This is Disney's concept of offering pop up shops. The large space formerly housed Team Mickey. Now a variety of specialty stores fill the area. The original idea was to have temporary shops sell their wares here. The shops haven't changed much although they do change shape every so often. They offer some of my favorite merchandise in Disney Springs.
The first store is D-Tech on Demand where you can purchase customized smart phone cases and magic bands. A base phone case is $29.99, more if you want your name on it and a magic band is $24.99, again more if it's personalized.
WonderGround Gallery sells creative art. Prices range from a few dollars for a post card to thousands of dollars for original art works. Some popular pieces include hipster Mickey staring at his smart phone, big eyed princesses, and reworked ride posters that depict characters as children,
Disney TAG sells travel merchandise. You can find all manner of items related to luggage and travel such as pricey suitcases, bags, tags, and neck pillows.
One of my favorite stores is the Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane which sells expensive and adorable retro Disney dresses and accessories. The prints are based on attractions and characters. My top finds were the Haunted Mansion set featuring a ballroom dress, the tight rope girl dress from the stretch painting, and the Dooney and Bourke bag in the wall paper print. I also loved the dress in the Tiki Room print. Everything is very unique and well made and the price tag matches the quality of the pieces.
Another of my favorite stores is Disney Centerpiece. They carry all of the items you need so someone can be your guest! Plates, table linens, center piece items, and silverware are some of the items you can purchase. I loved the Haunted Mansion display set up in anticipation of Halloween. They have an apron that looks like the outfit worn by the ride operators as well as ornaments and mugs in the wall paper print.
Twenty-Eight and Main carries a more expensive and sophisticated line of Disney souvenirs. You can buy T Shirts, hats, socks, and backpacks. They carry a vintage line that showcases the past of the Disney Parks. The 28 in the stores name references 1928, the year Mickey was created and the Main is for Walt Disney's beloved Main Street in his home town. Some of the defunct rides like Mr. Toad and 20,000 Leagues under the Sea are memorialized on T Shirts here. Sometimes a shirt is offered for a limited time.
With some many stores offering unique products this is a stop in Disney Springs worth your time and money. Even if you don't intend to spend it is still fun to look at around at all of the one of a kind merchandise. This is a dream come true for the ultimate Disney fan.
