Beautiful property, very poor guest experience
The hotel is visually stunning, but the stay itself was deeply disappointing. Upon arrival, there were no slippers despite it being winter and the room having tiled floors throughout, which made the space feel cold and uncomfortable. There was also no drinking water provided, and no clear information about the robes—only a sign stating they cost €80.
The room is entirely controlled by buttons, yet there were no instructions, turning simple things into a frustrating guessing game. The bathroom towel rack was off, and the instructions to turn it on were hidden under the control panel. The AC is very loud, making it difficult to sleep unless you bring earplugs.
I booked a terrace room specifically for the outdoor bath and a peaceful atmosphere, but the bright terrace light cannot be turned off, completely ruining the experience. Built-in Bluetooth speakers were unusable due to extremely low volume. The max volume was so low I couldn’t make out the words of the songs I tried to play. Coffee and tea were not refilled, and the fireplace stopped working on the first day.
Customer service was slow and avoidant, and none of the issues were resolved. Check-in is at 5pm with no luggage storage on site; instead, guests are sent to an office a 15-minute walk away - far from convenient when carrying luggage. On checkout day, I was locked out after being only 15 minutes late, with no response to my email.
While the room itself is beautiful and cozy, the service and organization significantly detract from the overall experience. It feels like a wonderful property in the wrong hands.
I wouldn’t even give zero stars for the service provided.
If I could speak directly to the owner of this beautiful property, I would strongly recommend changing the management. No matter how stunning a place may be, nothing can compensate for this many issues and the feeling of being completely neglected. At this price point the lack of service is unacceptable.
