Trader & Co. Cafe

Nice local cafe for stop by. You will miss it if you simply travel on the main road. Coffee drinker, do try the long black, it was a little unique with a light aromatic taste and served in a special local made pottery coffee cup that keep warmth. Breakfast was excellent, chicken burger was not overly cooked and the taste nicely balanced. Will visit again whenever stop by.

Fantastic! We found the cafe online and dropped in on the way from Adelaide to Sydney. The food is excellent and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.👍👍👍😊😊😊 On the way back from Sydney to Adelaide, we stopped by at this cafe again for the French toast with stewed apples! Excellent! The staff remembered us and were so welcoming and friendly. Definitely we would like to come again!!

My family and I absolutely love this cafe. The food is delicious with lots of variety, the coffee is excellent and staff are always attentive to my daughter's food allergies. Inside is a lovely warm space and we love that it is dog friendly outside with spacious tables. We will continue to come here for a refreshing break everytime we come through Yass, it is our go-to cafe! Thank you Trader & Co team:)

I like this cafe very much. I often come and ordered some food and drinks. However, I noticed the male chef always brought the chicken burger with black stuff. But sometimes when it is someone else, no char on the chicken.

Driving from Sydney to Melbourne you can run into a lot of mediocre cafes but fortunately Trader and Co is not. With a few outside table they are dog friendly and thumbs up for the accessible bathroom that no one mentioned in any review. Staff were cheerful and helpful and the toastie was perfectly grilled on great sourdough bread. My husband had the caramel milkshake and I had a great latte. Their coffee beans are available there and online too and we left clutching two packets to try at home. Next door to Salvos and Vinnies makes it a great stop for an hour. Lots of whole foods to purchase . Gluten free and vegetarian options.

Waffles were freshly made, came out nice and hot and were deliciously drizzled with maple syrup and fresh cream. Coffee tastes great! A little cold inside being a cement floor, but don’t let that get in the way of friendly staff, great food and coffee. Thanks from QLD!

Absolutely loved our visit to Trader & Co Cafe! The food was delicious, and the coffee was perfect—just the way we like it. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax. Bec was incredibly friendly and attentive, and we had a wonderful conversation with her. Her hospitality truly stood out. The cafe’s location right on the Hume Highway makes it the perfect spot for a break during a long drive. Highly recommend stopping by—you won’t be disappointed!

Unfortunately our expericence was not great at all. This place is heavily overpriced considered location and portion sizes. Food was alright but not fantastic and after eating $18 breakfast wrap I was still hungry. We were also very disappointed with the service as we were waiting for a long time for someone to clean the table after previous customers and we end up cleaning it ourselves as no staff was attending cleaning. Also no napkins on the table.

This is a great little cafe in Yass. The food is great. Came here for breakfast and loved the experience. But the best thing is the staff. Really friendly and welling to help. The coffee is good, not the best cup I've had, but still relatively good. I can here own a road trip, and really glad that I stopped here at this cafe.

A slice of Melbourne off the Hume Highway, Trader & Co. is the perfect spot in the already-delightful town of Yass. I was lucky enough to be directed there by the local tourism office, after my friend mentioned she's vegetarian. Everything is great: the atmosphere. The banter between the coffee/chai station and the food station (run by separate people under the same roof). The food itself was fresh and plated up beautifully. It's also a co-working space AND has an adorable selection of locally-made gifts in the front. I suspect this is going to be THE go-to spot for the cool folks of Yass. I hope it is for anyone driving between Melbourne and Sydney, too.

These guys roast amazing coffee and make it well. As we walked in, they were pulling a freshly baked lamb out of the oven, locally sourced. Excellent place that values quality food and local produce.

Delicious food and great coffee. Meat is locally-sourced and coffee is roasted in-house. Did not expect to find such a great little cafe in Yass. Couldn't really ask for a better cafe experience.
