Trattoria Al Vecchio Club Rosanero

Very nice place. We wanted to go there for a dinner but they was closed for some reason so we decided to go back for a lunch next day. We was first and they tables were booked so if you want to eat there better to call first or need to wait till the table will be free. The atmosphere is nice and interesting restaurant with a lot of small details , pictures and so on. Was to less fish in a eggplant salad but the pasta with sea ​​urchin is just very good 👍🏻 it’s more homemade style but tasty

We got this place recommended by a local and what a great tip it was! The Trattoria Al Vecchio Club Rosanero serves amazing, authentic Sicilian food full of flavor and made with love. Portions are generous (you can even order half portions!), the staff is incredibly kind, and the prices are amazing for the quality. Perfect if you’re hungry and if not, even cheaper! 🍝🍷🇮🇹

For a truly local food experience this trattoria is perfect. It's away from all the tourist crowds. Some staff members don't speak English, but they try to help and ask their colleagues who do. I've used the app for translation but other team members were quick to help with a smile. Pasta dishes are superb, full of flavour. The option to order half a portion is simply brilliant. Regular size portions are large so be aware. Beef steak with cheese was also very tasty and tender. The value for money is much better than on the main street and the atmosphere is 100% real Palermo. The old photographs of Palermo are so interesting.

- Don't get offput by people complaining about "menu of the day" – that's GOOD, it means their ingredients are fresh every day - Big portions, great taste - Get the white wine, it's fruity, refreshing, pairs greatly with the food

Came to this place after a few reviews pointed this place as a local favourite and having a home cook flavour. All I can say is come hungry, as the full portions are massive, and even the half portions of pasta are what you would usually call a full portion. The grilled squid was to die for, and the antipasto house mix is perfect. We loved it so much that we came back again a few days later for lunch.

Loved this cozy traditional place. Plenty of choice front he menu. Many locals eats there which I believe it’s always a good sign! Extra points if you are a football fan. Got one of the best stuffed squid I’ve ever had in my life

A traditional and nice Sicilian restaurant with a local vibe. The first two dishes in the photos were delicious. We tried three pasta dishes of which I didn’t like any. The meat dish was bland. They have an English menu, but they didn’t have half the stuff in it. The day’s menu was written on a board in Italian. The staff didn’t speak English, but were friendly. Service charge € 1.5. I would come here again and order something else. Nice prices.
