Holy cow do they have a selection. I went looking for N/As and I found what I was looking for. Highly recommend

This really is a five-star place and I would give it five stars if every time I went in there we didn't end up purchasing 20 something dollars of wine. It's just too good to place with well-stocked wine shelves to make you spend your money. Don't get me wrong you get what you pay for but you're better off not ever knowing that there's such good stuff that cost so much.

We had a blast at Total Wine and More. The store hosted us for a personal wine tasting in their back fun area. Very knowledgeable and courteous staff, great selections of wines, liquors and beer! The store is filled with what seems like thousands of options for your shopping pleasure! Highly recommended!

I used to go here to find a great mix pack of beer for a gift. However I went recently and I was really disappointed at the selection. There used to be so much more beer here. The wine and liquor selections are plentiful.

This place is a revelation! By far the best selection in CT, with everything helpfully divided by region, spirit, etc. One example: an entire six-shelf bay dedicated to vermouth! Impeccably clean, friendly, knowledgeable staff, frequent promotional events. They have a rewards program and a "mix six" promotion that discounts many wines. Easy parking right across from WestFarms Mall.

This past Tuesday July 22nd 2025, I needed to go in to pickup a special order for my son in law. Normally the process is the person who ordered has to pick it up but because my Son In Law gave me the email order confirmation and his approval for me to pick up on his behalf, a potential problem was quickly resolved. Really appreciate the help I received.

Excellent variety, prices are awesome as well. The staff are super helpful as well.

I love this place! Great selection of wine, beer, and spirits — everything is well-stocked and pretty easy to find. Big shoutout to Patrick for being super helpful and friendly! He went out of his way to recommend a few new drink options I ended up loving. Will definitely be back!

I've always known Total Wine & More as a store for alcoholic beverages and nothing more. It never crossed my mind that they also hosts various classes revolving spirits they have in their inventory. I had a lot of fun learning more about Cabernet and what I do and don't like about it. A small fee for an experience worth an hour, it's pretty decent. It was also a fun twist to play battle of the wines. Love that they make it fun and engaging versus a talk for a whole hour!

My daughter and her fiancé live nearby and told me about this place and highly recommended I visit. As young adults, I assumed they were a bit naive and must admit I did not have any expectations. They could not have been more right. This store is amazing. The selection and variety are amazing. The staff is pleasant and helpful.

Old guy with white beard is extremely rude and bitter. The rest of their employees are very rude as well. I'll never be back here.

Typical Total Wine but they do give out free samples! You can't always find that in every Total Wine. So that was cool to see that here.

Happy to find a couple of my favorites in this store after I did a search online. The closest liquor store to my house that has the Tropical Moscato wine and Cancion Tequila. I noticed they have tastings but no one was there to provide information. My cashier was more interested in talking to another customer than me and felt complete ignored. Not a great first impression.

Not my regular pit stop for brewed concoctions. The size and huge selection just seems overwhelming, but who am I to complain. I do come to wines and the harder stuff. My most recent journey through their grand doors I had a vey specific intent - restock the Scottish Whiskey ! Late this winter, a neighbor friend reached out to me from Florida (yes my temperature increased). "Hey we're in FL and was hoping you could clear our driveway and walks? Keep in mind this was 2 days after an icy/snow/freeze and what a job. After a few hours of labor, they returned 2 weeks later following a thaw! I digress, but I found a generous Total Wine gift card being handed to me. Of course most of the cursing was forgotten. Long story, closing, I found two Grangestone twice cask aged bottles 12yr Rum Cask finish & 14yr PX Cask finish with a special: Buy 2 with 10% off each then with my gift card, only $23 bucks outta pocket. Bam! Still big & scary? Not so much with great deals like that and of course understanding neighbors. One last word, the staff are excellent and well versed in the craft of libations.

just left west hartford Corbin's corner store. I had asked if I could take 2 empty boxes, I have some glasses I'm donating. The cashier told me not unless I made a purchase or I could ask the store manager. I then went to the customer service desk and the manager told me that they old give them out to customers. it's not so much what she said but her snotty rude attitude. So keep your boxes and good luck to you all ...I'm never coming back. Funny thing I am a customer. No ...sorry ...I was a customer!

Great place to send some time walking down each isle. The selections are beyond amazing.

