Totto is always great! There are very few great sushi restaurants in Paris that aren't extraordinarily expensive omakase temples. Those places aren't worth the expense in Paris IMO. But Totto is just great, fresh sushi with a wide range of fish options.

Great little japanese sushi restaurant near Place d'Aligre which serves fresh cuts. The menu is varied being able to satisfy the new comers as the experienced sushi eaters.
I really liked the subtle details, traditional japanese dishes respecting the wabi-sabi aesthetic concept as you can see in the photos, bringing you closer to an authentic nippon restaurant.
Relaxed ambiance, easy going jazz and R&B that is not too loud.
Will go back for more.

The cuts were fresh and tasty, good for the price point. However, having just one staff member to attend to the entire restaurant is inadequate, and that negatively impacted the service.
Not a bad spot, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there.

A new and very welcomed addition to the Aligre district, Totto serves excellent and authentic Japanese dishes.
Their selection of extra-fresh fishes is brilliant. The nigiri platter I had was very tasty.
Kind service and more than fair value for money at lunch!

Amazing spot for fresh authentic sushi in Paris. I came here without reservation and was able to get a seat on the sushi counter next to the chef.

The food was okay but didn’t meet my expectation with its google rating. I ordered 20 pieces sashimi and was surprised to see Chutoro in there. However, I don’t think the Chef knows how to handle this type of sashimi. The connective tissue in the tuna was not removed. You can clear see the big fibrous strands, and I can hardly chew it off.

It was literally nice place to enjoy sushi. I had Chirashi-sushi, and my husband had sushi (omakase). It includes salad, and miso soup and tap water. We made a reservation over the phone beforehand. It was full with around 10 groups customers. For lunch, it was 50€ ish. I highly recommend to go with reservation!
