The food is great quality (as you would expect from any decent French eatery) but it is formulaic and lacks passion, and the service felt a bit shambolic. The meals are like set menus but instructions are entirely lacking so you end up not really knowing where to go or what to do. Drinks and desserts are by the front door but you have to choose before you order... you realise as you are ordering. Ordering a cup of tea turned into a real trial. A tea bag was given but no cup or water. Upon attempting to serve myself at a drinks station I was intercepted by a staff member who insisted on turning on the kettle, which promptly broke because it was empty. She then microwaved my tea putting the bag into cold water before heating it up. They had no milk... Like I say, a bit of a shambles. Worth a visit if everything else in the area is full or closed.
