Trattoria Al Boia Partanes

Wish I had the caponata we've ordered 😂 and all in all, this place is actually better than expected considering we are long way from the seafood, but still feels like ingredients are at best - fine. Olive oil and bread in particular should be much better in such place. But, the wine choices were decent and smart. Nothing extravagant but worked very well. There was way too much calamary in fried fish plate to my taste, but to be honest, it was fried perfectly

Cozy place, with great food and good service for a reasonable price. We ate here twice and were more than satisfied both times! Recommended to make a reservation upfront.

Little place in Merano's old town, tucked away, very cozy, great atmosphere and awsome food, I highly recommend it! I had the zucchini parmesan, then spaghetti vongole, OMG so delicious!! with lots of sauce and mussels, past al dente it was very tasty, my husband had the spaghetti al olio, garlic and shrimp which was delicious too.

This place was a lovely little find. It is a bit off the beaten path and has limited seating both inside and outside. Specializes in Italian seafood dishes. The menu is small, but the dishes we are were fantastic. We had spaghetti vongele and spaghetti with shrimp and oil. The zucchini appetizer was excellent. Recommend this place if you are looking to satisfy a seafood itch.

In the words of Tina Turner - simply the best ! Wonderful atmosphere, warm, attentive staff - and superb food at fair prices. We have been every year for the past 5 years and you think it can't get better - but it does. Marco - you are magnifico ! Really nice place in an authentic part of the city. I little gem because it's hidden and you eat relly well. The owner seems to be fron sicily so that a big plus :-) really good cuisine comes from there <3

The food was quite good. In terms of service, this place seems to operate on a hit or miss basis. The staff seemed a little passive aggressive today, but maybe it's different on other days. I guess we'll never find out. 😉
