TotalApartments - Vervet Apartment Hotel

Our apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. We especially appreciated having a washer in the unit. There is no service, and the office area is typically unoccupied (even during posted business hours) and we received no response to email/text messages. The location will be great in a few years, but for now, you are surrounded by heavy construction. When we visited in June 2025, construction noise started around 7:30 am and ended between 8-9pm. There is no AC, which is typical for the area, but the temperature was approaching 80 inside the apartment by late afternoon, so we had to keep windows and doors open. Unfortunately, this let in lots of construction noise, lots of light (Midnight Sun), and frequently cigarette smoke from other apartment balconies. I would possibly consider visiting again once all construction is completed, but until then, hard pass.

A nice little apartment for your visit in Tromso! Conveniently located just outside of the city centre. It is very walkable there, and the location itself offers a great view of the cathedral and mountain views. The location offers some great restaurants nearby and it's quiet and very peaceful. The apartment we stayed at (which seems to be the standard) offered enough amenities to fulfil a short term or longer term stay, such as stove and kitchen wares, to a washing machine for your laundry. One downside is that, it is a one bedroom apartment, so for those travelling with families or friends, you might look for additional apartments or perhaps there are family sized apartments on offer. If you do stay for long, be prepared to maintain one towel for the length of your stay, as there is no turn over service on offer. Another thing to note (and might be weird) is that all the bedrooms are facing the front where the walkway is. So as people walk by, they will be able to see inside your bedroom. Not a big issue, but just something to note. It can also be a bit difficult to sleep during the summertime as the curtains aren't fully blacked out (at least in the apartment we stayed in). We were aware of the long day light, so we had eye masks to wear, so might be a good idea for you to also bring some if you're planning to visit in summer). I would recommend this as an option if you plan on staying in Tromso, it was reasonably priced, great location and amazing views!

Great experience. Location very closed to the town just walking distance as well as supermarkets. We did cooking here and enjoy our time very much here both traveling, living, and resting. Despite we got an issue to get in the room first night the staff very helpful in am and give us all reimbursement for another hotel. I would highly recommended the place if you gonna stay more than a night here in Tromso.

Was a pleasant stay overall. However would appreciate early notice if there was a room change made on the apartment end. Apartment was kept clean, though personal opinion, it might have been good to have a floor mat right outside the bathroom. Location wise is not exactly near the city centre but it is of walkable distance to many places.

The apartement rooms are really nice. We had a room with a view of the harbour site and the square. It was really nice and modern and we felt really comfortable.

Good romms, was clean, unfotunately we heard the lift signal all night (apt. 308). modern new area, good restauranrs, bakery around the corner. parking crazy expensive. try to avoid parinkg here!

Clean and modern. Two supermarkets is reachable on foot. The nearest one was 5min.

- there is a construction work going on, the sound insulation is bad so you can't sleep from 8am to 6pm - extremely unresponsive workers, didn't receive enquiries online - heater cannot be adjusted, sometimes it's too hot, sometimes it's too cold
