"Grab a slice of NYC style pizza here. Of course you'll want to order a whole pie because they're so good. They do NYC style pizza really well and their signature flavors are unforgettable. Our favorite is the fresh mushrooms sautéed w/garlic & fresh rosemary, yes, sautéed. Other popular pies include a molé pizza and a hearty roasted beet pizza, it's great. You can't miss this bright red pizza spot." - Friend of a Friend

This is an Occidental college staple for a reason! The venue was really nice, and the staff were really kind and patient. The food was really good too, and the pizza was very tasty. I was not expecting the square pizza to be a deep dish but it was really delicious! I hope to come back here!

My son heard so much hype about this place and really wanted to try it. Unfortunately, the pizza is underwhelming. We liked the prosciutto sage burrata appetizer, it came with 4 slices of very delicious rosemary focaccia. The pizza is just ok. The pizza crust was crispy instead of chewy and hardened before we could finish our food. The toppings were minimal on both the Cosmos and meat lovers pizza. Our server was nice and attentive but it’s not worth coming back.

I been wanting to try this pizzeria for a while now! The menu was surprisingly simple. Of course they had a huge selection of pizza and custom pizzas, personally I like an option of different appetizers but they only offered some salads. The pizza was good, the crust was thin yet super fluffy. I have to say it was a little on the more expensive side but overall a great experience. The service was amazing and attentive. They have this super cool $5 film b&w photo booth which was super fun!

Great pizza spot in Highland Park! Plenty of vegan and gluten-free options, although the gluten-free crust could be improved. Generous portions for a decent price. Cosy atmosphere with wooden booth seats and funky music.

I love the atmosphere of this place and the pizza is just completely amazing!!! We got the Cosmos mushroom pie and added pepperoni. Highly recommend!

It’s so difficult to find a solid pizza spot, but one that has a bar and immense wine list?! The char on the crust and the selection of toppings set this spot apart from the rest. Plus, Aby the bartender truly knows her wine and beer!

Google
The service is great, and the atmosphere is fine, but they could use some improvement on the food. My mushroom pizza was quite heavy on the arugula & very light on the mushrooms. Nowhere as good as Triple Beam on Figueroa.

This place is Awesome and to me they make the BEST PIZZA in Highland Park! Ive been to many pizza locations around highland park and eagle rock and Town Pizza is STILL THE BEST. The pizza is Large specially the 18 inch that we always get and my favorite part besides their pizza sauce is the Crunchy Crust!!!! It's soooooo Good! The pizza is priced a little high but other places near by charge even more. So if you want some good tasting pizza, try Town Pizza! Every time i come to pick up my pizzas which i come here every two weeks, its always hot. They dont offer me condiments like they do to everyone else, not sure why but im too shy to ask for it because im not sure if the Condiments are still free or if they are charging for them like all the other pizza places ive been to. Anyways 5 stars for the flavor, 4 stars for the service. 👍😁

Yelp
Great vintage design aesthetic . Pizza was great! And the beer was refreshing. Service was friendly, even though our order was incomplete. Would still come back.

Yelp
the product: this "pizza" is THE MOST UN-pizza. ever. hands down. by miles. It's like, "how can we totally make the complete antithesis of pizza?" congrats. it's perfect. the people: nice. the atmosphere: ----

Yelp
Do not order the Detroit pizza. What's normally the delicious edges is delivered burnt and inedible and when I complained about it they said they always do that. That was the preview for a disastrous meal that included being sent the wrong pizza and the right pizza being tasteless. Don't get a thick crust pizza here. Get it from Doughbox instead. This was the worst meal I've ever had here.

Yelp
Service, no service, bad service. We had a reservation for 10, when we showed up the male host said sorry I can't help you, didn't care that we had a reservation. He said it would take an hour, we said ok, then he said it would take 2 hours, he clearly did not want to help. As we were there, 2 tables got up and left as they were not being helped, totally ignored. The male host was so rude and stoped our conversation to smash a cockroach in front of us. This is sad, this is usually my go to place but with service like this, it's going down. I know I can't come back. I've never seen this gentleman.

