Somsack Sikhounmuong’s Grub Street Diet

"A recent neighborhood grocery addition whose arrival increased convenience but coincided with the area becoming denser and noisier; the narrator misses the prior quiet even as they appreciate having easy access to goods." - Zach Schiffman, Sarah Kilcoyne

Oh man, I just love popping into this place whenever I have the chance. They always have the coolest snacks and ingredients I can't find anywhere else. Seriously, their produce section is surprisingly good for the price too. Plus, the vibe in there is just so chill and friendly. Definitely my go-to for fun food finds!

Google
Very busy as always and it makes sense why. They have a wide selection of good quality products, while the staff is respectful, helpful and kind. Rui (I hope I spelled your name right), kindly offered to help me with carrying the groceries bags to my car, seeing I had my baby with me. I am truly grateful. I hope you receive a Raise very very soon! Thank you!

Google
Omg this look like black Friday just to get flowers for Mother's day smh. But they have a great selection.

To be very clear, I love shopping at all Trader Joe's since I appreciate their large variety of organic and gluten free products. This location is great and I always find what I am shopping for. The only 2 downsides to this location is the parking and lack of typical beer and wine options (obviously not their fault on the lack of adult beverages since it is a state law thing). If you are used to purchasing wine from a Trader Joe's this is disappointing since some of my personal favorites most locations provide are not available in liquor stores since they are under contract with this chain. As far as parking, this location shares a parking lot with multiple other stores. This location is easy to get in and out of but the parking situation gets a little crazy during busy times.

Google
Trader Joe’s has good quality product with its equally low prices. The main issue with this location is the small store size as it can be a be a bit overstimulating when shopping during peak hours such as early-late afternoon.

Google
Trader Joe’s in Orange, CT, is a favorite of mine. The store is always clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I love their unique products, especially the Everything but the Bagel seasoning and frozen Mandarin Orange Chicken. However, I was disappointed with the pre-packaged sushi; it lacked freshness and flavor. Overall, it’s a great place to shop for quality items at reasonable prices.

Google
An amazing supermarket in the New Haven area: fresh, healthy and non-processed food. As a European student, it was super important for me to find a way to buy healthy food, and I did - at Trader Joe's in Orange CT! Thank you to the employees who make this experience even more special by being helpful and kind.

Google
The place was very busy. I know a lot of people who love trader Joe's. I like the prices. Does store very confusing. It's a small place so it seems like people are walking all different kinds of ways the way that the aisles are set up.

Yelp
The one detracting star is the craziness that is every Trader Joe's parking lot in the entire state. But the service and staff at every Trader Joe's this one included are stellar. There are some fav items I have here: cane sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, frozen Mac & cheese, frozen cacio Pepe, frozen veg meatballs, frozen fettuccine Alfredo, all their jarred tomato sauces, veg stock, bananas, vegan banana bread, vanilla scones, chai concentrate, seasonal raviolis, pumpkin cranberry crisps, squash frozen pasta, jingle jangle (Christmas & Easter) their prices are great, watch the dates on items. Love the paper bags too lol.

Yelp
This Trader Joe's is one of my favorite grocery stores! It's always very clean and well organized, making shopping such a pleasant experience. I especially love that they have their own parking lot, it's a relief not to have to worry about parking every time I visit. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming!! every time I go, someone chats with me. I also love how adventurous I can be with their products. Trying out different types of hummus has become a fun routine for me! This Trader Joe's is conveniently located in a shopping center with T.J. Maxx and Ulta, so I can knock out a few errands in one trip, which is a big plus. I recently went vegan, and I've been loving to find so many delicious options here. Their vegan apple sauce pouches and fruit blend juices are amazing! If you're looking for a clean, friendly store with unique products and a great location, I highly recommend this Trader Joe's!

Yelp
Trader Joe's offers good quality products at decent prices. Many of them are organic and/or antibiotic free. We stopped here to get a few snacks and nuts and we were happy to see that they also carry organic firm tofu, which I love to use in my stir fry dishes. The registers were all managed well and the lines moved quickly.
google avatar

Dave J.

