Gotta visit this place this past weekend with my sister and brother in law. We went to meet up with an online friend. The waitress was a little pushy and I felt rushed to order, not even a whole 5 minutes of being there. And since we were there to see a friend. We obviously hung around a while, until the manager started clearing our table. We took as even though we paid for our food and had every right to be there, we needed to leave. It was very unfortunate. Welp it was nice to meet a friend. Another problem was with the food, my sister and I shared the tenders and the nachos. Nachos were great no complaints, but the tender plate came with fries the size of toothpicks, and the tenders were kinda mostly tendon. I definitely won't be going back, it wasn't a horrible experience but it wasn't the best. So I will also not be recommending this place.

Google
I was not expecting much from a hotel bar/restaurant. But the atmosphere, service and food were all excellent. Our meals were huge and really yummy. The place was pretty busy. Definitely recommend.

I do NOT recommend this place if I could give zero stars I would. My family and I have been staying at the DoubleTree since Friday. For 2 nights in a row we’ve been attempting to have Dinner here after recommended during our check-in. There are NO welcoming staff or attendants. There has always been a wait time that would keep getting extended, and none of the employees seem friendly or helpful about it. My husband and I decided to show up at 10 PM for a drink and see how the bar service was. There was another couple ahead of us waiting and staff just walking past, with very FEW patrons and costumers, many tables open. We finally got seated at the bar and the lady who sat us down started to sweep around us which was annoying so I purposely dropped some crumbs before we left. We ordered the wings and there were freakin FEATHERS in our chicken. There is nothing “bar and grill” in this atmosphere, the only smile we got from the server was when we were leaving because they were closing. I feel bad for the elderly couple who stated he was hungry, just came in on a flight delay, and all they told them “our grill is closing in 5 minutes”

This is my second visit to Tower Tap & Grill during my business travels, and once again, it did not disappoint! The chicken tenders here are hands down some of the most delicious I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Great spot with a welcoming vibe, solid menu, and friendly service. Definitely a go-to for a satisfying meal when I’m in town!

Google
Excellent food, drinks, and service. Couldn't ask for much more that's attached to a hotel. Close proximity to the airport and has a full bar and a full food menu that will appease anyone.

Google
My wife and I went here last night, and despite it being busy, we got great service. We got the tower dip, an experiment as it’s not our usual type of appetizer. It was delicious. I got the shrimp scampi, and she got a burger and they were fantastic. She got the chocolate tort, and I went for the raspberry sorbet and it was the perfect end to our meals. We also had a few drinks, and they were great too.

Google
Fast friendly service. Great wings. Best pub in the location.

Google
Nice place to grab some late night food. They could step up the food quality just a little bit. Toss a ribeye or NY and people will buy it. The steak & Frites wasn’t great. Cesar salad was pretty good. Great size cocktails!

Yelp
I didn't have high expectations upon arrival as it is built into the side of a hotel, and I had to do a double take to make sure it was actually open. It is VERY quiet, which was weird as I thought there would be a dinner rush. The awkward silence of the restaurant could be filled with some music. Despite this, the food was really good and service was very attentive. It's definitely a nice spot close to the airport, and the kitchen moves fast so I was able to go in and out fairly quickly to catch my flight.

Yelp
Mother's Day quick stop in late afternoon for a bite to eat and drinks. We ate at the bar . Bar tender was fabulous! Attentive and helpful with menu pics ! Service was prompt and paced. It was a relaxing experience. The artichoke dip app was amazing. ! My husband Ahmad the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, it didn't last long on the plate and I had a blackened shrimp Caesar salad, dressing on the side . No leftovers ! It was delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
Our waiter didn't want to be there, he was very slow and disengaged. We watched a couple be sat and ignored for at least 5 minutes until they just ended up leaving. Food is good... I always order the Caesar salad and the Mac and cheese. Kids portion of Mac and cheese is huge - it's also kind of "grown up" so don't expect something like Kraft if that's what your kids are used to.