Yelp
Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Ambiance 9/10 Town pizza lived up to the hype! Came here to eat with a group of friends and have since been back twice! My go to here is definitely the Sausage and Caramelized Onion Pizza! Try it, trust me on this. Cannot go wrong with anything else but that pizza makes this drive worth it. Be prepared to wait for the pizza to come out, but the ambiance adds to the experience. Cool place, definitely add on your list to check out!

Yelp
I'm surprised I haven't reviewed Town already. I stopped in for a slice when they first opened in 2014. I remember it being particularly good, so I ordered a whole pie for takeout on another occasion. It was even better than the slice. I came here a few days ago to pick up a few slices. The pies in the case looked like they had been there for a while. It was 2:00 p.m. on a Sunday and they had been opened since noon. I was about to leave when the Classic Detroit came out of the oven, which I wanted to try. I asked for it to go along with a slice of regular cheese so I could compare the two. The cheese was on a thin crust. The outer edge was crispy and more like a cracker. I prefer it to be a bit more bready. The cheese didn't fully melt so there wasn't any cheese pull. It seemed like it had been sitting out longer than a few hours. The Classic Detroit was a bit better. However, I'd call it "Detroit inspired" as opposed to classic. It was more like a focaccia topped with sauce and a little bit of cheese. The sauce was good, but the center portion could have been softer. I regret not reviewing this place on my first visit because the pizza was much better back then. There is a sit-down dining room next-door to the takeout area with a bar that serves beer & wine. I may come back and try dining in. *Vegan & Gluten Free pizza available *Metered street parking & residential parking.

Yelp
I love getting pizza by the slice! The guys here are so chill too. They get us in and out of there quick. Mushroom rosemary slices at 4.5$ ish a pop. Perfectly light, crispy savory flavorful Just good. Never been to the restaurant side but i think I prefer the dark standup bar eating situation anyway. Street parking and a paid lot right around the corner from here so easy to get in and out. Plus, it's central to other bars and bites nearby in case you feel like mixing it up at a few places.

Yelp
Delicious pizza, great ambiance for catching up with friends, and they even have a vintage photo booth! I'm a sucker for photo booth so you know we had to try it out too. We ordered the garlic rosemary pizza, and there were 3 options for sizes. We shared two 10 inch pizzas between 2 people and it was def worth it. Service was great too, very welcoming employees.

Yelp
The pizza does take a little while to get served. We waited about 20 minutes for our two Medium Round Pizza. We got a Pepperoni and Bacon & Pineapple. They are made with a thin crust and don't make you feel bloated or terrible after eating. They were delicious and packed of flavor. I definitely tasted the freshness of the ingredients. I will add that the crust isn't soggy either from being thin so it was a 5/5 for me. The ambience is very chill and well lit for a pizza place. I definitely enjoyed the convenience of the cheese, pepper and oregano condiments already in the table. My only complaint is that the servers aren't very personable and are very curt in their responses and answers. Their behavior is something to be desired however they aren't lazy which would've condemned the restaurant in my opinion.
google avatar

Denis S.

Yelp
Pizza and beer, what could be better? Seriously, I'm asking, what could possibly be better? They sell pizza by the slice and as entire pies. I tried the bacon and pineapple (their version of a Hawaiian) and it was great. Service was friendly and fast. Great spot to stop in or take out.

