A cute restaurant that also feels homey. It is self service and you seat yourself so we didn’t need a reservation. The food was okay but nothing amazing. We had better across the street. They also charge you for everything even tap water which I don’t understand. We got the cabbage roll, chicken and meat perogi. I am not sure I would go back as there are better places in Krakow I think.

This is truly one of the best local restaurants we discovered away from all the typical tourist restaurants in Krakow. The atmosphere you find inside the restaurant was so down-to-earth, and the perfect example of a small, family run restaurant serving traditional Polish cuisine. We were so delighted to locate this place, from the moment you enter, it feels like home. No reservations here, this a fast moving, find your own table then go to the counter and order your meal, for dining in or take out. The dining area inside is very small, with tables scattered about, in front of the order counter, along the side and even a small second level all the way in the back of the restaurant. The local Polish food was wonderful, and the staff is very busy, but still helpful and friendly. Excellent food at very good prices, and must visit if you are looking for a taste of local life.

Good quality Polish meals served at a friendly restaurant with affordable prices. Definitely check this out to save some money whilst still enjoying some local cuisine. I'd come back here.

Ordered the daily special on Sunday. Pretty crowded. Need to find a table before ordering. Both set of pork and beef steaks were well done and tasty, especially the gravy. Separate order for side dishes. Overall, good valued meal!

This charming place with homely decor and cozy atmosphere is very warm and welcoming from outside . To hot inside as the staff wears short sleves❗️ Inconvenient Self service , you need to cary your full plates from the small bar to the table and is impossible to go up the tiny wooden staircase without spilling ! Basic food precooked and just warmed up , not a big variety and the translation of the menu in English are not 100% accurate with the actual meals . Overrated food overall and definitely not good presentation ‼️ We had chicken and mushroom sauce and it was actually simply boiled chicken drumsticks with the bone and béchamel sauce with few small pieces of mushroom . Not well cooked chicken and very sticky mush 🫤The Hunters stew was just a boiled sour cabbage with a lot of red paprika and very small pieces of smoke gammon definitely not a game meat .🫤 Soups are basic watery broth with very tiny chopped veg or bacon 🤨 The service is fast because everything is already made but the food is disappointment despite of the affordable prices. Close location to the main square and Christmas market easy to find and is on Google map .

We eat here every time in Krakow. It had never dissapointed us - great local food, kind service, good atmosphere and decent prices.

This place is an absolute gem! Incredible local dishes with huge portions at excellent prices. Highly recommended and will definitely return!

The restaurant has a nice vibe because of the decorations. It's self service so don't make the same mistake as me and my friends and wait for the waiter to bring you the menu. The staff knows English and the food itself is pretty tasty. Also something I didn't really like is that everything costs from tap water to a casserole if you want to take the leftovers.