Yelp
Came here on a errand run and found it to be a decent establishment. The items here are reasonably cheap and very good quality. Have been to a few Trader Joe's in different states and overall have had great experiences. Staff were very friendly and overall made shopping and checking out very pleasant. One concern with the ambiance is that the music was very loud and annoying with how short the ceilings are. Additionally, the place is fairly cold and only a few vents

Yelp
TJ's is consistently great no matter what state I find it in. This one is big and even though it was busy, we could move easily through it (unusual for TJ's in Oregon). I found everything on my list and a few wonderful impulse buys for stocking stuffers. We're fans and will always return for more.
google avatar

Miguel T.

Yelp
Very clean and many interesting items to choose from. They have lots of organic items as well The pricing is a little more but worth it
google avatar

Tracey B.

Yelp
Today I experienced something that almost never happens in a grocery store: every register was open, the lines moved quickly, the clerks were pleasant and there was not a self checkout in sight! On top of that, I found a huge selection of cheese, beautifully displayed produce and a tempting array of chocolates. I chose a couple things to make for dinner and too many snacks for the week. This was my first visit to Trader Joe's, and it definitely was worth the driv
google avatar

Megan K.

Yelp
Wow what a cool TJ's. I stopped here because I was in the area trying out the new Haven Hot Chicken across the parking lot and felt like treating myself to some peonies. Well I left with peonies and $70 more of other snacks, cheese, and candles. Super clean store and very very well stocked. If I'm back down in Orange again I'll def stop by this location, it's nice!
google avatar

Wayne S.

Yelp
Always consistent Great atmosphere Trader Joe's coffee is the BEST and inexpensive. Too busy and hard to get around on weekends So I don't go on weekends only week days and the earlier the better
google avatar

Hayden N.

Yelp
Fantastic service. Crew member Anthony A. may be the nicest guy alive. How can a dude be so nice? Beyond me. Trader Joe's TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Marie R.

Yelp
Great place for gift cards and even small token presents. I was able to check a few people off my list. The store was clean, well organized, and the cashier was efficient.
google avatar

Heather A.

Yelp
Love this store and how organized it is. My go to for THE best pineapple juice, dips and most beautiful fresh flowers!! It is actually the only place around that I'll buy flowers from because they receive them in their daily deliveries. The staff is also super helpful and so friendly, you can tell that they truly enjoy working there and helping the customers with any assistance. The store may be crowded but they will get you through checkout in a breeze. Definitely one of the best environments for doing the thing we all dread- grocery shopping!

Da Z.

Yelp
mirepoix looked securely fastened but incorrectly closed i discovered when i got home, Good Friday. since store very busy and highway also very busy could not return. no satisfaction with customer service call. unlikely to return-produce not cheaper or fresher than others.
google avatar

Lexi S.

Yelp
I like this Trader Joe's because they are usually well-stocked and have every register open. The store is easy to navigate. I love finding recipes in the Trader Joe's websites before my planning my trip. Like any Trader Joe's location, it is extremely busy on weekends- just a heads up!
google avatar

Semora R.

Yelp
I found so many different types of food that I could try, and the prices are low as always. I love the store
google avatar

Steph Q.

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's and I have been to my fair share of them, all across the country, and though once you've been to one you've been to them all, the one comfort is that the associates are always very nice, the food is always affordable and you will come out buying much more than you had planned to. I think that's the fun of Trader Joe's and why I will keep coming back. I do not go on Saturdays because I love myself and don't feel like dealing with that crowd though it moves fast but this location restocks on Tuesdays and Thursdays so do with that information what you please. There is a vegan associate here (hi Nick!) that gave me some bomb recommendations for vegan treats and I will update this review periodically for what I find. They sell all the mock meats and cheeses here it seems and so you will never be hungry. Also TJs managed to make tostones (their plantain crisps) into a prepackaged chip and I am not mad at it, thanks to Dave R for the recommendation too! The return policy is still valid so if you don't like anything just come back with your receipt and they will refund you. I wish this location sold liquor and wine but the northeast is weird about this so, beer it is. You will not regret coming here. Unless it's Saturday afternoon, then maybe.

Summer K.

Yelp
hayden the cashier is a king. Happy egg day to everyone!!! BEST SERVICE EVER. point blank.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
Trader Joe's in any location never disappoints. The items are well stocked with great variety. Although there isnt much variation store to store, there are always new samples of food to try along with a new blend of coffee! They had chicken spring rolls with a sweet and sour sauce and a winter blend of coffee when I went recently! The prices of the items are very comparable and often more inexpensive than your average grocery store like Stop and Shop! The staff have gone out if the way at this location as well to assist with anything if needed. Trader Joe's will always be my favorite grocery store!
google avatar

Savannah C.