If you are looking for a wine or spirit, I'm sure Total Wine and More has it. They have a huge selection of alcoholic beverages at various price points and from a variety of regions across the globe. As you walk through the store they have aisles of wines, champagnes, bourbons, vodkas, and even a humidor. I recently stopped in to purchase my co-worker's favorite wine for her birthday. The employee was very helpful and brought me right to the wine was looking for. As I was checking out, I noticed that they also offer tasting, I definitely plan on returning to do a tasting.

If you're looking for any kind of drink, this is the place to go. Customer service is beautiful. Drinks are great. Management is nice. It's clean anywhere you go whether it's West Hartford or Manchester. Very nice customer service. Nice place to go to get a gift for a friend or family

I went in a few weeks ago to get some wine. I asked the elderly men at the counter if they could help me. They took the name of the wine and without looking it up, they told me they don't carry it or any brand of it. GUESS WHAT....they do. I showed them and they seemed unfazed. If you are too old to work, retire and give your job to a younger person who will appreciate that they have a job. Just saying. I will never go to this total wines again. Horrible hospitality. It's a shame I have to at least give one star. I wish I could give no stars.

Well stocked with helpful staff if required. Lots to choose from in multiple categories which means you should arrive early and wear comfortable shoes !

Drive to any other store. Store in Corbin's Corner. Cashier was rude to us when we asked to put in our phone number for our account. Chase (86450) replied most people tell us about needing to input their account first. He should have replied, no problem. We gave a funny look and he kept going. He continued, and most people in Connecticut don't have accounts and the ones that do know what to do. We were shocked. We decided to let the manager know before we left and to our surprise, no reaction. He blankly stated back, well you were able to put in right? We said yes. He said, then what is the problem? We were just unhappy by the rudeness of your employee. Get this... he replied. Have a nice day. Wtf? Total wine. It's a new store right? Well job not well done. Seems to me like an employee and manager need to be retrained or fired.

Great selection of wine and beer, Conveniently located, and good Prices. The Liquor Selection is also very good. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this Store over many others.

I've reviewed other Total Wine locations before. Bottom line, this is my go-to store for everything alcohol AND cigar related (except maybe mixers, just get those at a grocery store) They have an unparalleled selection of beer, wine, and spirits. They are a national chain and each store is clean, clearly laid out, and the staff is knowledgeable. They often sell at state minimum pricing, so you are always getting the best deal. Most locations have a humidor for cigars, along with other paraphernalia for sale (snifters, decanters, corks, etc) Not only all that, but they also do tasting on the weekend. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Online buyers beware, Had placed an online order and didn't have a chance to pick it up. Received an email that my order had been picked up when I hadn't had the chance to pick it up. Called asking why that was the case. I was told that I had picked it up, and when I said I hadn't the guy on the phone was adamant that it had been. Only after threatening to do a chargeback did I get a manager who said that the order hadn't been completed correctly and that's how they did it (stealing from people). When I again said I had not picked up my order she was magically able to find it immediately. I have yet to and am monitoring my credit card for a refund to be processed and will be calling my credit card company to do a chargeback if I don't see a refund proceed. Very unhappy with how this store tries to rip people off and steal from them. I do wonder how many people don't follow through or don't notice that they are being shorted paid for items as this is not the first time I have had an issue with online orders the prior being incomplete but being outright stolen from irks me.

I have only been here a few times to get specific wines or liquors but it's always a joy to browse this store! The staff I've communicated with has been so helpful and friendly. Most recently, I picked up a case of wine right before Christmas and the associate who helped us was such a treat! He was wearing a festive ugly sweater and so much fun to talk to. Always appreciate helpful, friendly service like that - especially around the holidays when that store was packed!

UPDATE: Still the best store around for alcohol. Great selection and excellent staff. Unfortunately the bottle return has gone way downhill once they switched to the machines. They're a pain, they don't support all the brands the store actually sells, and the room is now just a sticky, smelly, pile of garbage.

Holy smokes!! This space has occupied a few different businesses throughout the years. So when I saw the signs of another "liquor store" coming to the area I didn't think anything of it. However that soon changed when I decided to head over for the grand opening today. As soon as I entered I was immediately greeted by a team member who welcomed me. I was informed of the wine, beer and liquor tastings and was told to take my time to explore. I didn't know where to begin. There was so much to take in from the wine cellar, large selection of beer, walk-in cigar humidor, and the tasting stations. And of course all types of liquor galore!!! The staff is friendly, informative and knowledgeable of their products. There is something here for everyone and the prices are some of the lowest I've seen. I felt like a kid in a candy store and cannot wait to return whether it be for a tasting or just to explore.

