Location is a HUGE plus. It is right in the middle of everything downtown, literally EVERYTHING you want to see in Nassau is in walking distance. The staff are pretty friendly and helpful, especially Stoney. Upon arrival, the taxi driver didn't have change and front desk was kind enough to change my $100 bill to smaller amounts. If not, I would've had to give it all to the taxi driver so thank you for that! They clean your room and change your towels everyday even if you didn't ask for it. Of course we met the famous parrot (name is Max) which is in the lobby. They also have an on-site bar/restaurant. They have nice views whether your room is facing the pool or the city street. We went on a Christmas day so going to see Junkanoo parade/festival was pretty easy for us, we literally had to walk few steps to watch it.

Staff was really friendly. The place has an olde hotel Bahamian charm you wouldn't find in one of the hotel chains. If you don't stay for the night than at least stop by for happy hour and enjoy the lobby.

The worst customer service ever. We have stayed at hotels in 10 different countries, and this is the first and only hotel I have ever cancelled my booking after a phone call regarding an incorrect amount we were charged for our reservation. Immediately, the receptionist had attitude and hung up on us mid conversation and when we patiently called back and asked for a confirmation email of the refund, they hung up on us again. We immediately canceled our reservation so fast. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

This hotel is very old and not fancy, but it is unique and has a lot of character. The room was clean, the bed was good, the breakfast was sufficient, and the front desk was extremely courteous and helpful. Located in the heart of downtown Nassau, it was the perfect location for what I needed. They could consider adding a few more items to the breakfast selection.

I just didn't like my stay. The rooms's were dirty there was a dead mouse under our bed and the food juat wasn't nice at all so i really wouldn't recommend it because me and my girlfriend just weren't intrested in it anymore so we don't go.

The room is dirty, the manager is rude, but the worst part is that they have a live parrot inside that doesn’t move for days. They just abuse an animal until he can’t stand no more. It’s so cruel I will fight for the bird to be removed from this hell.shame on owners

The rooms are clean, and the Chef's curry lamb was tender and delious. It's location is great with a short walk to all the down town shopping. I stayed here before my dive trip and can't wait to come back and explore Nassau properly with the rest of the family.

For 2 stars hotel it deserves 2 stars only. Everything is very old. Initially the room was clean but during the day the floor and the bed were covered with termites and other bugs - like worms or like centipede. The restaurant is good with variety of choices to eat and drink. The best of the hotel is its location. It's in the city centre/downtown and it is close to the cruise terminal. Walking distance to bars and restaurants.