Yelp
Ate here night before flight and was pleasantly surprised. Had: Tower dip (good) Green chilli Nachos (good if have the appetite, we didn't finish all) Salmon (great!)

Yelp
It's delicious!! Nice little sports bar w plenty of tvs and easy to walk to from any of the airport hotels. Arrived ~ 730 on a Wed evening and were immediately seated. Didn't love where our table was (see pic) but loved the service. Friendly and efficient. Food is way better than expected. We each had the burger which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious!! Fries were excellent also, as was my beer. Easy walk from Hyatt House!

Yelp
This is overall a great hotel restaurant with close proximity to the airport. The Tower Dip is definitely the winning appetizer! It was delicious with torched cheese on top We just stopped in for apps and sides because we weren't very hungry. The sides were overpriced and lacking flavor. $7 for a small scoop of mashed potatoes or a mediocre Mac n cheese is a bit much. The service was speedy and everyone was very nice. They have a huge space, this would be really nice on a summer day when the patio seating is open! Tbh the number one reason I would come back here is for the Tower Dip - we talked about getting the dip to go and stopping by Danico Brewing Co nearby next time!

AJ N.

Yelp
No complaints. I ordered the beet pear salad with salmon and it was delish! My boyfriend got the bison burger and enjoyed it. The choices of drinks and whiskey were great too. Good atmosphere and service. Go!
google avatar

Alyssa M.

Yelp
We were seated quickly and the server was pretty attentive. I thought he seemed a little annoyed with us but that didn't change his level of service. I thought for the cost of the food, it would have been better quality. Not pictured here is the bang bang shrimp which was AMAZING. Unfortunately this place gets 2 stars because any place I wouldn't revisit gets 2 stars. The main courses were not worth it. The burger seemed like it could have been a frozen patty. The carnitas were dry and so salty. The ambiance is 2017 modern American, which was fine. Didn't check out the bathrooms.

Yelp
Two of us enjoyed a late lunch here. Service was quick, staff was friendly and they have a good tap list! We both enjoyed our meals, noting spectacular, but good food and good portions. In this specific area there are not lots of food/drink options - it's a sea of hotels. This place does a decent job and I'd eat here again without hesitation.

Yelp
I stayed in a nearby hotel and didn't want to drive, so I opted for Tower Tap & Grill. Was seated at the bar immediately, and the bar tender handed me a menu and took my drink order. I ordered a bourbon mule and bison burger with fries. The drink came quickly and was strong. The burger was out in about 20 minutes. It didn't really matter bc the patrons at the bar were friendly, and conversations were going on. The burger came out and, in typical fashion, was not cooked to a medium. It was well done. That was unfortunate because it dried the burger out. Bison is lean enough before you overcook it. The arugula was in large quantities on top, which didn't help. The fries were warm but not hot. The atmosphere helped the rating. The food i would have given a 3 the drink a 5 the patrons around the bar 5. So we will average it to a 4.

Yelp
Hotel bar so you never know what the feel will be like but overall not a bad scene. Bartender was really nice and attentive. Food- ordered Buffalo wings and they were on the mark. Maybe a tad on the overcooked side but once lathered with the spicy Buffalo it was all good. Buffalo sauce was also spicer than usually which I personally liked. Would go back if at that hotel again.

Yelp
We came her before a flight to get some breakfast and it was ok. It's great for being close to the airport but that was about the only great thing about this place. The food was nothing spectacular and did not stand out at all. We all got different breakfast plates and they screwed up something for each one. The worst one was my step dad. He was supposed to get two extra eggs with his plate and they came out late as they had forgotten them. They were supposed to be over easy and looked like they had been cooked on the grill for 30 seconds. They came out and there was so much runny white I don't know why he ate them. Later on on our flight he got sick in the airplane lavatory due to these eggs messing up his stomach. Our server Brenden was also not great and was not enthusiastic at all and was so monotone with everything. Inside it is also extremely dark even with all of the windows and I did not like that either. I will not be coming back here any time soon.

