Trader & Co. Cafe

Wonderful cafe with great coffee and delicious food. You can feel the good vibes as soon as you walk in, such a beautiful community space with the bonus of creating social impact, both locally and internationally! I would recommend the veggie sanga (pictured) , made for a perfect lunch. Would highly recommend, so great to see an intentional and ethical business in action.

Found this cafe on Google after pulling into Yass on my drive back to Sydney. The AVO toast with a side of bacon was fresh and tasty and the mocha was a great balance if chocolate and coffee. The staff were very friendly, and the food was quick. A great experience and will try this place again if I’m in Yass.

So glad we finally got around to stopping at this little gem of a cafe! What a beautiful cafe full of surprises, from fresh produce to amazingly attentive staff and a selection of creative local products, this cafe is a must stop if you are traveling through (or staying in) Yass. Food was delicious and with an awesome kids menu, the whole family was happy! Will definitely be coming back next time we’re passing through.

Great place to stop for a rest and lovely feed on a long road trip from Sydney to Melbourne. Love the atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. Food definitely hit the spot for the next leg of the journey. Plus can get healthy snacks whole foods for the remaining trip. Highly recommend for a visit.

Trader and Co are now our new local! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. We are always welcomed with positive vibes. The coffee and chai is a delight. They also sell lots of gorgeous locally made products and gifts. You can stock up on dry foods for the pantry too! 5 stars. Highly recommend if you are visiting Yass or if you are a yass local!

Fantastic! We found the cafe online and dropped in on the way from Adelaide to Sydney. The food is excellent and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.👍👍👍😊😊😊 On the way back from Sydney to Adelaide, we stopped by at this cafe again for the French toast with stewed apples! Excellent! The staff remembered us and were so welcoming and friendly. Definitely we would like to come again!!

Coffee was perfect - we drink a lot of coffee and pretty critical of the bad ones 🤣 but this is well worth the stop. Also really happy to support the local roasters who invest in big issues.

Nice local cafe for stop by. You will miss it if you simply travel on the main road. Coffee drinker, do try the long black, it was a little unique with a light aromatic taste and served in a special local made pottery coffee cup that keep warmth. Breakfast was excellent, chicken burger was not overly cooked and the taste nicely balanced. Will visit again whenever stop by.

This is a great little cafe in Yass. The food is great. Came here for breakfast and loved the experience. But the best thing is the staff. Really friendly and welling to help. The coffee is good, not the best cup I've had, but still relatively good. I can here own a road trip, and really glad that I stopped here at this cafe.

A slice of Melbourne off the Hume Highway, Trader & Co. is the perfect spot in the already-delightful town of Yass. I was lucky enough to be directed there by the local tourism office, after my friend mentioned she's vegetarian. Everything is great: the atmosphere. The banter between the coffee/chai station and the food station (run by separate people under the same roof). The food itself was fresh and plated up beautifully. It's also a co-working space AND has an adorable selection of locally-made gifts in the front. I suspect this is going to be THE go-to spot for the cool folks of Yass. I hope it is for anyone driving between Melbourne and Sydney, too.

These guys roast amazing coffee and make it well. As we walked in, they were pulling a freshly baked lamb out of the oven, locally sourced. Excellent place that values quality food and local produce.

Delicious food and great coffee. Meat is locally-sourced and coffee is roasted in-house. Did not expect to find such a great little cafe in Yass. Couldn't really ask for a better cafe experience.