Yelp
Great place and great options! I'm always sad to see the summer skincare go out, but I always stock up in preparation. The Covid lines were always sooo long though, and I wish they would expand their establishments to other towns.
google avatar

Yelp
What can I say, so many yummy foods that I can't get anywhere else. Love their frozen pork dumplings, their frozen asparagus, canned dolmas, peanut butter...the list goes on! My favorite of all time (and I hope it won't be replaced any time soon) is their refrigerated Hummus Veggie Wrap. Just delicious, with cabbage, and other vegetables, and a liberal amount of hummus. It's got great taste and texture. Definitely 5 stars!

Yelp
Aside from some long lines, I've never really had a bad experience at any Trader Joe's. The one in Orange is no exception. Store was busy on Sunday, but it's a weekend so that's to be expected. I love walking up and down the aisles to see what interesting products they have, especially some of their frozen items. We picked up some veggie curry burgers, cans of turkey chili, green chili salsa and much more. They had some samples of "Thanksgiving" potato chips - stuffing flavored with cranberry salsa/dip. They were actually amazing and tasted exactly like stuffing spices. My husband loves any place that gives out samples. On more typical products, prices are really reasonable. I don't have any exceptional dietary needs but it is a good store for gluten free and vegetarian/vegan items. I wish we lived closer because I would definitely go more often.

Jane C.

Yelp
As a loyal customer ever since Trader Joe's came to CT, I pains me to write a not so stellar review. The Orange store is great. The employees are great! Sadly, we've had issues we a number of items that we ended up having to return - from peanut butter (rancid taste - and we love TJ peanut butter), prepackaged turkey (had a visual spot of mold that we missed prior to purchase), and a bag of oatmeal with bugs in it. All items were well within the expiration dates (if an expiration date was noted) or opened with a day or two of purchase. I hope the quality control issues are resolved soon!
google avatar

Russ L.

Yelp
This is a great place to buy affordable groceries. They have great vegetarian options and great pre-made and frozen foods. They don't have the most comprehensive selection, but they have a lot of branded items that you can only find at Trader Joes. Their frozen vegetarian corn dogs, taquitos, and other vegetarian frozen items are great value.
google avatar

Karen N.

Yelp
Not a bad TJs but on the small side so the fresh vegetable selection is less than ideal. I was hoping for more when they expanded the store, but all it meant was wider aisles and not much more selection. We can rarely get all the food we're looking for here -- always missing just that last something that forces us to go to Stop and Shop on the way back. But TJs does have some great frozen foods, packaged foods, and good milk and eggs, so no complaints.
google avatar

Richard A.

Yelp
Great place to get high quality specially food items. It's like a mini Whole Foods. It is pricey, however, I would not do my weekly grocery shopping here. Nice place to browse and sample some items and shop.

Christina A.

Yelp
I was chatting with a lovely employee while checking out on a dreary winter Monday and she said that I brightened her day (when it was her that was so refreshing and funny). She then told me to pick out a bouquet of flowers as a thank you for MY kindness and for brightening her day! I was so taken back, I could have cried! I'd been having a frustrating evening and the truth was that it was the nicest interaction I'd had all day! The flowers are so beautiful and remind me everyday of the power of kindness. I wish I had caught her name but the orange ct store gave me a gift far greater than the cost of the flowers.
google avatar

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's but this location has to be the worst. The employees are friendly as other TJ locations but the atmosphere here is so chaotic that it makes a normal trip to TJ's your worst nightmare. I made the mistake of coming here on a Saturday afternoon and I should have known better. The parking lot here is a mess as the store is located in a busy plaza and drivers seem to not pay attention. The store itself has a horrible layout as other reviewers have noted. As you walk in to the store you immediately see the produce and prepared foods section then for some odd reason they have the meat on the back wall near a busy corner. I got pushed by someone's cart and no apology. Sorry I was in your way to get some grass fed beef. Jeeez. The aisles here are at an angle as are the registers and there's barely enough room to get by. Avoid this location unless you come here on a weekday right when it opens or right before closing time.