Yelp
Food was good, I asked for a rare burger and it was more like medium rare but still good. We also had another burger and regular fries, the burger was over cooked but the fried were good. Overall the food and beer were both over priced. Server was fine but nothing special.

Harold H.

Yelp
Food was amazing and also the price.Natasha the waiter was very helpful and friendly and made our experience wonderful. I would highly recommend this to anyone who stops to eat

Yelp
We went here because it was close to our hotel. It was just an ok place. Our server didn't really greet us or introduce himself and his opening line was "how far along are you?" I was baffled and he clarified "I mean far along in the menu, are you ready?" It was just an odd way to greet a table. He seemed to rush us along and when we ordered he rolled his eyes on more than one occasion. The salmon was ok but overall everyone agreed that our meals were mediocre at best.

Yelp
One night stay before catching a flight. Close to airport. Very clean. Nice choice of food. Quick service and very good food. Service is helpful and friendly. Highly recommend staying at the doubletree and eating here.

John D.

Yelp
Had a layover after my flight cancelled. The restaurant was attached to the hotel which was really convenient. Just had a beer and an appetizer which was really good. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely visit there again.

Yelp
Stopped here at 9:00 pm for a late dinner hoping that we could score a good meal even though the ratings online were not that great. The place was awesome! Our server, Jin, recommended a great beer (the Denver Gold) based on our preferences. The food was delicious! The sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp and salty. The carnita tacos are delicious, and just like Jin said, no fat to mess around with! Everything was great and great portions. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Not exactly my first choice to visit a sports bar, or a hotel restaurant, but I wanted a quick dinner on a recent business trip and didn't wanna have to walk far to get to it. (I didn't have a rental car). As far as prices, I was happy to see they were pretty reasonable. Menu consists of apps, soups/salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts. Sandwiches were 14.5-17, and most entrees were in the 18-24 range....with 1 steak at $30. So glad I skipped the $10 and $12 combo meals at the fast food places in the airport. I remembered the desk agent at Doubletree said the place was open until 10pm, so i decided to go ahead and try it out. I was likely going to order chicken wings, so how could they screw that up? I started with a Nitro Milk Stout, which was recommended as the closest beer to what I like to drink. Similar to a guiness but way better were his words. I don't drink beer often, but I thought it tasted pretty similar. I also ended up ordering wings, which come with 8 to an order, getting Buffalo and lemon pepper. Also added a cup of green chili. The food arrives and looks good. 2nd thing i noticed is that the wings were on the small side, like hooters small. They were also very salty. Other than that, they were good. The cup of green chili was also very good, but I just didn't see any pork pieces in it...as the menu indicated. Overall, not a bad spot for being inside a hotel, but expect sports bar like fare.I

Yelp
Our family had a very unpleasant experience at Tower Tap & Grill on September 20, 2024, before heading to DIA for a flight to Pensacola, FL. Although the restaurant is conveniently located near the airport, our breakfast experience was anything but smooth. Initially, everything seemed fine. The waiter took our orders without any issues, but things quickly went downhill when our food arrived. My plate, which was supposed to have two eggs, came with only one. When I pointed this out, the waiter asked if I wanted the second egg brought out - obviously, I did, since I was paying for two eggs. When my second egg finally arrived, it wasn't just late - it was practically raw. The eggs were runny and clearly undercooked, making them inedible. Frustrated, I left without finishing my meal. Within minutes of leaving, I started feeling nauseous. During our flight, my condition worsened, and I ended up vomiting violently midway to Pensacola. There is no other explanation for my sudden illness than the food I ate at Tower Tap & Grill. This was by far the worst dining experience I've had in years, and I will never be eating here again. I strongly advise anyone else to steer clear as well - it's not worth the risk.

Yelp
I had a craft beer suggested by the bartender and had the Chili Nachos with the Pulled Pork added. Both were Excellent as was the service.

Brian M.

