In a world of shrinkflation this place is still serving up huge ice creams for a great price! This picture was a medium. I cannot imaging ever finishing a large here. We will be back here 100%

Great ice cream, great prices. Lots of delicious flavors and free sprinkles. You can't beat the view either.

The value here is unmatched. Really great homemade ice cream and huge portions. A "scoop" is really like two or three. If you just want a typical portion get one scoop split into two flavors. Prices are cheaper than other ice cream places but portions are 2-3x larger. Really good quality, too. Absolutely will be back.

We followed the rainbow to Trail’s End Ice Cream Shop! The Fly Fishing Fudge and Vegan cookie were both excellent. ☺️ 🌈

Yummy, yummy! Great selection of ice cream and staff is so sweet, friendly, and helpful. Expect after 6 pm to have a line, but it moves fast and is worth the wait. The staff never seems flustered. Sitting area or my suggestion take it to go and drive across the street to the beautiful scenic vista, especially at sunset. Have fun.

Every time I come in I get a brownie sundae. I never wanna get ice cream anywhere else in the valley. Best ice cream around. Kind staff. Clean space to eat

if your favorite ice cream taste is “sugar”, this place is for you. it is so sugary that you cannot taste anything else. blueberry cheesecake? nope, only sugar. rum raisin? can’t distinguish it from any other taste since all i could taste was sugar. i don’t think i’ve tried a worse ice cream.

This is the BEST ice cream and sundae stand in the northeast! So many unique and classic flavors! VERY generous portions for your dollar and friendly, fast service. The hardest part is deciding what to get! Highly recommend!

I live right here and my family comes to Trails end almost every night. Incredible ice cream for incredible prices. the view of Mt Washington never gets old. Get a small the sizes are insane which is great, large amounts of great ice cream for cheap prices is why Trails End stays so busy every night, but the line always moves very quickly!!

Fantastic spot and value! We went on a Tuesday around 8:15 and the line was fairly long but we didn't wait long. We all enjoyed our treats which included a dream-sickle shake, moose track double scoop and a soft serve. BONUS: the scenic pull out of right across the street!

The ice cream scoops were huge with so many flavors to choose from - all of the flavors we tried were super tasty. Really friendly service, too. We'll definitely be back!

Trials End Ice Cream was a delicious treat to end the day with a beautiful Mountain View. I cannot stop raving about this ice cream. This is my favorite and #1 ice cream shop.

Trails End ice cream was the BEST ending to our day in North Conway! The ice cream was delicious & the portions were very generous. I highly recommend the coffee Oreo- amazing! Our group of 11 was walking over to the ice cream shop & unfortunately the shop had closed 15 mins prior- however the owners were stopping by to grab something and offered to open up to serve us. Hands down the best customer service ever.. please stop by if you're in the North Conway/intervale area!

Delicious ice cream, friendly staff, the line moves quick, and reasonably priced. We had fun watching a thunderstorm in the mountains while we sat on their covered porch enjoying our cones. The only downside for me was the spider infestation on the ceiling of the overhang. I saw multiple spiders drop down and land on people walking by! Yuck! They could use a power wash!

We've had the ice cream here a few times and we've never been disappointed. It's all homemade and it's definitely a premium ice cream and we've never gotten old icee ice cream. I absolutely recommend this place. Two thumbs up.

Delicious and wow they don't skimp on the scoop size! Small is 2 big scoops! Really good, fresh quality, was some of the best Pistachio and Vanilla scoops I have ever had. Service is at the window, was great!

Ice cream is real good, they have homemade and name brands. Serving's are big no matter what size you order. Two locations, Settlers Green RT 16, and Interval rt 16

Great ice cream shop! The college age workers had great attitudes. The price is very good, and they give large servings for the money! My wife and I took our grandchildren here when we were visiting with them over Columbus Day Weekend. Even though it was cold outside, they had a line of customers. We spoke to those in line and found out why the line - people who love here love this place!!!

The ice cream is flavorless, had a lemon choc chip that tasted like yellow vanilla with tasteless chocolate chips, yuck. The mocha chip didn't taste very coffee like at all. Was it last seasons icecream? Price was right

I ordered ice cream for 40 people for a birthday party and was so happy with the result. They dropped off a freezer full of individually portioned ice cream in my chosen flavors, and included spoons and napkins and sprinkles. My guests were able to help themselves throughout the party, and the freezer was picked up the next day. So convenient - and delicious! So many people commented at how good the ice cream was, they could tell it was homemade after just one bite. The service was excellent, Nancy was so friendly and accommodating. Can't recommend highly enough!

They were not kidding with the reviews. Trails End Ice Cream is handing out the cold stuff like party favors. I've never seen value like this. The ice cream is amazing, the portions are generous and the taste is to die for. We went for a family trip as we were staying in the area and felt the need to indulge in some ice cream. Everyone in line received the kid's scoop but I had to be a big shot and get the small. How big could it be? It's huge. My son has a little trouble digesting large amounts of dairy and he had no ability to finish the ice cream. I loved it and had no trouble finishing because I think I'm a bit of a cow. I would go back for these huge scoops that are under $5. If you are in the Conway area, ever, you have to stop by Trails End Ice Cream.

