Trail Estate Winery

Beautiful location & tasty wines! A very laid back atmosphere. Our server was so sweet and made us feel comfortable immediately. It was not very busy because it was off the “main” driving path, but came highly recommended by another smaller winery… so glad we went here! Recommend the Juicy Red wine… yumm! Wines are on the pricy side, but the tastings were a great price and you could mix and match the types of wine you wanted to taste.

Beautiful grounds, but the wine not my favourite. Wine tasting was pricier compared to other offerings in the County, $18 for a flight of three and the bottles too, expensive for what they offered. Whereas at Traynor just down the road was $10 for a flight of three and much better wine at better prices and more welcoming personnel.

Trail Estates was an absolute standout on our wine tour. Our host, Alex, was a wealth of knowledge and made the tasting both educational and genuinely fun. The vineyard itself is stunning, and their Supersonic wine — made with Concord grapes — was a vibrant, delicious surprise. Highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for something unique and memorable!

One of my favourite wineries in the region so far! A warm but modern site, really cute, you can sit in their Muskoka chairs and picnic tables and enjoy their wines surrounded by gorgeous views. I did a tasting of 5 wines in here. They were all fantastic, I was surprised by their skin fermented wine and by their fantastic, unfiltered Pet Nat. Also their staff is super friendly and welcoming.

Stopped here on our wine tour and loved it! So many funky organic wines - my favorite was the red pet nat. They even had fun games to play both inside and outside, which made the visit extra enjoyable.

We visited and were beyond lucky to get 1:1 time with the winemaker Mackenzie who is a true delight. She shared her exceptional knowledge of wine and what inspired her to create the wines we tried. We were there off season, so we had the entire place to ourselves. Fire pit, with a side of s'mores, and a truly peaceful atmosphere is how we would describe this gem. Worth stopping by 10/10

A lovely place to try some tasty wines. My husband and I shared four tasters. He likes off-dry wines so our favorites were the Riesling Wild Ferment and the Vintner's Weiss. I also quite liked the Baco Noir. We sat outside at a picnic table under a sun screen looking out at the vines. Very nice :)

We recently went to Prince Edward County and came across this somewhat hidden gem! The staff at Trail Estate were extremely friendly and helpful during our wine tasting, which only cost $8 for 4 wine samples - a steal! I'm no wine connoisseur but my wife and I really enjoyed the 16 Pinot Noir. If you're looking to avoid the crowds while sampling some great wine, Trail Estate is a must!

Trail has made some experimental wines that creates a different wine experience. The team seems to be passionate but their wines and is well worth visiting.