Yelp
7.3/10 I come to LA about once a month from Orange County and this time I grabbed a bite at Town, a local pizzeria, and it was delicious. Actually, this is long overdue since my first visit in October 2022 and I would definitely go out of my way to come here. My friends and I tried: Pepperoni Slice $4 | Housemade Sausage Slice $4 | Zetta's Pesto Slice $4.50 | Classic Detroit Slice $5 | Side of Ranch $2. I don't yet have a favorite but maybe when I come back next. Town's got that classic thin-crust goodness reminiscent of New York-style pizza, one of the best American foods. Tangy tomato sauce, premium cheese, and delicious toppings with a good balance of flavors. And those crispy, charred crust edges? Absolute perfection. Their crust has a nice chew to it, not overly crispy, unlike a cracker. They use cup pepperoni which I know a lot of people like, and while I normally prefer flat pepperoni, these are good. I like that their sausages were evenly dispersed throughout the pizza. Zetta's Pesto is nicely balanced and so is the Classic Detroit. The thickness in the Classic Detroit is perfect, just how I like it and not overly thick. As a snack, one slice is perfect but if I'm making a meal out of it, I could eat two. I eat a lot of pizza so I know a good slice when I taste one. I am a lover of Pizzanista but Town might surpass them. While it doesn't quite reach the level of true New York-style pizza, it's close and will satisfy your cravings combined with the fact that it's hard to find good New York-style pizza in OC, LA County or even Socal as a whole. I wasn't able to find anything on their website regarding them using eco-packaging or their sustainability efforts. They're located on a small main street. Other reviewers said that they have a small free parking lot. I didn't notice this so I did metered street parking on a small side street, and didn't have much difficulty finding a spot on a Sunday around 5 PM. There's also metered street parking on the main street. The inside is cute and casual and the service was friendly. On the slices and takeout side, there is some inside and outdoor seating. They have a pizza display with all the slice options. There was no wait to place an order, only took a few minutes for them to reheat the slices. They also have another side for dining in. Whether you're grabbing a quick by-the-slice or settling in for a cozy dine-in experience, they've got you covered. I think for the quality and quantity, the price is just right.

Yelp
Yummy!! We ordered an 8x10 Classic Detroit square and a 14" Half Sautéed mushroom and rosemary and Half pepperoni pie. It took a reasonable amount time for fresh pies 30/35 min and when we arrived they where piping hot. The people working were so sweet while singing along with the track playing with smiles for days. We will be ordering again for pick up and eating in, in the future.

Yelp
Pizza and focaccia were okay. Server was friendly. It is a good place for families with children. Street parking is available.

Yelp
We made our way to TOWN after a lovely afternoon hanging out in Highland Park. It's a bit darker inside compared to outside, so it took a moment to adjust our eyes. We were seated quickly, and once we made our order (the Jalapiña Pepperoni pizza for my boyfriend, and The Pig & the Fig pizza for me), we settled in with our ciders and an entertaining view of pedestrian traffic on York. The pizza was so good! I enjoyed the crunchy thin crust and the deliciously salty toppings on each slice - all the better to wash them down with a nice cider. My boyfriend really liked his as well. (The leftovers made a perfect breakfast, FYI). We will be back.

Yelp
Walk in the corner door for a slice of pizza.... or two... or three. The dough is OK but they get it nice and thin and crispy. It's good solid pizza. - Cheese pizza 5/5 The Cheese and sauce of this thin crust really shines. It was my favorite out of the three I got to try. [RECOMMEND] - Pepperoni pizza 2.5/5 It was a very very salty pizza... way too salty for a slice. - Zetta's Pesto 4.5/5 Overall a pretty good pizza. Would like more sauce on it. Small parking lot in the back, or street parking. I heard there's dining next door. Will come to try.
google avatar

Grace C.

Yelp
Torn between 3 stars and 4 stars because the food is good but we waited for over an hour for them. I think they serve a solid pizza - the crust has gotten better overtime but the winners are their fresh topping ingredients. Their drink selection is also great. Ambiance is chill yet bougie - I felt super comfy wearing my sweats. And it is a decent option when the line at Joy gets super long, which is what happened the most recent time when I went! The reason for 3 total stars because the most recent trip to TOWN - we waited for more than 1 hour! The reason given was that there was a big party so they were struggling to even fulfill that order before everyone else's. The service is also like weirdly lax and impersonal and seemed disorganized, but everyone was still nice. But yeah, waiting 1 hour for pizza is like I should've just waited in line for Joy.

