I've had my Ascent 28 for around 4 months and I absolutely love it. Not only is the quality of the bag amazing but it is also one of the comfiest bags i've owned. I've been so impressed that i've recently also purchased a Wee Bairn, which is a great day bag. Be it for work or cycling it's a perfect size to carry the essentials. I'm certainly a big fan of the great bags Trakke are making.

Canna backpack. Super quality little backpack. Very well made, sturdy, not a stitch out of place. Extra points for being made in the UK. Very happy with purchase. Would definitely recommend this company.

I really love my bag, the Assynt 28, using it for almost all backpacking needs I have. The waxed canvas is simple, sturdy and beautiful although lacking if you prefer a techy design with many pockets. The main packable volume is one massive pocket with a top pocket for quick access items and a laptop sleeve with a small zippered pocket inside. Because it is so simply designed it's very versatile for what it can can carry. It has a rope chord top and adjustable length lid meaning it has the ability to take surprisingly large items and and huge amount of stuff. Great for everyday use, weekend trips, day hiking and other outdoor activities. When properly waxed it's practically waterproof. Only times I need something else is for for longer trips or more technical sporting activities where you need more pockets, webbing and lightness. I have had the bag for over 5 years now and recently got it repaired by sending it back to the workshop with their returns system. The term 'lifetime guarantee' made me hope for some utopian situation where my one off purchase gets continually renewed. That's not a realistic expectation and so I paid £50 to give my extremely well loved and thoroughly tired bag a pampering. Just received it last week and it's practically a new bag. The well worn panels have been completely replaced and the seriously frayed edges have been retrimmed. They also replaced with sturdier zip pulls, did some nice darning work on the smaller holes and possibly added some padding on the laptop sleeve. It feels like a really fair price for some really great crafting. The communication has been personal and comprehensive. My bag has loads of character and it feels like it's had a lot of love from both the makers and myself. Waxing is a satisfying process and takes less than half an hour and will prolong the lifespan. Who knows how long it will last but it feels like a meaningful journey.

Have had my eye on a Trakke bag for a while and with the recent black Friday sale finally got myself the Fingal, as my new everyday work bag. First impressions were excellent the material is very high quality just from looking at it, the sturdy zips are great. It must be the most comfortable backpack I have owned, even loaded up for the day ahead it feels light and the straps support it well. 100% Happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend.

2nd time visiting the store and workshop in person. Such a cool spot. Absolutely must stop by if you're a fan of well made bags/pouches. Shoutout to Colin and Cat for all the help (including running back and forth from the shop to the retail space)! Can't wait to visit again in the future!

Ordered a bag but the parcel was never delivered. Reached out to Trakke but no response. Reached out a couple of more times, but still no response. Queried with DPD and, as it turns out, the parcel was apparently returned to Trakke weeks ago. Shame, because the bags are great. We have the Bannoch, Bairn, Largo, Canna and some accessories from Trakke. But won’t be ordering again.

We went there to buy a backpack and had such a great experience that we also bought a messenger bag and a sling. We could check out every product hands-on in great detail and the staff members have shown great knowledge about their products and what they are made of. They even took the time to give us a tour from the production site next door. Very much looking forward to our next visit!

Extremely high quality bags. I use mine for work, travel, and hiking. The look is a unique combo of retro, outdoorsy, and professional. People constantly ask me where I got my bag. I had an issue with the first bag I received, and Trakke customer support was exceptional. They responded to my email within a day, set up an easy way for me to ship my bag back to them, and sent a replacement promptly. I was impressed by how timely and friendly the team was.
