Scary but fun, you won’t get it unless you try

Tower of Terror, terror being the main word in their name! As fellow reviewer Abu also confirmed, it is the theme park ride pulling the most G's... in the world! At the bottom of fall where the ride levels out it pulls 6.3G. The ride that is second pulls 5.9G but was discontinued in 2001.... 2 x rows of 4 people sit behind each other. You go up the tower and sit for about 10s at the top, probably the longest 10s you will ever experience in your life. The expectation is terrifying in itself. Then you don't fall, you are catapulted (there are more colourful Afrikaans words that better describe it...) down the shaft. Going down it's best to brace your head back into the seat or you will surely hurt your neck. The whole drop to the end is probably 15s, but truly effing aggressive!

Tower of Terror- the most aggressive, scary & exhilarating ride I have been on!! You need to brace your back & neck properly or else you could injure them. The ride to the lift area is smooth but as the cart lifts onto the lift- the force is extremely aggressive as it locks the cart onto the escalation platform before you are lifted to the top so secure your positioning. The drop is both hectic and terrifying LMAO but at the same time highly addicting.....you'll want to try it again!

The tower of TERROR, is one of the most intense rides you could go ot Gold Reef City, the 90 degress drop is insane, and going in a mine, leveling out and experiecing those g forces, total killing. i went there in 2019 the last, and the g forces were killing, however, aroung 2024, the ride still is aggressive but as i remmeber, but please anyone visiting Gold Reef City, you havent experienced the whole theme park without riding in the Tower of Terror. Tips Arrive early and start with the ride before it becomes packful, we arrived at aroung 9:25 and went staright to attraction and we didnt even spend 40 minutes waiting on the line.

The most heart racing ride. Only takes 8 at a time so lines can get quite long. It consists of a short ride, lift, vertical drop, quick level out and a ride back to base.

The rides are old and need maintained. I was very nervous. The tower of terror is horrendous. The park needs a complete overhaul.

Tower of terror has to be the best ride in Gold reef city. It's absolutely terrifying, buy it's worth it.