Yelp
Food and service were...ok. Ambiance was well below the standard I would expect from Doubletree!

Dwight S.

Yelp
Underated, had the Huevos Ranchero, nice presentation, one of the best breakfast experiences that have had eating out in a long time.

Yelp
This place was awesome. Great soup, pasta, and beer. Excellent service. Well positioned TVs to watch the game. Nice friendly customers and staff. Totally recommended for the traveler.
google avatar

Pam J.

Yelp
An average hotel bar. Plenty of TVs to watch your favorite teams. Decent soup and burgers. Service is friendly but a little slow. The night we ate there it was really cold in the dining room.
google avatar

Jaime R.

Yelp
We had a great meal and great service after a long day of delayed flights and missed connecting flight. The green chili and pulled pork hit the spot.
google avatar

Erin P.

Yelp
We got the nachos which were pretty good. But we decided to leave because a server rudely asked my husband to move his chair back because it was in her way to get to another table. Even though there were three paths to get to the table. The place was nearly empty and he had moved his chair to watch a different tv.

M W.

Yelp
Food outstanding. Service excellent. Ambiance good. I always stop here when in Denver.

Nita B.

Yelp
Great place, area is comfy and beautiful, had a beer and street tacos. delicous! service was okay

Yelp
We decided to try this place last minute because it was close to our hotel and I must say we were highly satisfied!! We were greeted right away. The staff were super friendly and kind. We ordered the Green chilli nachos with carnitas and they were the best nachos we have had. Omar the bar tender was so fun and on top of our drinks. We are thankful for people like this who made our anniversary trip special and fun!!!
google avatar

Leslie B.

Yelp
Delicious. The waiter I had was excellent. Would go back in anytime. I overheard neighboring tables complimenting their food and drinks as well. The staff knew the menu and was able to help me decide on my meal after a long day.
google avatar

Yelp
I stop by for lunch. Turkey Club sandwich did great to eat. I did double ordered and a drink Total $50. Too high but bartender did great treated with deaf customers which I'm ! I'm enjoying but $$ ouch. Review says one $ but I feel two $$ for simple lunch.
google avatar

Cee T.

Yelp
2 stars because I didn't get food poisoning. This place is such a letdown after a long day of travel. All I wanted was a decent burger and nice glass of wine. After asking for their Malbec I was told they were out and given what the server called "a random glass of wine". The burger was undercooked. Medium rare to rare when I asked for medium. I left feeling even worse about being stuck in Denver.

Yelp
We stopped in here New Year Eve... the restaurant looked nice and clean. We were treated as soon as we walked in and seated in Nataliya's section. She was so nice and such a sweetie. My hub ordered the Bison burger, my little one got the Tower burger and I had the Brussels sprouts and a cup of green chili. While we were waiting we were highly entertained by the giant tv's all around the seating area. Lucky for us the TCU and Michigan playoff semi finals were on. The food came out and everything was so good. My sons medium well burger was done to perfection. We definitely loved this place and will come back again! I'm still so blown away by how clean the establishment was, even the rr was well kept. If I didn't say it already Nataliya rocked!!!

Yelp
My dear friend from high school (late 1970's graduates) and I stayed in Denver one night after attending a phenomenal retreat in Granby. I confess, we were HANGRY and dining options were limited without a car. We walked over to The Tower from our hotel. I am REALLY glad we did!! The Tower is a sports bar with a terrific diverse menu, and everything delivered with a smile. What a great start for dinner. My guest and I shared a Flatbread pizza. It was crispy, cheesy, and delicious. She had a cocktail. They have a full bar. I just had an ice cold lemonade. It was refreshing. Our server was friendly and all smiles. We felt appreciated and welcome despite the poor girl running that floor like the pro she is. For dinner, she had fish tacos that she declared as yummy. I had the bison burger, cooked to perfection (medium). I confess, I was starving and I enjoyed every bite. My side was fries. They were delivered piping hot, crispy on the outside and steaming hot but soft on the inside. Again, I ate every single one. We were too full for dessert. And I didn't get pictures. Sometimes a girl just digs in and forgets about pictures. I read the reviews before we went and I am surprised by the unfavorable reviews. Our experience was great. The food was good. It was busy but our server was on top of things and we have zero complaints. ZERO. We even ran into other retreat attendees that had popped in for carry out to their rooms. They also were happy with their dinners. So my final take... good food. Nicely seasoned. Lots of options. Friendly staff. Full bar. Plenty of alcohol free options. That's really all I expect and The Tower met all our expectations easily.

