Overall Impression
Trademark Hotel was an absolute delight from the moment I arrived. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The environment is beautiful, with a unique design aesthetic that sparks curiosity and invites you to explore. The space feels thoughtfully planned, colorful yet calming, with small details that add charm and personality.
The hotel is well-organized, and I particularly appreciated the way the rooms are designed. Each space seems to encourage exploration and creativity, especially the beautiful book collections placed around the property. These colorful shelves are arranged in such a way that you can’t help but pick up a book and spend a quiet moment reading. It’s also relatively peaceful and quiet, making it an excellent retreat for rest or focused work.
Customer service deserves special mention. The staff go above and beyond to make payment and check-in/check-out processes smooth and stress-free. They truly embody hospitality, and they definitely deserve a heartfelt thank-you.
Highlights
The 10th floor is a gem. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding environment and the lush landscape of Giri Giri. Whether during the day or in the evening, the panorama is breathtaking and worth experiencing.
The food, while mainly continental, is generally well-prepared. The noodles were surprisingly good, and breakfast was a particular highlight do not miss it. They serve some of the best muffins and croissants I’ve ever had in a hotel setting.
Negatives
While my experience was overwhelmingly positive, there are a few areas for improvement:
Lobby smell: There was an unpleasant scent in the lobby area that was noticeable on multiple occasions, first day was perfect but after that, it had the smell of dead rat, I don't know if it was the fumigation or something but it was very unpleasant really unpleasant not fun at all only got better on the 6th day, I hope it's not always that way
Cleaning equipment visibility: Cleaning gear was often left in view, which slightly disrupted the otherwise polished aesthetic, they were always cleaning, always I bet I saw the cleaning gears like a million times, vacuum cleaners always in the lobby I mean literally always, I don't know if they are understaffed because it's actually a long lobby and if it's just one person doing the cleaning or two I can understand why they were at the lobby all day.
Elevators: The elevator system felt somewhat confusing and slow at times, a very unpalatable experience, the worst elevator I have used in my life no direction keeps you guessing, waiting and confused, it could be better
Internet connection: The Wi-Fi was unreliable and often didn’t work, which was frustrating for work or communication needs.
Limited local food options: While the continental menu is good, those seeking more diverse or local cuisine may feel limited.
Despite a few shortcomings, Trademark Hotel delivers a memorable experience with its warm hospitality, beautiful spaces, and thoughtful design. The stunning 10th-floor views, delicious breakfast pastries, and peaceful reading corners make it a place worth returning to. With a few small improvements especially in Wi-Fi reliability and lobby presentation, it could easily be called one of the top boutique hotels in the area.