During my 1 week vacation, we went several times. The ice cream prices were great, serving size was generous and the views fantastic. A winning combination! I especially enjoyed having a ice cream in an almond bowl. Pretty unique.

With just about every other ice cream stand closed for the season, I was thrilled to find Trails End Ice Cream still open for business this Columbus Day weekend. I had just finished a 13 mile hike and all I could think about was a hefty dose of ice cream with hot fudge. Trails End (in retrospect, quite appropriately named) delivered just that. I ordered Cookie Dough ice cream with hot fudge and caramel. I went for 1 scoop, though I was tempted at the idea of two BUT was soooo glad I went for the single. The scoop was gigantic!! Very generous portion sizes. The ice cream was delicious and the toppings plentiful. Large chunks of cookie dough! For $3 and some change, this dessert was well worth its value. The staff at the window were very friendly, super quick with scooping, and thoughtful (I was sent to my car with a wad of napkins as their generous portions were already risking going overboard out of my Styrofoam cup!). Glad to have stumbled across this location. I will be sure to return after future hikes in the area.

This is my new favorite ice cream stand!!! They had a nice selection of locally made ice cream flavors. The servings were generous. The price for a small cone was almost half of what I pay at the ice cream stand at home. The servers were as sweet as the ice cream. I can't wait to go back! Warning for the timid eater: The small cone is described as two softball-sized scoops of ice cream. Don't be afraid to ask for the kiddie size cone. DELICIOUS!!!

I have to leave this review hair in my ice cream for the third time visiting please have your employees wear hair masks. It's so disgusting and so unfortunate I can see it happening just once I'm a local, the first time I mentioned it the employee just shrugged it off the second time I called and left a message. The third time was today long hair pulling it out of the ice cream I returned it and was told oh I'll just scoop you another scoop but then I realized after I left the with same ice cream that hair was in it that whole entire batch should be tossed. And of course I tossed my ice cream because I couldn't bear the thought. It was the whole ice cream experience I hope management read this so they can do something about this I know it's hot, I know it's hard to find good employees but a hair mask would keep the hair out of the ice cream a little hair net won't be too hot and it sanitary Please please please I love your ice cream and I hate to have to not come back because I'm worried that every time I come in I'm going to have an issue this is unfortunate that I'm the one that's getting the hair I don't know how many other people have the problem that I have had.?

AMAZING portions, first time I went I got a 3 scoop large and couldn't even finish it, just a single 1 scoop is enough and they even have a pup sundae (vanilla soft serve w a dog cookie). Other than that just a typical delicious ice cream place

Ice cream overload! If you love ice cream and wish you could order a large but feel like that is too much than order a Kiddie, it's probably a quart of ice cream. I walked away thinking how did they do this; fit all this sweetness in a cone, I had to tell people; Imagine if I had got the next size up, this is the Kid size! You will not be disappointed, go at sunset when you can double your pleasure; the mountain view overlook(across the street) and a massive amount of deliciousness! Enjoy

Biggest portion of ice cream I've ever had!!! 2 adults couldn't finish off a 3 scoop medium! And only $4.75!!! It was like eating over a quart of ice cream!!! The most affordable ice cream place I've ever been. FYI come before 6pm to avoid crowds.

Banana split sundae was massive and amazing. Girls that work there were very nice. Definitely recommend the banana ice cream -- it's what dreams are made of.

Huge portion sizes. We all got kiddie sizes. I got coconut almond chip, yumm! Also great is raspberry chip. Well worth waiting in a line for. 4 cones, $11.

Holy heavenly cow!!! Massive servings of THE most delicious ice cream!! Friendly service too. They serve both hard and soft ice cream! SO many flavors to choose from-like lemon chocolate chip!!! Who knew it could be so good???? They will warn you-their scoops are BIG!! Trust me, they are not kidding!!! Wish we found this place sooner-it will be a must visit from now on!!!! Yummmmmmm

The "small" is enormous. You can chow down after hiking the Black Cap trail and satisfy the littlest campers. The view is astonishing. If you are sweaty, exhausted, and have cranky kids, this is the stop for you.

Okay, so it's been a year since my last visit (lies came here last summer as well) and I have to say I am not disappointed! The wife decided on a 2 scoop sundae yesterday and convinced me today that it was a great meal replacement for dinner. That's all I needed to hear and am now in agreement. For anyone who is unsure about trying this spot I can honestly say it only gets better each time you go. The clerk even remembered my wife from yesterday's order. In summation great ice cream, great portions, great prices! Stop reading the reviews and stop in!!!

Small shop, order right outside, great customer service, awesome ice cream, easy access parking. Not much seating outside but didn't bother us we were on the fly. Ice cream really tastes wonderful!!