Yelp
What the hell happened to this place? This used to be our FAVORITE place for pizza. Service was friendly, pizza was consistently great, sitting at the bar was a vibe, could always grab a quick, solid slice. Perfect. We went last night and waited wellllll over and hour for a medium pepperoni pizza and a small cheese??? How???? Also we were the only patrons in the dining room... They didn't have half of the wines on their list and we kept having to walk up to the bar to get more drinks. When the pizza FINALLY arrived it was burnt to shit and so hard. The crust was like a rock. I like a "well done" pizza but this was almost inedible and the dough texture was just nothing like how it was. When we were leaving I peeked into the slice side to see if maybe those pies were better but they looked just as bad! I'm so sad!!! What happened???
google avatar

Yelp
A great pizza is hard to come by but sure enough this place does not disappoint it definitely hits the spot. Thin crust extra toasty is my go too. Pepperoni was on point cheese was on point. Service was quick and easy and the vibe definitely made me feel welcome. No complaints.

Yelp
Old school pizza restaurant vibe. Was excited to try this place but was underwhelming, unfortunately. Service was soooo slow. Took forever for our pizzas to come out. Burrata was the best thing. Def get one of those. Good selection of wine glasses. Order two pies - mushroom + rosemary, and a half pep and cheese. For both pies, you'd take a bite and the cheese would just come right off. Not cool. I don't want to eat a glob of cheese only. Pizza flavors were good, but crusts were super tough. Took a lot of effort to cut our slices. Mushroom rosemary was good, but also very heavy on the aromatics. Wouldn't come back.

Yelp
Town Pizza on York in Highland Park is a hidden gem that truly delivers on taste and quality. They are open at 4pm. You can buy large single slices or a whole pie. It took me several visits before I realized they have a complete restaurant next door. The menu at Town Pizza offers a wide variety of options that cater to all tastes. Whether you're in the mood for classic cheese pizza or craving something more adventurous like their signature BBQ chicken pizza, you won't be disappointed. Each pizza is made with care, using only the freshest ingredients and a perfectly thin and crispy crust that's sure to satisfy. Aside from their amazing pizza, Town Pizza also offers an array of delicious appetizers and salads. The garlic knots are a must-try, as they are soft, buttery, and loaded with flavor. The Caesar salad is also a standout, with its crisp romaine lettuce, homemade dressing, and generous sprinkling of Parmesan cheese. The staff at Town Pizza is knowledgeable about the menu and are always happy to offer recommendations based on your preferences. As far as friendly my last visit there not so much. She just did the minimum of what is required. She took the order and cashed us out. It was a slow night only 4 other tables were in use. She didn't even bring us the pie nor checked on us to see if we were satisfied or needed anything. As for the pie we ordered which I have not had before is their take on a Detroit style. They make in house their own focaccia bread. Which I have had previously. Town Pizza uses their Focaccia bread as the crust for their Detroit Style Pizza. So you end up with an extremely thick crust about an inch. We ordered the Medium. It is enough for 2 people. 3 if you're not hungry. My only complaint is the pizza sauce. It is added on after the pizza. Which is fine. But the sauce doesn't match the temperature of the pizza. Meaning they put a cold or cool temperature sauce on it. I feel the sauce should match temperature of the pie. So, you don't get warm and cold. In terms of pricing, Town Pizza offers great value for the quality of food you receive. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave satisfied without breaking the bank. Overall, Town Pizza on York in Highland Park is a top-notch pizza place that ticks all the boxes. Delicious pizza, hopefully next time friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere make it the perfect spot for a casual dinner. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
I'm really sad to give this restaurant such a low rating because it used to be amazing but the service has gone way down since covid. My fiancé and I went here for dinner after I talked it up and though the food was decent, the service was awful. Let me start by saying our waitress was not checking up on us and then I found lipstick on my fiancés cup... DISGUSTING. I flagged the waitress down since she was so focused on her larger party and I showed her the cup while also explaining that I had no lipstick. She looked at it and realized they didn't clean the cup correctly but just said oh sorry and grabbed it then walked off. We had to ask about our drinks that never came after the food did. Extremely disappointed in the service. Having clean glasses isn't too much to ask.

Yelp
Town Pizza is the go-to Pizzeria on York Blvd in Highland Park . You can order by the slice or dine-in and get a whole. My wife and I went early for happy hour (4pm-6pm) and tried the fig & the pig. Prosciutto, ricotta, and dried fig on a pizza? 10/10. Also the photo-booth in the back is a must before heading out.

