way better.

Huge store with great selection and value. There is a wide selection of wine, beer, cider, and spirits. Every time I visit, I try something new, so I particularly like the mix and match section of beer/cider. The service is great and the employees are very knowledgeable. They always give good advice and I've come to rely on the "staff picks". They provide a wide array of samplings, and there's a classroom in the back so I believe they offer group tastings. The prices are really unbeatable. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

I typically like this place and have been coming for years, but today I was treated so poorly by the cashier (Jasmine) that it prompted me to write this review. She kept staring at me in line even though there were 3 customers ahead of me. Even with 2 people in front of me cashing out she points at me and says "Give me your ID". Btw... I'm 41 and it says they card under 30. Anyway, I give her my ID and she forcefully shoved it back at me. I asked if she was having a bad day and she didn't respond. So i said "Well I hope it gets better" and then she raised her voice and said "Don't you see I'm dealing with other customers?! I'm not here to serve you". I was shocked at her attitude, I asked for the manager and she stated "They're busy". That's ok... I'll just file a complaint via the website. Total Wine needs to vet these seasonal hires because it's costing them business. Jasmine - you are disgusting.

I always come here but this guy makes me not want help from anyone ever again. I asked one of the associates for a bottle of henny from the locked cabinet, he just took it and brought it to the front without telling me what he was doing. then he snarked at me and asked me where i was going and i told him i thought he was ringing me up first before i browse some more because of idk, security? and then he was like why would you carry this around with you, i was leaving it here and gave me the rudest look. like you could of told me that instead of snarking at me like clearly i didn't know?!? you don't have to be rude. and plus it's al ALC store. what's wrong with me carrying a bottle of henny when the whole store is basically an unlocked cabinet. idk man. these people are so nasty for no reason.

This place is Awesome!!! They have everything you could possibly want to drink. When you walk in to the right is a huge section of wines. at least as long as a football field.. every kind of wine possible. They have rows and row of liquor.. A huge glass enclosed wall of top $$$ drinks including a huge Hardy's section with bottle that sell for $14,999. ???? Yup you read that correctly.. My favorite thing about this store is the customer service. I was in the Tequila section and a clerk ask me if I needed help. I asked a question and he did not know the answer so He radioed another clerk who had an extensive knowledge of Tequilas and was a sipper like me. I'm very impressed with this place. I would rate pricing about medium. quality of service A-1. Very enjoyable to shop here.

Just disgusting night discrimination still occurs this frequently. Before me, Donna checked out a Caucasian couple, and I noticed her telling them to put their ID away as it won't be necessary, and was chit chatting with them. However, when I approached, I received no hello good day, I was immediately met with, "Do you have your ID?" The change of tonality and facial expression was clear and really rubbed me the wrong way and I can confirm the following: that change of attitude wasn't due to my purchase size, as the couple in front of me just purchased a bottle of wine and I purchased a four pack of Seagrams. I can confirm that it wasn't agism due to the couple in front of me being the same age as me (25-30 year old). The only difference is that I am a black male. I'm not complaining that I needed to show ID, just pointing out the inequality in which a white couple is jokingly refused to show ID (Donna saying oh no need and putting the IDs down when given to her by the couple) and switch completely when approached by a black male. Just disgraceful that this occurs in 2024.

Total wine Everett, store manager, Steve, was beyond rude. I don't know how someone with such poor people skills is in a retail management position. He is an embarrassment to the company.

I'm almost 30, which translates to: wine is my beverage of choice nowadays. And Total Wine shop just speaks to me... - great prices - huge selection of wine, bubbly, beer, hard liquor - nice selection of drink accessories (i.e. glass markers, bottle stoppers, barware and tools, gift bags, etc.) - organized store layout with wide aisles - free chilling service - tastings - huge parking lot due to its location in a plaza - descriptive labels with score ratings, reviews, and *very specific* food pairing suggestions! Want a wine to pair with your pizza? Grab a bottle of the Casalino Chianti Classico for $12! Not sure what goes well with crab raviolis? Try the Savor Sauvignon Blanc for $7! I always leave here looking like an alcoholic with a shopping cart full of wine bottles... oops. Just wish this shop was closer to Boston!!

