Great museum. You get a look at how the house was originally and then in the basement there's a thorough review of Trabzon's regional history.

Absolutely loved this place. The way the artifacts and information is displayed makes the history come alive and isn't overwhelming at all. This was the best part of my Tranzon trip.

I am married to a Turkish man for 45 years. We wanted to visit. But because I am a foreigner I had to pay 3 euro. My husband for free because he is retired. We choose NOT to visit as they are racist to foreigners. Everybody should BOYCOT Turkish museums for this rules. In the netherlands we all pay the same.

A place with lot of information about Trabzon and its culture. Information is written in Turkish which makes it difficult to read but everything is presented so well that you understand the cultural emblems.

Close!! The tourist information center also doesn’t know when it will be open.
If you go here make sure to visit Meydan Park and Metropolitan museum.

A beautiful museum about the history, geology, and geography of Trabzon and the region. The pictures and objects are made with love. You get a nice overview of the region. Unfortunately, it is only in Turkish, but you can use Google lens. ;)