Yelp
Have always passed by this place and decided to give it a try... Maybe it was because it was a Tuesday night... but we've been here an hour and pizza still hasn't come out. Service isn't really there then again there's a large party next to us, perhaps that's why... We got water, salad, bread, drinks... but pizza has yet to shown up. Idk should we have just ordered more apps and skipped the pizza entirely? Thinking this is hype at this point but again, an hour, for a 2.5 topping pizza not sure time over pizza if this is a repeat. Well the pizza finally came out. Honestly it could have been better; for sure it was underbaked but the crust and toppings were good, not sure if the sauce may have been a tad too watery, it's baked fine at the bottom but under the cheese it was soggy not runny, more like undercooked.
google avatar

Carson M.

Yelp
Ordered online, showed up at the designated time to pick up my food... the place was in chaos. The seeming manager seemed epically stoned, confused by both his customers and his co-workers. My hangry wife was texting me. I didn't know what to do. My lovely evening became unduly stressed. I cursed the modern world. I envied the caveman. I cancelled my order. I won't be going back.

Yelp
Such a disappointment to post such a negative review, because I'm a local, and have been going to town for while now. It used to be a busy and bustling family-friendly place, however now plays random music playlists and is usually almost empty. First off, we ordered two pizzas. The first one came after about 30 minutes, and the second after 1 hour and 45 minutes. First pizza was soggy and messy. Second one was very hot, and right out of the oven, which would usually be nice, however made it so that we would have to wait even longer to eat it. Focaccia bread was delicious, however wasn't enough while we were waiting with our hungry and screaming child for dinner. One of the bartenders accidentally poured two drinks, and the server apologized, however they tried to charge us for a complimentary beer, which we had to request to be fixed. One of our servers had said that our cheese pizza would have a discount, however was again, charged for even though, once again, it was said to be complimentary. We had to get that fixed as well, and they then brought us two checks. Despite some minor mishaps in the kitchen, the service seemed very hardworking, and attempting to improve their unfortunate situation. Appreciate the effort, and will be coming again, however expect better from what used to be a superb local dinner spot.

Yelp
Service: 2/10 food took 20 minutes longer than the estimated time Ambiance: 6/10 Food: 7/10 pretty doughy

Yelp
Stumbled upon Town Pizza with my partner on a Saturday night. There was a 10 minute wait time so we decided to order a drink at the bar and take some photos in the Photo Booth. Ambiance inside was nicely dim and perfect for a date night. Food was good but the service was very S L O W W W W. My partner and I both agreed that the bar area gave faster service than our waiter. I think at one point our waiter had help (thankfully) but that was already towards the end of our visit. I'm not even sure if this guy even knew he was going slow but this place definitely needs some more help. We ordered the: Housemade Foccacia - must order! We requested it be double toasted 10/10!! Mushroom & Rosemary Pizza - delicious and tasted fresh Meat Lovers Pizza - could have used a bit more toppings (see my posted picture) Will attempt to visit this place again because the pizza was so good. Hopefully service is better the next time.

Yelp
Came here near closing time for some food before continuing the night We ordered individual slices from the side with the pizzas displayed. We later found out that there is a sit-down area next door like a restaurant. The interior has a nice retro vibe. I got slices of the Sausage and the Jeff pizzas. The Jeff pizza may be a seasonal/daily thing since it did not have a printed label like the rest of the pizzas. Sausage Pizza - They heat up the thin crust pizza before serving, so it is warm and crunchy when you bite into it. It honestly was a good slice of pizza but did not blow my mind. It hit the spot when I needed it. It also was not greasy at all, so I actually went and got another slice! Jeff Pizza - This pizza was a little spicy and was definitely more complex in flavor. Again, it was not greasy and tasted really good with the feta and pepperoni slices. This one was also thin crust, which I like! Maybe it was the time at which I went, but to me, nothing really stood out to me. The pizza was good but did not leave me craving more.