They have a great selection of wine. Pretty good prices and the store is clean. That's not where the issue lies. Do not ask for help from STEVE. He is an incredibly rude employee who came off as the stuck up wine connoisseur type. I was correct. I simply asked if the brand AIX made a Pinot Grigio. He looked at me like I had three heads. He replied "That's a rose you have. They don't grow that type of grape." Then walked away with a confused smug look on his face. Within 10 seconds of responding to me he walked over to his co worker, not knowing I was still behind him. He said to her "someone just walked up to me holding a rose and asked if they made Pinot Grigio". He made a few other comments I couldn't quite hear but ultimately started laughing at me with his co worker. Don't waste your time dealing with STEVE unless you want to feel stupid and little about yourself. Have heard other stories about employees being rude to customers here. I guess the generalization about wine people being stuck up snobs is kind of true here.

Some of the best service I've ever had. Needed to pick out 5 wines for a Virtual Portugal Wine tasting. The folks at the Manchester CT location went above and beyond. Granted I'm 5 wines in but their picks were fantastic,lol! Thanks again.

Exceptional Customer Service!!!! The shelf was out of stock for the specific gin I was looking for, several employees helped search stock areas for this item. Even after giving up, they still continued to look, great team effort! Needless to say it was found. After, the manager approached me and apologized for the wait and inconvenience. Thank you! **The Cashier can use some more servicing training, since she's the last impression you're left with before leaving the store**

I can't believe I waited so long to stop in here! Great wine selections (it would be weird if that weren't the case, given their name). When I walked in, there was a small table at the front and they were doing a tasting of Greek wines. Having never tried Greek wines, I tasted a few and decided to purchase a bottle that seemed like it would be good for summer drinking. There is also a bar near the back where they do additional tastings. It was the middle of the day so I wasn't looking to taste too many wines and I didn't ask how it worked, but it seems you can ask to taste a variety of things there. The man behind the counter did ask if I needed help. Another employee came up to me while I was browsing, and was extremely knowledgeable- he was able to tell me the regions and grapes of a variety of wines I pointed to, which was impressive. As someone who loves both drinking and learning about wine, going to a wine store where the employees really know their stuff is important. This is my new favorite place to by wine locally, and I will be back!

This liquor store blew me away! Large in scale. larger in service, largest in overall satisfaction Three crew members greeted me! One crew member was handing samples out, one answered my question where a product was located, and the third gave me options about what to purchase. What a good system. I will make this my go to liquor store from now on. Definitely. Easy to reach by public transportation, in a shopping center convenient to highways and Main thoroughfares, try it!

I would've given Total Wine 5 stars, without a doubt, since it's always been a great experience coming here. Large selection, friendly staff, short lines. The reason why it now gets three stars is because of one particular cashier, Debra, who took it upon herself to nervously bend my new ID (that is also a Real ID -- federally compliant) and also denied it when I confronted her as I'm standing directly in front of her. I live about halfway between two Total Wine locations, and I'm more than happy to check out the Manchester, CT location if the West Hartford location proves nothing to be more than an annoyance because of ONE staff member.

In terms of liquor stores Total Wine is top notch! I was thrilled to find out that they were opening a location right across from the West Farms Mall. I no longer have to go over the river to their Manchester location. Total Wine is clean, well stocked, and offers more than just spirits to their customers, its impressive. Total Wine has the best selection at the best prices. If you are looking for a bottle of high-end champagne to miller light, they have you covered. The selection of high-end champagne and sparkling wines is impressive. I tend to purchase a bottle or two from time to time of pricier demi-sec and Total Wine has me covered. The layout of the store makes it easy to shop, whether you have five minutes or five hours. The different sections are labeled clearly which creates for an easier shopping experience. Even if looking at signage is not your thing, then do not worry! The staff at Total Wines has you covered! They are always very helpful and provide high quality customer service to their customers. My boyfriend and I happened to stop in by chance on the way to a friends last weekend. We were in a bit of a hurry, but wanted to grab some beers to bring to the party. The beer my boyfriend happened to pick up was not cold. But thanks to Total Wine and their water bath cooling system, our beers were cold in under ten minutes. How cool is that?! I have not seen any other liquor store in the area with the same type of service offered to their customers. Their craft beer selection is always very good. Their beers are arranged by type/style as well. They have a large selection in their coolers, but the less popular craft beer styles are usually located on the shelves. They also have a variety of individual beers that allow you to purchase them singular or a mix-n-match 6 pack. When comparing liquor stores in the area, hands down Total Wine has everyone beat. Their wide variety of wine, beer, and liquor mixed with their customer service makes them unbeatable. I willing to drive the additional five minutes down to the road to Total Wines over Crazy Bruce's any day.

