Trapezna Idey

Looks like the entrance of a museum and is this slightly hard to discover. It is a comfy restaurant in a basement with masonry vaults and rustic decoration. The food is tasty and made according to old recipes. Not everything may be in season and available. We enjoyed lamb in pomegranate sauce, fish in horseradish.

Dont recomend this place for whenever its a hot sunny day outside, since it gets a bit stuffy inside, but the food is preety awesome for the most part ! Takes a long time to get served however, and waiters were not exactly the friendliest bunch ! The ambience inside is great too if a bit too dark

Most delicious local Galician food! Though not very easy to find (just go to the exhibition and take the stairs down), it's absolutely worth a visit! They have a wonderful menu of local specialities of Galychyna (Lviv) region in excellent preparation. The prices will pleasantly surprised you, so will the menu card incl. the "dictionary". Don't miss out to try great local food! Their borsch is the perfection itself /

It's located at the back of a monastery and you go through a shop to be able to enter to the restaurant. There is a slight smell of humidity inside. The atmosphere is nice though: renaissance era music with the matching interior design... The staff speak English enough to take orders. But the menu here is -with all due respect- terrible! It's not categorized well and doesn't explain the dishes clearly. Eventually, you find yourself asking things about the menu. I went this restaurant because of a recommendation of a friend. I've been told how good the food was, so my expectations were high. However, it didn't match it. The food was barely average and service was slow. I believe there are much better restaurants around the same prices in Lviv. If I were you I would have chosen one of those.

Perfect “banosh”, good beer and sweet price! If you don’t have mood and time to get up early and have a breakfast come here directly at the opening at 11:00 and have your dinner ;)

Fantastic place! Nice medieval atmosphere and everything we ate was delicious! Loved the onion pie, bograch goulash, onion soup and kruchenyk.

By far, this is my favorite place in Lviv, especially in a bad weather. It’s comfortably lit, the food is like my Grandmother’s, and the staff is always friendly and efficient. Love this place!

Meal was most delicious. We had pork, lamb and beef and all of them are pure delights. Prices are also good. The place was out of time. A must visit.