Yelp
Pizza was meh, but dude, if you are gonna charge about $75 for 3 pizzas, and tell me it's gonna be 50 minutes to get them, put those suckers under a heat lamp to keep them warm. When I returned after the indicated 50 minutes, the pizzas were over the oven without any real way keeping them hot. By the time I got to my friend's place just 10 minutes away the pies were cold. Years ago I worked for Dominos and they put the pizzas under a heat lamp to keep them warm for their customers. For the price difference, I'm 100% gonna do to dominos and get hot pies. I guess what I'm saying is get some heat lamps (do you have them?) or something to keep pizzas hot if you are gonna charge that much for pretty basic pizza. Likely not returning.

Yelp
Let's start off with I absolutely love this place. I am a local and I come here a lot. But today has got to be by far the worst experience I have had. And I considered a lot of things like it's a Friday and they are most likely busy. But: 1. We sat at the bar ( ordered our food and drinks) and about 20 min later we got a table ( I'm thinking cool we actually got a table)... we sat down and 40 min later no one had checked on us, no refill on water, no one asked if we needed a drink...heck no one even say anything to us. 2. Our food didn't come until an hour later and no one even said why.... I understand places get busy but it's all about communications... at this point the restaurant wasn't as busy but yet somehow we were left in the cold and no explanation was given or an apology and mind you I had to pay for my entire bill not even my sparkling water was discounted.

Yelp
Arugula salad was ok but wow the server we had was super unpleasant. He was Asian and maybe in his 30's and had a really bad attitude. It seemed like he was the only server there so my best friend and I were super patient but he literally threw wet menus at the table. Everytime we asked for something, he just had a bad attitude and gave us dirty looks. Like sir BFFR
google avatar

Sooki L.

Yelp
I hear you're closing. I'm not surprised. As many have said, including myself and my partner, unless you're white you get shitty service like completely forgetting our order and not letting us know until we ask an hour later where our pizza is. This issue was never addressed by the manger or owner, the server could have cared less. Adios to your poor service we experienced multiple times!
google avatar

Phillip B.

Yelp
Once upon a time this was an amazing pizza establishment. In the past 6 months they have become the butt of a joke. The quality had diminished to an unrecognizable point from the original pizza. It is now akin to arcade bar pizza. Aside from the quality the big kicker is that you are given pick-up times that are at least 30 min to 2 hours inaccurate. A great establishment that had very clearly failed its loyal customers.
google avatar

Lizzie L.

Yelp
Loved the food and service at this place. The gluten free crust is thin and crispy with just enough chew to make you not miss regular pizza dough. Their salads were fresh and they have a nice selection of wines. Wil definitely be back.
google avatar

Samantha L.

Yelp
The best pizza in town!! So yummmyy wish they were open a little earlier sometimes! Big slices at a good price !

California P.

Yelp
The food at Town Pizza was fine but there are definitely better places in south pas and the SGV for pizza, value and a friendly atmosphere. Half of the wait staff was adequate, and the other half could hardly be bothered to help you. It created an unwelcoming atmosphere, and I doubt we'll come back here. It's too bad because it a great location and a roomy restaurant. Overall , it was a disappointment.

Yelp
Pretty darn good slice -- thin and crunchy and greasy (these are good things imho). Take out side and a restaurant side. Restaurant looks fine.

Yelp
I love Detroit style pizza so I'm on a mission to try them all in LA. I had high expectations of TOWN since I read many great reviews. I would give it 3.5 if I could. It's good but not a place I'd go back over other Detroit style pizza places. We also tried the beet salad which was missing something. Good to try but likely won't go back.
google avatar

Andy B.

Yelp
The Detroit style pizza is one of the best pizzas in LA. The service is terrible. I've worked in restaurants and I never complain about service but this place is consistently the worst service of all the places we frequent. We've had a helpful server once in the couple years we've been going there. Yelp says they close at 10 and we got there around 830. They said they don't make any salads or appetizers after 8 so you can only order pizza. That's weird. It takes forever to get a beer. 15 minutes after seated, zero drinks delivered. Drinks finally arrive and the pizza arrives soon after. I try to wave a server for 5 minutes to a second beer. They swing by at 9:01 and tell me I can't order a beer cause they close at 9. It doesn't say that anywhere and they didn't mention it either. There's 4 other tables eating but we are stuck with water. The other tables will be there till at least 930... Do yourself a favor and get the food to go. The Detroit pizza is absolutely worth getting. The bartender and wait staff are completely uninterested in doing their jobs so we will be strictly doing to go from now on.