Fantastic selection of beer, wine and liquor. Don't let the name fool you. They have EVERYTHING you would need for a party with alcohol; drinks, snacks, drink condiments and accompaniments.

CHECK YOUR ONLINE ORDERS - twice now, we've ordered cases of wine only to get home and fine a case short-changed. The first time, 1 bottle missing, we got an apology, the second, 2 bottles missing, not even that - silence - let alone any offer to replace the missing bottles...

Had a great experience here! Bill was such a great help and let us try one of his favorite Sauvignon Blancs, and told us which wine is worth the money. Will be back. 10/10

The Everett store ran by racist employees, we were a small group of 5 people aged from mid 20s to mid 30s and Asian who were trying to purchase cigars and alcohol browsing. First, there were an employee blocking at the door and we felt like being profiled at the first door. As soon as we entered the store, we were asked to see IDs in order to shop. One of us left the physical ID but have a digital ID on the phone, but the manager didn't say anything about the requirement to have a physical ID to shop/browse. She decided to wait outside and another member joined her. Then we were being followed by several employees in different isles. Looking around, there were other customers who are Caucasians and were not bothered/harassed or followed. They would rather watch in the background then came up to me and offer assistance. Originally, we were planning to purchase a small bottle of sparkling wine and some cigars. One of the employees opened the door and check our ID to get into the cigar humidor. After picking out everything wanted, we headed toward the cashier. The cashier did not ask the customer in front of us to check their ID, but the first thing is to check our IDs, even though one of our party members wasn't purchasing anything and halfway out the door. Cashier screamed at her to show ID and when we asked the the reason behind the constant ID checking and she snapped at us saying that she's only doing her job and there was a law passed that they required to check ID, which clearly wasn't true, since she didn't ask the people in front of us, whom are Caucasians. We pointed out the manager and the other guy at the front door had ALREADY check the IDs before letting us in. The cashier continued yelling at us and clearly they DO NOT care about customer service. In that short 30 minutes trip, we all felt being targeted and the employees were straight up racist!!

I placed an online order, and it was cancelled. I called the store and straightened everything out. I placed a new order, and it was cancelled!

We went shopping here today because of their advertised 15% off if you bought any 4 bottles of wine! We bought said 4 bottles of rather high end wine only to be told at checkout that none of the 4 qualified for the discount!!!!! The sale only impacted certain wines which was not clearly identified through their promotion! This is not the first time such a scheme has been established here! This is what happens when a large out of state company comes into Massachusetts and attempts to close down small retailers! As the saying goes buyer be ware‍‍‍

Great selection, but could use more bourbon offerings. There's always tastings going on which is awesome because I'm always willing to try new things. The workers are not only helpful, but actually happy to help you. All of that plus the low prices have me being a regular customer here!

I love this store. Great location, great selection, always well-stocked, with knowledgeable and kind staff. I always shop here, and I appreciate their dedication to safety precautions during the pandemic, as well.

I always come here for my alcohol because they have a great variety at good prices! I was a satisfied patron until Wednesday night, which was the night before Thanksgiving. I went into the store and picked out my selection for the holiday. I went in with my boyfriend who so happened to forget his i.d. We left & I dropped him off and went back by myself The second time there got my stuff and went to the register. The lady who worked there recognized me & said, "you were just in here with your boyfriend. We cant serve you!" I was very upset because he wasn't with me so I told her that, then she calls over a manager. He explains to me that they don't know if I'm going to buy it then drop it off to him or whatever the case may be. He doesn't even drink! But thats beside the point. I left and went to get my boyfriend. The third (and final) time! My boyfriend and I walked in. The second we walked in we heard, "make sure both i.d.'s are checked." I get what I wanted for the 3rd time with no help offered. We get to the register and it was a nicer girl who kindly asked for both i.d.'s. and we showed them to her of course. As I was explaining to her what had happened she said it was ridiculous and hope it doesn't ruin my experience there. As she was bagging my liquor another lady walks by and says, "make sure you check both i.d.'s." my response was , "she already did!" In an impatient and hostile tone. I felt like I was harassed from the employees there & treated unfairly. Granted the law is the law, but it could've been handled in a more professional way. There are children that go in & out of there. Regardless if they're with parents or not, there was no reason to harass me and my boyfriend as they did! Very unpleased & I won't be going there again!

