DON‘T BOOK! It’s a mess! They don’t even deserve 1 star. We waited outside for more than 1 hour and tried to call them several times but nobody answered. When they finally answered they said the driver waited for 10min (at the wrong address and 1,5hours after they told us they would pick us up) and that he had left now. They said there gonna fix us and then blocked our number.

We waited one hour for our scheduled tour. Four phone calls later someone picked us up and drove us to the first stop, El Tule. The tour bus we were supposed to be on told us the moment we arrived that they were leaving. We paid to see the site and asked for 5 minutes. We hurried around the tree in 60 seconds! only to find the bus left without us again! The driver took us to the next stop for Mezcal making but by the time we arrived we missed the talk. The rest of the tour was hurried and disappointing. Monte Alban Tours is an unreliable, disorganized, untrustworthy tour company. Avoid them!

Kind of hard to give a rating. The service is only a bus ride to and from Monte Alban. The bus was ok as was the driver and it ran on time. So, this is more of a transportation service than anything else. The star rating system does not quite fit the service. However, they are dependable and the job done without fanfare.

They subcontract the tour. We had booked a tour in English and after being 30min late to pick us up, they told us that the company hadn’t told the guide that we had requested the tour in English and he didn't speak English. The guide was very helpful and found a friend that translated part of the tour in English. I payed in full for an English tour and didn't get what I paid for.

Ask for Andreas. He is personable, interesting and knowledgeable. He made our trip to Hierve el aqua, El Tule and Yagul a lot of fun! Not just a drive, a fountain of information as well. Mucho gusto Andreas!
