Trattoria Al Faro

Fresh tasting food. Had the octopus salad, "6 traditional" starters, Swordfish pasta (my favourite of the meals) and the cod steaks. Service was friendly and accommodating, and food came in reasonable time. Only complaint is they are a bit heavy on the salt for my preference (but everything was still delicious)

Excellent! The interior design is elegant, modern, and relaxing. The staff were nice, and professional, and the food was delicious. Top quality products, everything from antipasti to dessert was excellent! Will for sure go back again. Highly recommend!

Four course menu allowed us to sample a variety of Sicilian food and wonderful fresh fish! Followed up by a delicious lemon sorbet with strawberries plus limoncello! Highly recommend.

We had the set day menu which included fried and grilled seafood and fish. It was all overcooked, dry and tasteless. Extremely expensive and the servers were completely unbothered to ask if the food was of taste not even when we left most of it on the plates.The desert was also very disappointing. Definitely not worth the hefty 80 euro bill.

The atmosphere was pleasant and the fish was tasty. Unfortunately, the service was comparatively underwhelming and not particularly friendly — no one checked in to ask how the food was or if we needed anything else. As we place high importance on that, we wouldn’t choose to dine there again.

Authentic seafood trattoria with a short , yet well structured, local menu. Highly recommended the local pasta "busiata", in both its versions. Quality/price very well balanced.

The restaurant is modern, clean and cool (air con), which was a relief at lunchtime. The food was very well presented and tasted great. Good service. We enjoyed our lunch very much. The 6 different starters were interesting. My octopus wrapped in bacon was meaty, not chewy. Cod was very good. Seafood risotto, and prawn pesto pasta, all delicious too. Thank you for a great 2 hour leisurely lunch with my family.

Recommended by a local as wondering the streets of Sciacca. Nestled close to the harbour this modern decor isn’t your typical trattoria. Food is humble and seasonal, beverages are artisan and local.

Lovely restaurant set one block from the water. Light, airy, upscale appearance with white tablecloths and cloth napkins. The food was delicious and the waitstaff professional and attentive.

While driving through Sciacca during lunch time I came across Al Faro and gave it a shot. When I entered I was the only one there, soon to change, and I can see why. The restaurant totally exceeded my expectations with limited offerings open. First the staff were all wonderful. Though we had a little communication barrier, google translate more than made up for that and I was able to order without any major issues. I had the eggplant caponata which I have to say was not my favorite; great ingredients for sure, but in the end too sweet for my liking. However, the Busiate with swordfish which is local Sicilian favorite more than made up it. The sun dried tomatoes, fresh lemon and parsley was just a great combination with the fish. I could not finish it all but that was not due to the taste. I was just simply stuffed. Do not be afraid to try Al Faro if in the area. They are located right by the dock with plenty of parking, and you'll have a great experience.

Absolutely delighted by the exceptional risotto at this place. The food overall was amazing, with a strong local influence. However, the desserts didn't quite match up to the standard set by the main courses. Highly recommended!

Wow! absolutely fantastic food. The service is great and so was the ambiance. We will definitely be back here again. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Great menu choices. Have Google translator ready to work thru the menu Clean, great service and delicious food Entering the place you will be surprised and delighted with the decor. Never suspect what's behind the door until you walk in and see for yourself. Enjoy
