Beautiful cabins and location. Very high quality of both the facilities and the food, including breakfast and 3 course dinner. Very friendly staff. I would come again any time!

We were there for a 12 course meal yesterday but I beleive we got more like 15. The food was World class and most likely the best meal we have ever had. Johnny even took us on tour in his wine cellar. They let us stay there with our rented mobile home and gave us power. The service was top class. Highly recommended.

While we didn’t spend the night, the evening dog sled ride and multi-course dinner was our favorite excursion along the coast of Norway. The dogs were very friendly and patient with us first timers as was our musher who answered all our questions. The dinner was also the best we’ve had. Our host offered paired wines which went beautifully with our elegant meal. This is definitely a must do if you’re ever in the area. Cheers!

Amazing experience. Highly recommend for all in the area considering Johnny's hospitality and Trine's thoughtful development of a great husky business. Get on a sled and mush the dogs. You will love it. Try the fine dining dinner. Take it from a chef. You will love the quality and the wine list! Great cocktails at the Alaska Bar on site!

From Alta sentrum to Trasti & Trine is about 15 min by car. Staff is very friendly, happy to explain and show you around. - They have a little cozy bar, all made on 🪵 - Northern lights, check aurora forecast to increase your chances to see them - Beautiful cabins Scandinavian architecture - Huskies I’ll recommend to stay minimum two nights !

Wow. Just incredible all around. From the food, to the hospitality and rooms, everything was excellent. Hard to beat watching snow fall with a glass of wine and a book while a bunch of huskies howl goodnight. Our sledge guide was awesome, as were Chat, Devi, Aivi, Crab, Clooney, Herbie, and Ferrari. Highly recommend renting some skis and checking out the trails after the sleds go through.

One of the best place I ever stayed at. We had a beautiful dinner after going for a trip with the dogs. What a wonderful evening!

We had a great time at Trasti & Trine. The guesthouse was big and the rooms were nice. The breakfast and dinner was very good and we would recommend everyone to eat here. The husky sledge ride was an amazing experience.

My wife and I were touring Norway with Insight travel when we visited this wonderful restaurant for lunch and dog sledding. We have been traveling along the coast of and this was one of the best restaurants we had visited. Johnny would be a zillionaire if this place was in New York City or LAS Vegas but the couple love dog sledding and of course Norway. The food and service were better the most Michelin rated restaurants we have dined. The food was perfectly portioned, paired with the best wines and served at the perfect time. To believe we were brought to this restaurant during a group tour chasing the Northern lights was icing on the cake. Our dog sledding experience through the snow covered trails and trees was absolutely breathtaking beautiful. The entire experience was the highlight of our trip, even more than seeing the Northern Lights! This is a great experience from a great couple who love dog sledding and entertaining guests.
