Tōyoko Inn Hokkaidō Okhotsk Abashiri Ekimae

Room was clean and breakfast was good. Coffee abit too light for my preference. The room I’m staying is a premium room so it had air purifier and hair dryer and curler. There is ample carpark and also a carpark lift behind. Parking is free for guest. Train station is just across the road so it’s very convenient. There is a steak place just beside the restaurant and the convenient stall is around 500m walk away. 5 mins drive to Overall was happy staying in this place. Aurora drift ice is around 5 mins drive away.

“3 Single room stay n 1 Double room” The hotel staff are very responsive and warm whenever I message them for enquiries before my trip. They can speak simple english. A male older staff was very helpful with my check in, reservation of a restaurant and a taxi to there. On the 3rd day, the staff Ms UNO helped me to book a restaurant when many were closed on that day. She would also checked with me if any issue with distance incase the restaurants were too far and need a taxi. On another check on transport to airport, she helped me check on taxi availability and shared with me on airport bus option and timing. Although she did not has too much smile on her face, I appreciate her help and her thoughtfulness. As for the hotel room and facilities, I am very happy with it. Single room is not small. V clean, v cozy and enough lightings. So comfortable to me. I am very grateful they helped with my request to put all our 3 rooms and another double room on the same floor and besides it. Very happy with that arrangement. There are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers n I have no issue when I use it. Breakfast is simple and good enough for me. Kitchen staff worked hard and showed care for the guests with their food. Location is good that it is opposite the JR station and the tourist information centre n v near to airport bus stop. The lady staff at the tourist info centre speaks excellent english. You need old notes to exchange coins in the bus if you are taking bus there. The hotel is not too far to more restaurants area n a big supermarket as well as convenience shop. Behind the hotel is a river n you can take a walk there. There is one very nice Italian food (pork,wagyu etc) restaurant Arcadia just opp the hotel. I would stay again the next time because I felt the care of the staff, good location, good room n facilities. It is value for money too. Thank you for part of making my trip good.

This hotel operates efficiently with self check-in, no daily housekeeping (once every four days) and minimal amenities to keep costs down. Complimentary curry dinners on Tuesdays and Thursdays are simple home-style cooking. On the other hand, there is a well-varied breakfast. Even with a lot of pre-packaged food, the presentation enhances the experience. However, while there is a push to reduce the use of plastic (e.g. no disposable toiletries), plastic and paper containers are prevalent at meals. The franchise owner shows a unique touch by even offering Naikan therapy books at the front desk.

Great location. Free breakfast and parking were offered. The front desk staff were friendly and always ready to help. The only downside was only one lift available, need to wait if it's busy.

Simple hotel. Cannot check in until 4pm so very busy reception when we arrived at 5pm. Only single elevator meant long line to go to room

Very good service, opposite Abashiri Station. It had free breakfast, and there are two restaurants near the hotel. Highly recommended.

We just stayed one night and chose this hotel because we needed to catch 5:48AM train and the hotel location is just in front of the station.|We stayed in early September, Thursday, non-Japanese holiday. We booked the hotel two months prior and all non-smoking rooms were sold out!? How can it be possible, it seems like there was no big conference, off-season after a busy summer, and no group customers. Anyway, we were forced to stay in a smoking room, and of course, the smell was not pleasant. We said to ourselves it was only 7 hours stay... |Other than that, it is no different from other Toyoko Inn, the room space is just for necessity, no extra space. The check-in and check-out process was machine-operated. |You probably know Toyoko-Inn before you book, this is THE Toyoko-inn, no more no less. Oh yes, Toyoko Inn, in general, the price is reasonable, so as this Abashiri Toyoko Inn was. |The room was clean and the staff is, of course, Japanese standard courtesy, no complaints about cleanliness and kindness.|I recommend this hotel because of the location, in front of the station, and Toyoko Inn price. |If you want to go out for dinner, Abashiri city center is 15 min walk, not bad for non-chilly days.

I stayed at this hotel and found the room to be spacious and impeccably clean. The free parking and breakfast were convenient perks, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. However, the only downside was the small toilet, and the 4 pm check-in time felt later than what I've experienced in other hotels. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor inconveniences.