The workers here are very rude. I work for a shopping and delivery service and all the employees know this so every time I ask them for help to locate a bottle of wine or liquor they just give me a vague answer. If I am standing there trying to locate something they just walk right by me not asking if I need help. The last time I went in there I asked a female employee if she could help me find a particular type of red wine and she said yes, but just give her a couple minutes. Three minutes later she walks right passed me with another customer. I just went in there today and I asked 5 different employees if they could help me find a brand of beer and they said no. One even told me he didn't have time to be looking for single beers. They may have a large selection but the workers there are very rude

Kid in a candy store My liver hurts

This is the quintessential big box store for alcohol. They have TONS of stuff. There is so much in there and their prices are really good too. Here is my qualm with them. With so much inventory you need the ability to search for an item in multiple ways. They are organized by types (i.e. Merlot, or Bourbon) but sometimes all I have is a name of a winery. After I dropped the name of a winery they didn't feel they could help and I was left without anything. So back to what they do have. Shelves are bourbon, rye, beer and probably more wine than you can even count. They had this particular wine that I recently tried for the cheapest I had ever seen.

I came during their grand opening and still coming back. There wine selection is amazing and the staff is very helpful , price cannot be beat. They take the time to listen to what you want regardless if you are not sure what you are looking for. They will lead you in the right direction. Huge selection of spirits, beers and domestic wines This is my go to place when I do not mind driving there. Most of the time I will. That is the only downfall otherwise great place , great service and they deliver.

Big space, huge selections , friendly helpful staffs brought my Johnny Walker Blue label for the holiday, once I ask they know exactly where to find it. and the price is reasonable too. this will be my go to store for good liquor indulgence.

Jessica is the slowest cashier. She wouldn't stop talking to the people before me. Literally waited forever in line when I was next in line.

Best prices, selection & service. Love the idea of "sampling" also especially if looking for different Scotch, wine etc. You CANNOT beat their prices except if you travel to an island.

Huge selection! The store organizes wines by type so if you know what kind of wine you want you have plenty to choose from. Personally, I like wine to be organized by country/area but that's just me. They also have liquors, beer, and mixers. You can buy beer by the bottle which is great if you just want to try something first. Because I just moved to the area I grabbed a few local brews by the bottle and a cheap bottle of Merlot for around $11 total. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our first time here they suggested some local brews and also recommended Mystic Brewery right down the street. Overall, great place for all your wine/beer/liquor needs!

Been here about three times. First time was an okay experience, got what I needed, in & out quick. The second time I was looking for a particular red wine. I asked a female employee and she very rudely just told me to look in the back of the store. Didn't even stop to help, she said it very quickly and continued to walk. Another time, many months later, I was looking for a small 4 pack of champagne. Happened to come across the same employee and asked her where I can find this champagne and she gave a rude response and didn't seem like she wanted to help. She pointed at a direction for me to look at but it was very vague; she didn't say much and just pointed. She then continued to just walk away...again. During one of the times I was here, I was checking out waiting to get carded ( I had just turned 21 then) and the cashier was pretty rude about it saying that she doesn't need to see my card.

I like to support local market but big companies like Total Wines,try to put everyone out of business.When we shop there get cheap price but we forcing small business to close there door.
