Vinyl and CD shop with a large selection. A bit quiet for a music shop (there was no music playing when I was there) and a bit stiff, with personnel following your every step. However staff is very knowledgeable and can answer any questions.

One of the biggest record stores in Moscow with huge collection of CDs. If you want sheer numbers, this place is for you. The location is also good. But you've got to have good atmosphere, and, unfortunately, the ambiance is lacking here. The stuff is mute and unfriendly, following you everywhere. I've also never in my life seen record store so silent, with NO music in the background AT ALL. Because of it, you feel like in a mausoleum, or a Soviet library. I personally love browsing for CDs, but here it's no fun at all. And the worst if it is pricing: the prices are atrocious. There are places much cheaper. But if you want something more exotic or rare, Transylvania might be your only option. There are also tons of concert Blu-rays and DVDs.

Lot of CDs, the collection of vinyl records is lot smaller than CDs. Most records ordered alphabetically, having most of genres mixed (except of rythm'n'blues, jazz etc. - they are in a separate room), so quite difficult to dig for something of a particular genre. The specialization of the record collection is mostly mainstream rock of 70s, prog-rock, almost no punk, indie and records of 90s or later. Good for elderly record collectors.

Thousands of LPs to dig in, prices are higher than in online shops, the store interior is very outdated and dusty...