Yelp
One of my all time favorite grocery stores in Connecticut. Since this one isn't remotely close to me, I travel about a half hour to get here but it's so worth it when I do. CT is pretty pricey when it comes to groceries... but Trader Joe's makes it so easy, to be in and out, and save money. I came here tonight (Monday) around 8 pm. It was very slow and practically empty which is how I love to shop. There were employees everywhere stocking the shelves for the days ahead, and they were quick to answer some questions I had. I have been looking for one product every time I have come in, and it's so popular, it sells out within a day. Not tonight, they had it in stock, and I was THRILLED! I also love the flowers here. They are just like the ones in other floral shops and very affordable. I was able to get a bulb, in a vase with water that just started to bloom for $2.99 (I find that a steal) The store is so clean, the employees are so nice, and it's always for me, fun to shop here because they have different products that other stores don't have. Trader Joe's is definitely my go to store, and I wish someday, one will be closer to me!

Yelp
I went to Trader Joe's tonight with my daughter for the first time. I usually Shop at a different supermarket but they are on strike. I enjoyed going out with my daughter it was a new experience. Unfortunately they did not carry a lot of things that were on my list. But I was able to buy some frozen fruit and fresh fruit as well. Would definitely consider going back here again.

Yelp
As much as I like Trader Joe's there is ONE ANNOYING FACTOR I have not been able to avoid, a recurring issue that has continued for years which influences me to shop there far less: product availability. Nearly every time I shop at Trader Joe's in Orange, CT, there has been a product that is either not available or no longer available. Sick of asking because I get the same responses - out of stock, shipment delays, discontinued or factory issue. For me, making the trip to this store and having to deal with this is annoying. Had not been there for a while and was in the area today so I thought I would give it another try - jarred jalapeños... no where to be found. Just for the heck of it I asked what happened - shipment issue was reply. Bye bye Trader Joe's. Back in the area again August 30, 2019... just finished the Costco run so I thought... what can I lose by going to Trader Joe's? The answer is... my sanity! Went in for chocolate chip cereal bars... out of stock, balsamic vinaigrette dressing... out of stock, and then I thought how about those spiked bottled spritzers on a hot Labor Day weekend day... nope, gone... don't carry them anymore. Anyone explain why this happens and how they get away with it? Sucks! Back again July 6, 2020... salt n pepper chips gone; daily multi vitamin gone, frosted wheat cereal gone... thanks Trader Joe's!
google avatar

Terri D.

Yelp
Nice location, super busy for a Friday at 2pm.
google avatar

Stephanie G.

Yelp
Trader Joe's.....what to say. I can get a decent amount of gluten free food here although not as much as other places. The produce is always fresh and the service is always friendly. So, what's my beef? The other customers! I have never come across ruder people...one lady just banged my cart with her cart three times to try to get me to move--hello, what happened to a polite, "Excuse me?" I would have gladly obliged! Another customer almost stepped on my toes...I had to literally jump out of the way. What's up with that? Do people think that because they shop at Trader Joe's they are cooler than someone that shops at, say, Stop and Shop? I don't think so. Chill out people and learn some manners..... Otherwise Trader Joe's is okay.
google avatar

Cherie L.

Yelp
I like Trader Joe's, they got REAL food, not highly processed junk. I appreciate that they pride themselves on customer service and quality of merchandise. This location is not a huge location, but they've got a variety of different things. The staff is always glad to help, they usually seem like they don't mind being here...which makes for a good environment for the customers also. They don't mind stopping what they're doing, to help you find something or to answer a question. I do wish that they carried a few more items, including, but not limited to wines, etc... But that's (wines) the fault of State of Connecticut. I wish that they also carried some Latin veggies/fruits and other Latin items. It'd be nice if they were a bit closer to home...a.k.a. just a few more locations..But glad they're here!

Yelp
As I write this review I realize I have found my salvation. I will no longer need to have to cook every single day. Why did I not bother checking this place out months ago when I moved here. In a way I am happy I didn't because I probably would've been bored of it by now. Pre-made meals...they are everywhere. In the fridge, in the freezers, galore. I'm enjoying the TJ's mac & cheese bites with a nice cold beer as I write this and I think about my fridge and freezer stocked with things for this week making my life a million times easier. Words cannot describe. Yes, they live up to the hype. I was browsing the salad area when I heard someone say "hey how are you?" and I thought it was someone talking to someone else until I heard it repeated so I turned around. It was one of the employees saying hello making sure I didn't need anything. Later I turned by the dessert freezer aisle (I don't remember what else they sell on that aise, I just remember the desserts (chocolate lava cakes, creme brulee, I need to stop)). Anyways another employee looks at me and says "hi, how are u?" They made me feel like a friend, not just some random shopper on a busy Saturday. I kept reading everywhere about how good the Cookie Butter is so I made it a mission to find this spread. It was on the top shelf and they only had about 5 left out of reach. I asked one of the employees to help me grab one and they came over and did it with such kindness. Seriously, these people are amazing. So 5 stars for all you guys working at TJ's. You made the impossible happen: make me enjoy grocery shopping.

