Tozd is such a gem right in the heart of Ljubljana. The atmosphere is effortlessly cool, laid-back, artsy, and full of charm. It’s one of those places where you can easily lose track of time, whether you’re deep into studying or just enjoying the buzz of the city with a coffee in hand. The coffee is excellent—rich and smooth, clearly made with care. The staff are super friendly and always create a relaxed, welcoming vibe. There are plenty of comfortable spots to sit, with just the right lighting and ambiance to focus and stay productive. If you're looking for a place that combines great energy, solid coffee, and a study-friendly setup, Tozd is it.

we loved the old location, but this one doesn't disappoint either. waitress was friendly and her service was fast. a nice quite place to have a drink. prices are quite normal for a city center. would recommend.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this café. My bill was €8.80, and I gave the waiter a €50 note, which is legal payment. He told me it was my problem that he didn’t have change and even threatened to call the police, saying I had no way to pay. This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. As a customer, I offered valid cash, and the staff should be prepared to provide change or handle the situation politely. I would not recommend this place based on this experience.

EDIT: I attached some new photos from the new location. The new interiors make my favorite place a cool, hip bar, one that has never been seen in Ljubljana before. I recommend the new cocktails, Broken Negroni made with 'Broken bones', a Slovenian craft gin and Tozd Collins, both refreshing and perfect for summer. PS: The vibe and the menu are still the same and they are still Pet friendly! <33 My favorite café and bar. The most beautiful and relaxed place, with a sunny terrace (if you are a fan of outdoor seating as I am, you are going to love it!). It's a hip place in town, so you are going to enjoy just as the locals do. The menu offers something for everyone, the avocado toast is a nice option if you are looking for something to eat & the coffee is always great! The staff is friendly and the music is nice. They have different exhibitions going on all year round, as they use the inside space for promoting young local artists. It's a perfect place to spend your mornings, afternoons and evenings in Ljubljana!