K L S.

Yelp
The ambience is ideal for after work, and travel, sometimes a bit louder than expected. Service is always a hit and miss and the food could be a little more consistent. You can't go wrong with drinks that's something that's always right. OK

Grace L.

Yelp
Convenient restaurant near the hotels, the bang bang shrimp is really good, the Nashville chicken burger is kind of sloppy and messy to eat, probably because of the added slaw and pickles. It's kind of chilly inside the restaurant. To think that it's already cold outside.
google avatar

Bryan E.

Yelp
Let's just say I had to put salt on my nachos every 3 bites. Very bland, sub-par, Denny's level food. Walk the extra 6 minutes to the new brewery!
google avatar

Hugh A.

Yelp
Great atmosphere- best server in a long time. Food chive varied. Preparation good and tasty

Ivelisse B.

Yelp
Gourmet food for good prices. We ordered the Hummus Plate, French Dip Sandwich, Black n Bleu Burger, and Tap Out Burger as well as the Chocolate Torte and Cheesecake for dessert. The hummus was served with pita and was a bit salty for my taste. The other food on the other hand was pretty good, it came out slightly cold but probably only because we had ordered so much! The Au Jus served with the French dip sandwich was flavorful as were the seasonings on the burgers. The desserts were delicious, but the cheesecake tasted somewhat plasticky. Overall , the service was great and the ambiance was very welcoming. Great place to eat, drink, and tune into your favorite sports!
google avatar

Tessa M.

Yelp
They have moscato. So this already is a win in my book as many places don't serve that, but the food was great, energy of the restaurant was super chill, they were on top of the masks, social distancing, and cleaning/sanitizing. Our server, and the hosts were super sweet and attentive. Will definitely make it back here before leaving Colorado
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
Great location near the airport, the service was great but even better the food and drinks were delicious. I order the brussel sprouts and the Colorado Cool-aid. The sprouts were cooked to perfection w the citrus glaze raising the bar. Best Brussel sprouts I've ever had. The Colorado Cool-aid is a perfect cool, summery drink. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Pleasantly Surprised!! I stopped into the Tower during a stay in Denver back in February earlier this year. I had an early flight the next day and had just driven into the airport area from business meetings in nearby Golden. I checked into my hotel and spent a couple of hours on my laptop finishing off work-related activities. A few hours later I was starving, so I Googled local places to eat, and since I wasn't in the mood for anything too expensive and didn't want to drive all the way into Denver on a snowy night during rush hour. I found the Tower Tap and Grill and it, for the most part, had positive reviews, and since it was still a little early, I knew it probably wouldn't be too busy. The Tower is a typical sports bar with plenty of seating at the bar and with tables surrounding the bar. It was quiet even though it was starting to fill up with people mostly from the local hotels. The evening sports hadn't started yet so the crowd noise was average. My server came over and noticed I was struggling with the menu, and I told her that I didn't want anything out of a can or out of a box. She laughed and said, "give me a minute, let me see what I can do". She came back a few minutes later and offered to have the kitchen whip some chicken taco's for me. How could I say no? In the meantime, I ordered an Easy Street American Pale Wheat Ale from the bar. The Chicken Tacos came out and they were very good, I could taste the background flavours and could taste that the chicken was fresh and grilled to perfection. Yes, the Tacos were very good, and I can see why Taco Night on Tuesdays is a popular night at the Tower. My server came back to my table and helped me through the menu again, and noted that I was looking for something on the lighter side. A few seconds went by and she suggested the Shrimp Scampi to me. I was a little curious as I have had heavy Shrimp Scampi in the past loaded with cream and butter and other fats, so I asked if she was sure it a 'light' dish. It turns out that is wasn't as heavy as I thought. The shrimp was not too buttery, yet plump and fresh, the kitchen staff made a wonderful light sauce for the pasta, and my pasta was cooked to a La Dente, and topped with freshly grated parmesan, which yes, I indulged in a little. I've added 3 pics for you to see for yourself. It turns out that Tower Tap and Grill was a good choice, it was close to my hotel, the service was very good and the food was pretty good. If you're staying in the hotels on or near Tower Road, I would check out the Tower Tap and Grill for a cold beer and great grub!!