Maryann T.

Yelp
I love this store but do not buy watermelons from there!! We bought one & I was not ready to cut it up. Well, within a day or two it exploded all over my downstairs kitchen. What a smell & mess!! It dripped off my dryer and onto the Sheetrock. My husband has a mess. Had to cut Sheetrock where it dripped!! It was a costly watermelon!!!
google avatar

Dana M.

Yelp
I just love trader joes so I feel like my ratings don't really count. They have a huge selection of interesting items (and of coarse also has the essentials) for a great price. I dont live in CT, so I can't compare it to any other grocer's prices, but I would imagine it's pretty competitive. When I went, the sample was their ice brewed coffee with ice cream. OH WOWZA - so good. I also suggest getting their frozen pizzas (they have one cheese-less veggie pizza which is ON POINT). If you feel like mixing it up a bit (or even just keeping it the same), this is the grocery at which to do it! BYOB (bring your own bag :D )

Carly P.

Yelp
Nice store with many good choices throughout. Has a good selection of produce as well.
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
My husband & I have switched over to Trader Joe's for the majority of our grocery shopping. We have to travel a good 25 minutes, but the healthier food options are completely worth it. I love that they have fresh flowers at good prices, an array of fun cheeses, and great freezer food selections. We're picky with our meats, but have not yet been disappointed with any of their's that we've tried. The staff, as so many have mentioned, are very friendly and knowledgeable and of the several we've met, we have had good experiences with. The only thing that really aggravates me personally, is the layout of the store. Probably like so many other customers, we have hectic work schedules and generally only have a span of an hour or so on Sundays to get our shopping done. The atmosphere is *always* chaotic. It feels like there is nowhere to move comfortably in and out of aisles or around the produce areas. It makes the experience a little more stressful, unfortunately.

Yelp
Change the name to FRIENDLY JOE'S because the women and men who work there are super friendly and helpful. This location is much better than the West Hartfird location.

Joe C.

Yelp
On May 3,2022, in Orange, Ct, we found 2 non-organic apple's mixed in with Organic apples in the 5lb Piñata bag. Service is great and the staff know the products.

Alexis B.

Yelp
I got robbed, and apparently, I'm not the only one. They spent 1000 before I was done shopping. I got a shoulder shrug from an employee saying "yeah that's been happening". Security cameras?! Walmart let these people use two of my credit cards in one shot. These companies just don't care.
google avatar

Emily T.

Yelp
I LOVE TJ's! Walking into the store you see their beautiful selection of fresh flowers and produce. Their selection of to-go lunch options is delicious. Recent finds- spicy california roll, buffalo style chicken wrap and cranberry chicken salad. Random new find- strawberry bars.. tasty and quick toss into your bag on your way out the door =) Nice selection of beers that I feel like is a new addition =)
google avatar

Emily D.

Yelp
This is my favorite grocery store. I buy the majority of my food here. The prices are reasonable and they have lots of low sodium, low fat, and "reduced guilt" options. The organic selection has been growing too. My favorite items include: cheddar cheese with caramelized onions, many of their salads, mango pineapple salsa, grilled chicken, frozen Mac and cheese, frozen bambino pepperoni pizzas, frozen shells with brie and asparagus, honey roasted pumpkin ravioli, peanut butter filled pretzels with no salt, organic blue corn tortilla chips, reduced guilt chunky guacamole, and the organic probiotic smoothies, and their organic, fair trade, shade grown coffees. Yum! Finally, the staff here are really friendly and helpful. When it is crowded, they open up every register and keep the lines manageable. I recommend shopping after work or during a weekday, as weekends can be a little hectic.
google avatar

Taylor H.

