Wonderful old style roadside motel! It had by far the best reviews in Valentine Nebraska and did not disappoint! This is an old style single floor level motel with parking right out your front door, so it is easy to bring in your luggage and keep an eye on your vehicle (which doesn’t really matter in Valentine since it’s such a safe location). Super clean rooms and good water pressure. Room had a mini fridge, microwave and even a recliner rocker! Nice firm large bed. The breakfast was self serve heat up a cheese omelet microwave and yogurt, juice, toast etc. not as fancy as the big chains - but it’s a nice touch for an economical roadside motel. We told the reservations clerk that we would be arriving late around midnight driving in from Colorado and they even called us while we were enroute to check up on our arrival status. I highly recommend this place! Clean, comfortable, affordable, safe, and a good nights rest!

I stayed here on July 30, 2024. This hotel was my favorite during my cross country road trip. It appeared to be run by either one or two young couples who were super nice and helpful. They took great care of the grounds and the rooms were clean and spacious. The motel itself is a single story. I was using a scooter while battling a broken foot and had no issues getting around the parking lot or in/out of the room. There was a 1-2" curb from the parking lot directly in front of my room. There was probably a ramp at the end of the walkway, but I didn't need it for my scooter. There was a grab-n-go style breakfast in the morning with plenty of options for anyone. There are also several food options a few minutes down the road for lunch or dinner. Parking was easy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! Perhaps most importantly, I felt safe as a female traveler with a dog. I took puppers outside at night with no worries and she had a clean, safe area to go potty. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice motel, right off the highway, but set back far enough so you don't hear any traffic noise. King size bed was very comfortable & lots of channel choices on the tv. Recliner in the room was nice. The dorm size refrigerator & small microwave were nice to have in the room. The only thing I can say against it was the faucet on the sink you are not able to turn on much. The shower was fine.

Place was a little rough around the edges, but all the important parts were fine. The good - Excellent wifi, beds were comfortable, AC worked good (it was really hot when I was there). The place was clean, but didn't have an overpowering bleach or cleaning agent smell. The not-so-good - I am 5'11, but the shower head hit me in the chest, there was an access panel removed and leaning up against the side of the fridge, there were dead bugs in the lights, the bathroom fan was in need of an upgrade, the bed and sink seemed short (the sink only came to my thigh). And my keys stopped working after one day, though the front desk staff was very quick and helpful in fixing it. If you can put up with a few minor non-functional nits, this place is a great value. It is on the outskirts of town (i.e. no fighting traffic), has a nice view of the sunrise, had plenty of parking and was one of the cheapest places in town.

This place is a five out of five it is really nice and I like there free breakfast in the morning. For the drinks they have milk, orange juice, coffee.For food they have omelets, toast,yogurt, honey bun, cereal for cereal they have Cheerios and for yogurt strawberry and peach. Back to the rooms they have a small refrigerator and a microwave and the beds were very comfortable so yeah five stars for me 😊😊

This is a well maintained, clean motel with modern decor. The bathrooms are clean with plenty of hot water. The rooms are clean, orderly and always smell great. The owners are friendly and accommodating and they allow pets. It's conveniently located in the east end of Valentine near the Sinclair gas station, Henderson's IGA and Bomgaars farm and ranch store.

What a great value!This little motel is super clean, comfortable and quiet! I was skeptical because their prices are low so we didn’t book in advance. Wanted to wait til we at least pulled into the parking lot. It was neat as a pin so we snagged the last room. It’s not updated, so if that’s important to you, skip it. But if you want a nice, clean room, this is your place!

Overall, nice experience. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Would stay again. Breakfast could be a little better, but at least there was breakfast (the omelettes are “heat your own” in the microwave). Courtyard in the middle is a nice place to relax in the evening.

This motel is an older building, but don't count it out. The rooms are large and comfortable. The property is very well maintained. Each room has a microwave and fridge. The price is appropriate for the lodging. It is quiet area, so good for sleeping. A modest breakfast is provided. Pets are allowed. Would recommend.

Very basic. Best thing to say. It was the last room left on a busy day in Valentine. Very thin walls. Lots of inconsiderate neighbors making noise late at night, camped right outside my door and window. There was no recourse since the office closes at 11. And the free breakfast is embarrassing. Not only did they open a little late but it was pretty much just coffee, which we had to wait to brew, and some pre-packaged stuff like danish. No hot food to speak off. The price is good and the rooms were fairly clean (except for sand on the bathroom floor). If other rooms are available in this pretty town. Take them.

Comfortable clean place to stop for the night. Our room was quiet. I like the big windows in front of each unit. The AC worked well and the shower got hot. Breakfast included biscuits and gravy, waffles, cheese omelets, yogurt, oatmeal, toast, and maybe a couple other things. Enough to get us started.

My Mom and I just needed somewhere to rest our heads as we continued our 'Nebraska Trip' vacation. With a rate under $100 for a 2 bed room, we used Trip Advisor and chose this motel. For a motel, it's nice. The main lobby is nicely decorated and they had a very modest breakfast available. Room was clean. I really like that the sink/vanity is outside the shower/toilet area. Makes getting ready in the morning so much easier. The rooms included a mini fridge, microwave, and a coffee pot. TV is very, very small and even with the air turned down to 60, the room really never cooled down. They do allow pets for a fee, and if you want ice you have to go to the main lobby and get some from the cooler in there. Nice simple place if you just need a place to crash for the night.

This was a great place to stop after a long day on the road and driving. We were able to park right in front of our room. The rooms were clean, neat and very inviting. The next day, we had a full breakfast for all of us, served in the lobby. Overall the place was quiet, quaint and very nice.

We always stay here when we are in the area. A super place to stay!! They also allow pets for an additional small fee. Very close to the downtown and the Cowboy bike trail is nearby (300+ miles). You will love it.

The room is fine, quiet, clean and comfortable. The so-called 'Hot Country Breakfast' advertised out front leaves something to be desired. The only eggs available were microwavable 'omlets' and the only other hot offerings were gravy, toast and DIY waffles.

Funny how small towns don't get many reviews....now the five stars doesn't mean this is the four seasons. This is a fantastic privately owned small town hotel, spotlessly clean, very fair price, flat screen TV, Fridge, Micro, Great Bed...Nice Morning Breakfast (waffles, biscuits and gravy, toast, cereal, coffee, juice) I stayed here while passing through town...twice in one week. a great find, I'll stay here again

We're here for two nights and we're quite happy. It's a clean, roomy room, the bed is good, the bathroom is functional. The wireless works pretty well but it's not real fast and a little inconstant. The person at the desk has been quite cordial. It's a good breakfast; I only wish they had a meat. And the rate is as cheap or cheaper than any we saw on Kayak.

Just happened to stumble across this motel...yes it is actually a motel where you park outside your door. Rooms are very clean, spacious, well lit and equipped with Wi-Fi, fridge and microwave. It is family run and they live on site. The grounds are beautifully cared for and it's obvious the take pride in their facilities. I travel regularly and this place is a great place at a reasonable price.

what a trip, found the middle of no were. Very clean place, would stay again, was in town for the marathon so only stayed one night, way better than the corporate hotels. The lady we spoke to was not overly helpful but in that size town if you can't find it in 5 minutes it's not there.