Between the prices and selection, Total Wine is a total joy to browse. It's been a lifesaver lately since I've had to make a couple trips to pick up a case of wine for events (along with those cute plastic champagne flutes!). Without exception, an employee always offers help and I always find what I'm looking for in a price range that makes sense. Parking is never an issue -- it's always on the Trader Joes side of the lot where things get craaaaazyyyyy. It's not my main choice for craft beer (gotta shout out Harvest on that) but it does the trick for wine & other booze.

Do you remember those sweepstakes as a kid where you got to run through the toy store and whatever you fit in your cart was yours to keep? Or that quintessential 90's show "Supermarket Sweep"? I want to do that at Total Wine. Basically, every type of alcohol that has ever existed is sitting on the shelf here. The organization is on point (I'm surprised things aren't also alphabetized and color-coded, to be honest) and they even offer samples at no fewer than three different spots throughout the store. At first I grabbed just about any bottle of wine that was less than $6 and then I realized how many there were... this place is all about being affordable, and there is some good quality stuff available on the cheap. I love, love, love that they sell single bottles of beer as well. They're a little pricey but I love trying new beers and this gives me an opportunity to try without having 5 leftover beers to ditch if I don't like it.

Not the best one I have been in but still pretty good. Hat let it down was the craft beer selection. Picked up some Pinot and a 4 pack of beer but not what I had hoped for. Store a 3 but staff a 4.

This place is stellar. So many options for wine, beer, and liquor. The staff are sweet and courteous. I love how they have notes with staff picks and limited availability stock, it's a great guide when you're looking to try something new. Open M-Sat until 10pm. Always clean with daily specials.

I just wanted a couple bottles of wine. I thought this would be a typical liquor store. Boy, was I wrong. This is like the Costco of wine. There are aisles and aisles of wine, with categories such as "Customer Picks" and "Staff favorites". There are wine and beer tasting stations; even a "humidor" room. There were at least 4 people that asked if they could help me while I was there. While they were attentive and friendly, I felt they needed more training. When I asked for help on wine and what I wanted to pair them with, they directed me to the "customer favorites" section. Since I'm still a novice when it comes to the world of wine, I called my husband and asked for suggestions. This is a great place to explore and try a wine or two at the tasting stations, but they need more training on what to recommend to customers.

One of the fun place to go in the plaza if you love liquor! Tons of options, things you wouldn't easily find in places are all gathered in one place. There's a room for cigars. There is a tasting bar to try, give or take depending on the person working, you may get a better tasting experience. There are friendly people that chats with you and encourages more tastings and once in a while you'll get someone who just wants their shifts to be over and feels like you should be done after trying one sip of something. Pro is the selection and location. Price is ok, not the best prices but its worth it given the shopping experience you get when exploring everything when walking down the aisles.

Last Friday night I had the pleasure of hosting a Tip to Toe Italy wine tasting for 20 of my favorite ladies. It was held in the private room in the back of the store and Doug was our personal wine tasting professional. Doug explained the 8 regions and the 8 different types of wines we were tasting. Doug was informational and just a really fun professional. The room was decorated festively for the fall. The entire staff was terrific. They allowed me to bring in food for the event and a great time was had by all. I would highly recommend a special night like this to anyone and will absolutely be planning another event showcasing France and California wines. Thanks again Doug...you are the best :) Marianne

Although they didn't have the brand Hotel California in stock the staff was helpful and Kyle recommended Espolòn Tequila Blanco very nice . They have nice microphone collar system that the employees use to see if a drink is in stock I thought that was cool so your not waiting around or looking all over the place .

This store refused to sell to me and my friends despite seeing our ID's on 04/02/21 at 1:45pm. They looked at us strange the moment we walked into the establishment. We were polite yet still faced discrimination from the employees and they should be ashamed.