Yelp
Fairly standard items, quality and pricing for a TJ's, with a few exceptions. Notably, the produce is very bad at this location. Every time I have been here, at least one of the types of produce that I need is subprime or sometimes downright disgusting. Once every single package of tomatoes was filled with fuzzy white mold! The employees never seem as friendly as at other locations I have visited. Also, the parking lot and surrounding area have very poor walkability (I don't understand how people are supposed to get to and from their cars safely in this parking lot; no sidewalks at all). Overall, I try to avoid this store as much as possible, except for canned goods and pasta and some frozen meals.
google avatar

Anderson M.

Yelp
Man, I love Trader Joe's. I drive from Seymour once a week to do all of my grocery shopping. I bought enough food for two weeks for 90$ today, and there's a lot to be said for that, especially considering there's no such thing as a coupon there. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the variety of different types of food are endless. My only gripe, which isn't a problem for them, is that no matter what day I go- it's like a zombie apocalypse, or a major snow storm is about to happen. The isles are so narrow, and there are so many people, that it's hard to take your time and truly see all they have to offer.

James E.

Yelp
This is an ok TJs. The parking lot is oddly fine for one of their outlets, and the staff is really friendly, which is great. This place does get crushed on the weekends, so be prepared to get run into by little Hunter or Isabelle because their parents decided Sunday at TJs was the appropriate time to give them one of those tiny kids' carts. They are lacking on good, local produce like you would find at a TJs in places like California, the Midwest, or the South, but hey I get it: we're in CT. Also, thanks to CT's arcane and stupid liquor laws, you can't buy wine here, which is a huge plus for these stores in other states--but I'm not really blaming them for that either. My biggest complaint about this particular location is that they sometimes have problems with ordering. On three occasions we've gone in and they've been out of flour--really? A basic staple? I forgive when they run out of feta in the height of summer, but this location is out of things more than any other TJs I've shopped at (ends and pieces bacon, ricotta, flour, feta, sausage in just the last few months). It makes me think they may need to revisit their ordering practices.
google avatar

Ani G.

Yelp
Although this Trader Joe's is a couple miles further than another one, I always come here for 2 main reasons. The parking lot is much better and easier to get around, and they have a little more variety in produce (FIGS!!). Just like with any Trader Joe's, the staff is super friendly, the store is clean, it's just a good shopping experience all around.
google avatar

Joe C.

Yelp
I like Trader Joe's for its interesting variety and selection. They don't carry the usual plain old boring grocery items. Many of their items have an "international" flair to them, albeit maybe artificial. While Big Y might sell only one type of frozen vegetables, Trader Joes sells Indian style, Chinese style and Thai style frozen vegetables. Many of their items are things you won't find at your ordinary grocery store. That's their niche. Trader Joe's really isn't meant to replace your regular grocery store. It's more or less, meant to compliment your regular grocery store. And regarding price, they're not as high priced as other specialty food stores such as Whole Foods or Wild oats. But then their products aren't as healthy as those stores either. Trader Joes does carry a few healthy items, but it's definitely not a full-fledged health food store. And to those people who knock this Trader Joe's for not being close to New Haven, I say get over yourselves. You live in the 7th poorest city in the nation. Trader Joe's is simply going to go where the money is and that currently is in the suburbs surrounding New Haven. To criticize a place because one doesn't live near it is really unfair. I don't knock the Louve in Paris simply because I don't live there. I don't knock Vail Mountain in Colorado because I don't live there. IMO, a place should be judged on its merit alone, not because of where YOU decide to live. I suppose some people have a hard time understanding the world doesn't revolve around them, but sheesh, get real folks.

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's because it has what I call "novelty foods" and a friendly vibe. Seriously, I feel like the employees love working there and I like being in such a tiny store with happy people. Some things are really cheap here-the Ezekiel bread, vitamin E oil, calcium/magnesium supplements, almond butter, sesame oil, spices, single beers are about $1.50/ea, and their own brand of natural toothpaste. The frozen food selection is great. The produce selection is standard yet small. The prepared foods are awesome-I'm all about their hummus and tabbouleh. You can get your weekly groceries here or a cheap lunch. You can get salt & pepper Mexican style chocolate or chocolate covered potato chips. They have a lot of weird I-must-have-that food that I end up buying for no reason other than it sounds like a great idea. Last words: they have fresh flowers here, you can make your own 6 pack for cheap, you'll find the majority of prices lower than Stop & Shop or Whole Foods, the avocados always seem to be super under ripe, and the bread seems to expire soon after I buy it (freeze the bread and throw the avocados in a paper bag.)