Yelp
Ordered a vegan pizza with fried sage for delivery on DoorDash. Paid for expedited delivery. Driver had to wait a long time for our pizza and was given the wrong one. Called Town and got the most incompetent and rude response ever- we'd have to wait at least 45 min for them to make another pizza because it will be the last order in the queue. You mess up our order and cannot expedite our pizza?!?! Smh!‍ Person answering phone was a jerk. I'm local and will NEVER order from here again. Amazing thing was the DoorDash driver was the NICEST and DoorDash refunded us. Gave the plain cheese pizza we received to our neighbor.

Yelp
I was invited to this place by some friends of mine and I liked it very much. It's got a cool old-school ambiance inside with good seating. The pepperoni jalapiña pizza was delicious.

Yelp
Ordered two regular and one gluten-free pizza. They apparently don't know that the GF pizza should not go in for as long as the others. Arrived burnt. Nobody thought to check the order before sending. No response to my email.

Yelp
We love this place. It's a neighborhood staple. The pies are all awesome and the deep dish Detroit style are irresistible. The staff is great and the veggie options are spot on. I wish they could convert the parking lot in the back to outdoor seating because we live in LA...and maybe a different special every week or month would keep things interesting we'd go even more frequently than we already do. :) WE LOVE TOWN PIZZA

Yelp
We ordered two pizzas - cheese & pepperoni on a Friday night. The wait would be 45 minutes. Cheese - the crust was a little chewy. The pizza crust was super thin so it was a little floppy and soggy from the sauce and oil. The sauce was on the sweeter side. Pepperoni- the pepperoni curled into a little cup which is one of my favorite types of pepperoni. However, it made the pizza a little oiler than the cheese. The pepperoni helped balanced the sweetness from the sauce. Overall, it would've been nice if it was left in the oven for another minute or two so the crust wouldn't be As floppy and soggy from the sauce and oil.

Yelp
Great local pizza place that gets very busy at night. Wait can be a bit long for the restaurant for the pizza so we recommend getting an app to hold you over. We've had several kinds of pizzas there on their different crusts & each was really good. Definitely recommended if in the Highland Park area.

Yelp
Food is delicious! We each ordered our own Pizzas. I had the pepp & sausage personal size pizza. I loved it! Thin crust. My son had the Detroit. It was amazing! Thick, almost like focaccia, with bacon, bell peppers, jalapeños and mushrooms. My husband got the personal size pepp/sausage and jalapeño, thin crust. Service was great! Attentive. Food takes a while to come out, but don't be disappointed by this as the pizzas are made to order-FRESH! You will appreciate the time it took to get your food. Ambience, dim lighting, ceiling chandeliers and wall harbor lighting. Dark cherrywood wooden tables. There is a bar towards the back. Vino was good. I got the house red, Cicada. My husband got the blonde beer. Parking, plenty. There is a public parking next to the pizza joint and street parking. We give this place two thumbs up and highly recommend. We have found our pizza place. Cheers!

Yelp
Grateful to find slices (a rarity in LA) and vegan options I ordered the mushroom rosemary and Follow Your Heart cheese slice! Delicious, except they forgot the rosemary, for which I asked and (after much back and forth with the 27 cooks and a proposed "fresh pizza") - won fresh rosemary on said slice. The slice was overdone in the reheat phase but still tasty. So much so that having finished my root beer, I ordered a second slice. This one had rosemary onboard and was again reheated into near vitrification. Why not have warmer lights in the display case or warmer coils beneath the pies so that reheat isn't necessary? Okay, love you bye!

Yelp
So, just order a pizza and a salad on the door dash. 2.5 hours waiting. Pizza came, no salad. Now I have to deal with the process of jumping though hoop for a refund. It's a drag. Thank you TOWN
