Tradition Hotel (отель Традиция)

The Tradition Hotel was a great place to stay on my first trip to St Petersburg. The rooms were nice and clean and very spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially with questions we had regarding registration of foreign visitors. We had a great night of rest on the comfortable bed and breakfast the next day was delicious. It really was one of the nicest experiences I've had staying at a hotel. They've set the bar very high for any future trips. Thank you!

My partner and I stayed at Tradition Hotel on a very hot summers night in St Petersburg. Though our stay was short (one night - we had previously stayed at an airbnb belonging to the hotel proprietors) we nonetheless had a wonderful stay. The room was large and airy, impeccably clean and had an air-conditioning unit, which was very welcome in the heat! The room had bathrobes and slippers for us to use, which was a pleasant surprise - it seems many hotels no longer provide such luxuries! ||As well as being comfortable and well presented, the hotel is located very centrally so makes a great base from which to explore the city. The Neva river is right by the hotel and all central attractions are in walking distance. There are also plenty of river and canal tour boats nearby from which you can discover the city.||I am very glad to have been recommended this hotel and would certainly return to stay here again when I come back to beautiful St Petersburg. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so comfortable - from Anton and Anna to the lovely lady that was cleaning the next door room, all staff were friendly and helpful and contributed to an enjoyable and memorable holiday in St Petersburg.

I was in StP in connection with a teaching engagement. The hotel had been booked by the course organizers, after I had asked for a hotel close to the center of town. This pleasant establishment absolutely "fit the bill" in that respect. Very easy walking distance Peter & Paul Fortress and the cathedral, the Kunstkammer was just a few blocks away, and the Hermitage also within easy walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. A good number of choices for breakfast.

Nice small hotel. Building feels older but rooms, particularly bathrooms, perfectly up-too-date. Good breakfast buffet in a small but fancy-feeling dining room. Be aware that steps are unavoidable here, so if you have lots of very heavy luggage it trouble on disputes, this might not be the place for you. Otherwise, it's great.

Tradition Hotel is in a great location. We were a party of 5 staying the the family room, which consists of a standard room and a superior room via a connected door. We had the included breakfast which had plenty of choices. The wifi and the air conditioning worked well. One of our rooms had a shower in the bathroom and the other room had the shower in the bath. The rooms are of an adequate size and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this hotel

The Tradition hotel is an excellent choice if you want to be in the heart of the city and be able to enjoy cozyness and quietness. Very calm, very comfortable, breakfast of various types for every taste, location as close to Peter-and-Paul fortress as no other place. I loved staying in such a comfortable small family and business hotel and recommend it to everyone.

We stayed here for a long weekend visit to St Petersburg. The concierges had workable English, but other staff didn't. All were friendly and welcoming. There is a breakfast option which can be pre-booked or requested on arrival. It is a self service buffet system, with no restrictions on what you can eat. I thought the choice was reasonable. There is free wifi. It is a reasonable and pleasant walk to attractions such as the world renowned Hermitage art collection Hermitage and other cultural sites. It's worth visiting St Isaacs, Museum for the view from the roof. Taxi travel by booking through Uber is exceptionally efficient, safe and reasonably priced.

Like it!||Easy, no headaches! Easy check in. They walking you down to the room. Everything you need is there. Clean. Everything works in shower perfectly (not a case in many even fancy hotels). Perfect location either.||It is a bit simple to stay more than couple of days, but for the short stay is a perfect choice.