Yelp
There are good restaurants in hotels and there are not-so-good ones in hotels. This is one of the not-so-good ones. We both ordered burgers and fries. Plain bar food food. The burger was a real disappointment, typical frozen meat patty without much taste or texture. The fries were kind of limp almost soggy. Service was disappointing to the point my normal 25% tip was reduced to 10% due to lack of attention. All this and it was overpriced for bar food. I was not looking for gourmet food, but Five Guys makes a much better burger. Won't make this mistake again.

Yelp
Soooo.... not coming back here... let's see how they fix this to change my mind.... First off... The silverware roll up was wet... so as I put the cloth napkin on my lap, wet.... that's cool.. -_- so I set it aside... I order nachos... the cheese is, let's say, half melted... nice that it was real cheese but still, half melted.... the server takes it back and says they will remake it... A woman comes out, Manager I'm assuming... says they use a "salamander" to cook them.... laments terms please... she offers the queso liquid cheese--gross, no thanks, just put it in longer.. right? She says the cheese will then be "really brown"... uhhhhh... I don't want burnt cheese... I never thought nachos would be so complicated... All in all, they handled the situation well, they didn't huff and puff about remaking the plate (at least not to my face, which is much appreciated)... the nachos were okay... I'm undecided on if I would return...

Yelp
I got stuck in Denver for the night when my connecting flight was canceled. I asked the desk where I should eat while staying in hotel row. I'm glad I got his recommendation. The room feels a bit underwhelming, but the chairs are surprisingly comfortable. I had the Elk Bolognese. It was very good, and reasonably priced.

Yelp
There's not much in this area as everything is very spread out in this part of Colorado. We found this place across the street from my hotel and was craving a burger so we had to stop in. It's a decent sized restaurant and because of the area wasn't very busy around lunch time. We started off with the spinach and artichoke dip and were not very impressed. It had a prominent mayonnaise flavor and was a tad greasy for my liking, however they have great happy hour deals so it's a steal if you're looking for some cheap appetizers and good drink specials. Next we moved onto the chicken Caesar salad and the mushroom and Swiss burger. The salad had homemade dressing which was excellent and the chicken had great flavor. The croutons were nice and crunchy but not stale, so it was a good touch along with the cheese on top. The burger was cooked properly and the arugula on top was nice and refreshing. It came with French fries at no added cost which were thin, nice and crunchy. Overall this is a good place to stop in and eat when you're staying near the Denver airport.

Alysa D.

Yelp
Food was decent, nothing I'd rush back for. Cheesy Mac didn't have much flavor, wings were good not great, street tacos were a hit though! Our server was GREAT! Can't remember her name but we enjoyed her. The bar was at max capacity so we were seated in a ball room which wasn't inviting to us but it worked.

Yelp
This place is attached to the Holiday Inn in the park of various hotel chains. I stopped here for a light dinner before going back to my hotel (BW). I ordered the Mediterranean platter and the roasted Brussels sprouts. The sprouts were my favorite. Spicy and sweet with bacon - sriracha drizzle with maple syrup made the crispy sprouts go down really nicely! The platter was great too. Plenty of fresh vegetables and warm pita bread!
