Tranquil Resort

An absolutely idyllic place to stay. Apart from the superb accommodation, food and delightful surroundings, Ajay and Nisha take hospitality to a different level. They are true professionals. Always on hand to assist, but never intrusive. Mr. Swamy and all other the staff are also on hand and are friendly and efficient. The pool is lovely, the bar a great place for pre-prandials. We stayed in the main building and the room was fabulous. Every attention to detail has been taken. We felt so well looked after and the only downside was leaving. Staying here is a true delight and will not disappoint in any way.

We loved this place because it wasn’t just the typical dishes you usually find. We ended up ordering [dish names]. Some of the dishes did feel a bit pricey for the size, but we enjoyed them so much, we felt they were worth it.”

Excellent location for a stop over between Mysore and the coast of Kerala. You can relax in a very friendly atmosphere best in the tree house but I guess also in the other rooms. Very green in the middle of the nature learning about farming of coffee and fruits, having long walks enjoying the calmness of the place. Nisha and Ajay the owners are absolutely lovely and helpful same is true for Swamy. The staff is super friendly and efficient. The food is absolut gorgeous very dangerous!!!

What a beautiful beautiful place! Nestled in nature, delicious food and such amazing trails to explore! Bird watching galore and we even saw a barking deer on our walk! Really enjoyed my stay and thank you so much to the staff for making it so homely!

Our stay at Tranquil Resort was one of the most satisfying experiences of our recent travels! The tree house we stayed in was a masterpiece of creativity—beautifully integrated with the natural surroundings while offering luxury and comfort inside. The food was exceptional, featuring a delightful mix of cuisines, each dish more delicious than the last. The resort offered plenty of activities to keep us engaged. We particularly loved the moderate hiking trails and the bird watching, all within the serene expanse of the property. Tranquil Resort truly lives up to its name, blending nature, relaxation, and adventure seamlessly.

One of the best homestays I’ve been to. We were there with friends and family for two nights and had the most magical time. The hosts Ajay & Nisha are wonderful & thanks to them it was made even more special. My wife and myself stayed in the treehouse. So tastefully done, comfortable king size bed with all top amenities. A wraparound balcony with a lovely view of the plantations. Added to that a fresh water stream flowing under it. So therapeutic. The ambiance, food fabulous & staff so attentive to all our needs Top hospitality all around. Lovely walking trails all over the property . There’s a gift shop & home made pickles & preservatives amongst other lovely quaint items for sale. There are also a variety of outdoor activities to do for children & adults . We can’t wait to be back !!!!

Lying under the thick, protective tree trunk in the treehouse was undoubtedly the highlight of my stay! At first glance, the treehouse appeared like a charming wooden cabin perched high among the trees, but as I approached, I discovered how thoughtfully it was designed. A gentle ramp led the way up, inviting me into a cozy, nature-infused haven. From the room, the view stretched out into an endless expanse of lush greenery, with the soothing sound of a gurgling stream and the cheerful chorus of chirping birds as a constant backdrop. Far from the traffic chaos of Bangalore, we relished every peaceful moment, soaking in the serenity.||The resort offers a variety of activities to keep guests entertained, from tranquil nature trails to a refreshing pool; I ventured out only reluctantly, drawn back by the comfort of our treehouse.||The culinary experience was outstanding, with no dish repeated during our two-day, three-night stay. Each meal was carefully curated and ended on a sweet note with the most delectable desserts.||For those who enjoy a bit of adventure, the trails leading up the resort’s mountain are a must-try. And if you can bring yourself to leave the luxurious cocoon of the treehouse early in the morning, you’ll be rewarded with rare bird sightings that make it all worthwhile.||A truly perfect getaway in Wayanad, Kerala.

Best homestay I’ve stayed in anywhere in south India. The caretakers are amazing, Ajay and Nisha are there for anything you need on the property.|You get a great idea of what it’s like to live on a coffee plantation. Did a one of their treks on the property and one of their dogs even accompanied us on it.|The food is top just amazing!! A lot of their food is prepared with local produce from the plantation. Got a variety of jams that would rival any restaurant.|Must visit, especially if you’d like to stay in their beautiful tree house.
