I don’t get it. The product quality is distinctly average to slightly above average for athletic wear. What’s worse is inconsistent sizing across products that is not possible to comprehend until you try it on. This is amplified by really poor customer service that is punctuated with the type of attitude that you would more commonly find in a designer boutique.

My husband and I have been coming here almost every year after he finishes the Boston Marathon. We love visiting this place after the race because hosting the Boston Marathon finishers here is a remarkable tribute to the community. Offering refreshments and recording the runners’ final times on posters shows a generous spirit.

I visited Boston recently and was excited to visit the store, but was quite underwhelmed. There was a very small selection of clothing in store, we couldn’t find anyone that worked there and another guest had to tell us where the fitting room was. No one asked to help us the entire time we were in the store. So it was kind of a weird experience. Clothing is always nice and feels quality.

I tried this company once and didn't like the clothing at all. Now I can't get them to stop sending junk mail despite filling out the "unsubscribe" form, calling, and emailing. The list of more fashionable, better performing, more interesting running clothing companies is too long to list. Take my advice and look elsewhere.

I ordered a pair of tights from Tracksmith and unfortunately they weren't as expected so I need to return them. For some reason, the Tracksmith website isn't recognizing my order # so I'm unable to initiate the return. I've tried emailing multiple times(zero response) Calling (no answer) Leaving a message multiple times( no call back) and now I'm approaching the end of my 30 day return period. I can't even say poor customer service, ZERO customer service is what I've received. Creating a quality product is only one step in customer satisfaction. For what Tracksmith charges for their products I would expect much more. Product will get donated to Goodwill and I won't be supporting them in the future...

We visited the store on Friday august 25th in the afternoon. My husband and I were looking for running shoes. We walked in not knowing what to expect or anything about the store. The guy running the store would only speak to my husband and was only offering him shoes to try on. He completely disregarded me. I eventually asked to try a pair of shoes and his shock could not have been more obvious. It was clear he took one look at me and decided I wasn’t a runner type based on how I looked. He seemed to be very surprised to hear that I had run multiple races before. If you want to make a sale I would recommend treating your clientele better, especially when you don’t know anything about them. Body shaming/judging isn’t going to get you a loyal customer.

Ordered clothing which arrived promptly. Cannot comment on clothing as I gifted it. Have since been harassed by courier over unpaid charges for the last month. Any message / email to Tracksmith gets automated response directing me to FAQ where problem is acknowledged but not dealt with. Cannot get anyone on the phone to speak to. Just appalling service / support. Will not order from them again.

I was a fan of Tracksmith but feel like they are losing sight of what made them fun and approachable—the amateur runner ethos. On a recent trip to Boston, I was excited to finally visit the store and maybe be reinvigorated by the vibe and aura of the track house. Unfortunately, it was the opposite experience for me, with an unfriendly and unwelcoming staff and just an overall disappointing visit. Love my old gear, but don't think anything new will be ordered anytime soon.

Yelp
My daughter went to the store to buy a pair of running shorts. She saw online that they were in stock at the store. She asked for a pair and the staff person told her they were from last year and none were in the store. She showed him it listed on the web site. He finally went and got the shorts after not telling the truth to my daughter. Unacceptable service, for a very expensive pair of shorts. There was no apology, just a rather smug attitude toward her. Not sure what's happened to Tracksmith but this is not acceptable.

Yelp
I love coming to make a pit stop at Tracksmith when I come to Boston. I am so glad though that opened one in Brooklyn, NY. Whenever I go into the Boston one the staff are always soo friendly and nice and will help answer questions you may have. There are two floors to this store and have some changing rooms. There is a coffee bar on the second level too. During Boston Marathon weekend this is one hot place to be( hot meaning that everyone comes here and knows about this running apparel store) They have other items besides clothes like water bottles, gloves, bags just to name a few. Highly recommend coming into this store even just to browse.

Yelp
I love coming to the track house when I'm in Boston. They have a variety of clothes in many sizes, you can check them out and try them on. The quality has been very good over the years. Downstairs has the shop, and upstairs has a great place to hang, and also the Hare AC room is up there. They do runs from the store, they have a bathroom as well. Come thru and meet some great people!

Yelp
I both buy Tracksmith apparel and run with their running club. The clothing I have bought from Tracksmith has turned out to be some of my favorite running clothing. You know those days when you're not quite sure what to wear, and don't want to be too hot or too cold? Tracksmith's merino wool tops are especially perfect for those days. They somehow work in such a range of temperatures and weathers. I also really love the workouts hosted at the Trackhouse. Lou and Jeff do a great job. I've gotten significantly faster in the year and a half I have been going!

Yelp
Excellent running gear! I have purchase well over 10 items from Tracksmith since they first started up online in 2014 and have made multiple visits to/purchases from the store since it opened on Newbury. Each item I've purchased for myself and my husband has performed better than expected, and the store's staff are always friendly and check to see if I need help with anything. While it isn't cheap, I am willing to pay more for high quality running-specific gear that will last- none of their items have let me down yet!