Fantastic service! If they don't have what you're looking for, they'll look it up and order it for you. Very nice selection of wines. They just need a vendor to carry wines from Hawaii :)

Finally got around to Total Wine in West Hartford and like the Manchester location, they run a tight ship. Well-stocked inventories, friendly staff and quick check-out lines -- no wonder Total Wine is so popular. We stopped in to grab some wine and learned that they hold in-store tastings almost daily! Wowzah! The very competitive pricing and knowledgable staff will definitely have me coming back soon!

a fine shop with a massive craft brew selection. makes me feel like an adult vs those last minute runs grabbing a 30pack for value. oh grabbed a red too as it was easy enough with lil help from vivino and napa marketing on the label. similar to selecting a physician out here, oh harvard med or johns hopkins schooling...are you accepting new patients? besides red white or blue better than showing up to an old friends for dinner w/a 2-liter or nothing at all

I went in here for the first time last week. I was really impressed with the store and what was being offered. However, at check out, the cashier played a game on her iPhone the entire time and looked up maybe only once, briefly. Even when I was handing her cash she was still tapping on her screen. I was taken aback by how bad her customer service was. Disappointed!

Really impressive stock of wine, craft beer, and various liquor. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It is located in Corbin Corner which is great for business. However, can be difficult to shop at during the holiday season.

There is a HUGE problem with this store, the staff, management and Total Wine & More in general. The problem is that they are doing almost everything to perfectness, so I and my friends want to go there more and more and do not want to leave. :-) :-) :-) I can start that the staff and the management is exceptionally customer friendly, knowledgeable about all kinds of spirits, wines, beers, champagnes, and they do have a robust selections, and one can not miss out on their cigar room. I need to specially emphasis the different spirits, wine, beer tasking events, where we the public get in-depth education about the US and international current trends and history of how the different spirits are being made, and why they are special. During the weekend one can sample a variety of drinks, and most importantly before buying any drink, you may taste it, in most cases. They have an excellent tasting room, that anyone can host a party or special event, and they staff is happy to make the arrangements. Please note, I do not work for them, :-), but I gladly give them a 9.7 out of 10, or 97% out of 100%. In conclusion, I definitely recommend them, please visit them, and if you are not happy reach out to me :-)

Best selection of Run and Whiskey I have ever seen! This is by far my favorite alcohol store in Connecticut. They have a great selection of cheap, mid range, and high end Vodka, Whiskey, and rum. I haven't seen their beer selection but my friend says that it's pretty big and much cheaper than other stores. Staff is very friendly. You will never come in here and not find what you are looking for. If I could nominate this for best alcohol store in Connecticut I would!

Love this spot. I drink moscato and pink moscato. They have a double dog dare brand that is amazing and wait for it..... 3.49. Yes, a case is less than I normally spend on 2 bottles. Staff is helpful.

People working there are so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! Great customer service, really made it a quick and easy trip!

Let's try this again. I've been to the Manchester store and was pressured into buying one of their direct selections. Same thing happened this time but on bourbon. Was going to purchase Willet reserve which I was amazed they had. Got talked into Chestnut Farms at 10 bucks more. It was hot and lacked the vanilla, caramel and brown sugar you get with Willet. Would have been happy if it were half the price. Would work fine in a Manhattan but certainly not on the rocks. Very disappointed. Cigar selection is impressive but prices are high. And only give discounts on full boxes. My go to store gives 20 percent off on boxes.

Well done all around. Selections at every price point, cigars, glasses, accessories gifts abound, Friendly staff and very helpful - always a smile.

I went there last week and now finally have the time to right this much needed review. So, it was my first time there, right off the bat, I LOOVVVEEEE the set up of the store, especially on the immediate left was Spanish wines. Every thing was labeled and easy to find. Browsed alone for a few minutes, and automatically someone comes over to see if I needed help with anything. Found out if I bought 6 or more wines, I could get a lil' discount price and so on with other spirits too. 10% is not bad especially when I spent almost $200. After shopping for wine, I went over the beer aisles. I LOVE LOVE how many beers they carried. so many brands, so many flavors. And I got two people in that specific aisle helping me out with the selections. One of the workers is Dylan. This guy made my entire day. Great personality. Great charisma. Great customer service. we must be talking for more than 45 minutes just so I can finally pick out my customized 6-pack. I had so many questions and he knew his stuff. It is great to find someone that has similar taste in beer and drinks with me. I'm very picky! I've drank all of the beers Dylan had helped me purchase that day. Each one was perfect just like the entire team at Total Wine. They are trained to satisfy your needs and help you thru picking the right purchases. Good teamwork. After leaving Total Wine, I feel more educated about some beers that I didn't even know existed. Thank you again guys for this awesome trip especially Dylan. And i will definitely refer this place to others and coming back for sure. ;)
