Toyoko INN Asahikawa Station Ichijodori

Rooms are same as other branch of Toyoko inn hotels, simple but all you want from business hotel. Beware of your scheduled time to check in at this hotel,my group was late ,2rooms from my reservation was canceled. (I really forgot what time I've made it on the reservation) The receptionist told me to make a new reservation with a bit higher prices for 2rooms 2 nights .So far,my credit card is still charged as 'no show' for 1 night ,does anyone know how long will it takes to get refund?

I stayed for two nights and didn’t have much interaction with the staff, so it’s hard to comment on the service, but at the very least, there was nothing negative. The room was clean, and although the furnishings and facilities are a bit dated, they were still well functional and didn’t cause any discomfort. The location of hotel is excellent. My main complaint would be the very poor sound insulation! I could hear voice even snores from the neighbor room, and occasionally some odd sounds came from within the walls, possibly from the plumbing. Another issue was the air conditioning. It was positioned directly facing the bed, so no matter how I adjusted the angle, the airflow blows directly on me.

Toyoko-inn is always my prefer choice of hotel when visit Japan. It’s good location, cleanliness, facilities & free breakfast lol.This time, it also did not fail me. Will book again if I to visit ASAHIKAWA next time.

Always the best for me. Not far from JR station, around with a lot of restaurant and department store, staff is polite, and breakfast will change everyday. Recommend for everyone, and recommend to make a member card for any useful from this chain hotel.

A very uncomfortable accommodation. The room is arranged on the highest floor, and continuous mechanical vibrations can be heard in the room all the time, probably from large equipment on the rooftop

The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from the JR station, which is very convenient. Do join their membership as it offers good savings. We stayed over the weekend and got a 20% discount which is already more than the (one-time) membership fee itself (1500 JPY).||||On tuesday-wednesday-thursday they serve simple curry rice dinner. The breakfast was simple but satisfactory. They have a microwave, oven and water dispenser at the lobby, as well as laptop and printer which are free to use.||||The only complaint I have would be the wi-fi which is quite slow and sometimes won't work.

Great hotel. Price quality ratio is on point. Breakfast varies by the day, is free, and delicious. Tues-Thurs Japanese curry free is a nice bonus. Easy location, near the station. Great WiFi. Great shower. Basic decor.
